Great sandwich spot and alternative to fast food while road tripping. Friendly staff, good bread, and make your own sandwich options.

I love the Daily Bread! I am so glad that their store has expanded. They have amazing snacks, pastries, sandwiches, and many more delicious items to choose from. The customer service is amazing. I think my boyfriend and I go there too much, haha one of the girls has memorized my name. :)

This was definitely a perfect little place to stop on a day adventure East from Seattle. Just looking for a sandwich, and left with some other goodies from their market. I ordered turkey, Colby cheese, lettuce, tomato, garlic and pesto spread with avocado and it was delicious!

This little place is definitely one of the best places for lunch in Ellensburg. Every different kind of soup and sandwich I have tried here has been phenomenal.

Family oriented place! I’m new to E-burg and this was the perfect place to have my 1st meal in town. I had an oven-roasted chicken half sandwich with fresh veggies and a chicken & rice soup. AMAZING! I will be coming by often!

Was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem of a deli in Ellensburg. Had a couple of great sandwiches on some wonderful homemade bread. Will go back again! Oh and lots of spices, candy and other pantry items!

Had a great lunch! Homemade vegetable soup and a french dip paninni. Very fresh and delicious. Small place with just a few tables and was quite busy. They also have an array of homemade breads and candy as well as bulk baking supplies and spices. Would definitely recommend and would go there again.

This has got to be my all-time favorite place to get a sandwich! And they have so many other packaged goodies including my favorite green bean crisps.

Lovely little deli. Felt like we were transported to Little House on the Prairie. My summer salad was perfection — fresh crisp blueberries, strawberries, kale, spinach, feta, almonds, and chopped green onion topped with a light poppyseed dressing. Really nice portion and the cream of cauliflower was also quite nice and dairy-free! The boyfriend built a sandwich and the jalapeño bread was really nice, softest bite of sandwich I’ve ever had. That might not sound like a good thing, but you’ll just have to trust me. The store is filled with tons of baking wonders as others have noted, apricot gelatin, wha what? We got some grapefruit gummies for $ 1.82. I regret not buying the peach & mango, next time…

An awesome stop about 1 mile down the main street in Ellensburg — past the fast food joints on the right. Many delicious made-to-order meal options, candy, snacks, and pastries — what else could you want in a lunch? Not to mention, their homemade bread is probably the BEST I’ve had in recent memory. So soft and tasty! I should have purchased a loaf to take home. :( My sandwich was humungous in size. Fresh ‘n filling. Want a healthy lunch in E-Burg with many dessert options? Daily Bread = jackpot.

Yummy Quiche and the apple salad was nice. They made a grilled cheese for my kids even though it wasn’t on the menu. Very nice people. Cute place.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through on a road trip we take often, and this will be our go-to stop for lunch and snacks. I ordered creamy broccoli soup, and it was tasty, and even better, packed with broccoli. We ended up also leaving with some bread for the week, cookies, and chips and salsa for dinner later. If we had a cooler, we would have left with some of the take and bake things they offered. Such a nice mercantile-style shopping experience too — good selection of bulk items and cool enamel dinnerware. Great service and friendly atmosphere as well!

Excellent turkey and cheddar sandwich with taco soup combo! Bread was deliciously soft and moist and soup was spicy enough to warm me up on this chilly day!

How did we just find this place? Number one in Ellensburg for a reason. The meat and cheese is sliced right there daily, and the bread is freshly made in their bakery. Ordered the daily special whole sandwich, asparagus and turkey quiche, and scone for under $ 15 for everything. The best quiche I’ve ever had and the sandwich was so dang good. Awesome, friendly staff. Will frequently return. Update: Went again and purchased an espresso/chocolate scone, and the daily special(Turkey Pesto Panini, full sandwich). Total was only $ 9. Impressions during eating were instant joy, dear sweet Lord I wish I had found this place before.

The Fine run a very, very fine place. The food is tasty, fresh, wholesome and the atmosphere is welcoming, generous and always of good spirit. Matt and Dana have created a lovely place to have fresh cinnamon rolls on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — and the best sandwiches in Ellensburg. They make their own bread, and use meats and cheeses that are sourced from outstanding suppliers — many from the Amish country — that are truly old school and tasty. There is always a daily pastry — today as I sit here it is a white chocolate scone made by one of the creative pastry chefs, while in the kitchen, a few more bakers are making fresh apple pie. Yum. The bulk foods are focused on people who make their own baked goods, with flour sourced from Wheat, Montana, with all the additions I need when I make bread — very hard to find anywhere. Big note: Daily Bread has the only honey that is sourced locally from Kittitas County — and they sell it in bulk. I often start or end my day with a great pie, lovely fresh pie along with a fresh brewed cup or two of coffee. It is very nice to see a place that is friendly, tasty and welcoming — bringing a bit of light to a dark world — along with some amazingly welcoming food! If you have not tried it, come on down — as a regular customer, you can likely find me behind my computer — and get a bit of free tech support here!

This place is an adorable mom-and-pops-style café/mercantile, located in a small business complex on the main road. It’s a great spot for lunch or a small treat, whether you take it to go or sit at one of their shabby-chic tables. It smells incredible every time I go in because something is always freshly baking. The café menu features homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and cold drinks. They also have several baked goods(cupcakes, pies, cookies) for purchase. The mercantile has some great offerings in the forms of organic/natural baking supplies, soup mixes, dip mixes and staples like flour, oat meal, etc. I mostly recommend this place as a really great lunch spot with friendly service but it’s also a great place to shop for ingredients if you are someone that likes to make healthy, organic items for your family from scratch.
