Yesterday came in for the 9.99 prime rib special. The good. Excellent service quick getting waited on and food to us. The brown gravy was actually good. prime rib was cooked just right. Now the bad prime rib had no flavor. Horseradish cream was not spicy. Roll was cold and dry. Veggies were canned and under cooked. Overall I would be back as its a ok meal for the money. Having breakfast now. Quick getting us coffee and milk is ice cold. French Toast is decent. Wife has an omelet that is very good.

My servers name was. Julie. She was AWESOME. My food’s name was 9.99 Prime Rib Special. It was GREAT! I’ll just cut to the chase here. I went in because of the billboard and I wasn’t disappointed. Was this some high class fancy dancy meal for $ 9.99? No. Do not delude yourself. However the cut of meat was good(check my photo) and the potato was perfect!(Not just because of the butter.) My service was spot on too! I’ve spend way more for a meal and gotten the complete opposite of service too. I probably will go back while I am in Elko on assignment. The smoke really wasn’t noticeable, but I’m sure on a busy night it might get a little bad. So for this meal 4.1 stars. Just a little note though. The restaurant is on the east side of the building if you want to not walk through the casino. And I am really surprised they didn’t require a club card to get the meal. Why did I give them 5 stars? Because some Jack gave them an undeserved 1 star a few months ago. In my opinion one star should be reserved for food poisonings, theft, hate crimes and stalking. 2 stars? Maybe.

It was food. Headed home to Utah, saw the billboards advertising 8.99 prime rib. Comes with soup or salad, nothing special blue cheese was just cafeteria at best. Wife had the tortilla soup flavorless and luke warm. Nuked potato but barely warm on service, prime rib was pan warmed or cook used the salamander to bring to room temperature. Mixed vegetables from same cafeteria vendor. You should never have to add salt to an au ju to impart flavor. Beef broth? At least the coffee was warm. Change vendors and hire a chef that understands the use of spices. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for, cheap always disappoints.
