Guy working was rude and had bad customer service. Had to wait for a while before he even came out of the back. Too bad to because other pita pits I’ve been to have been decent.

It’s a nice and great restaurant. They have a menu and shows a lot of different choices. The service is good, and food is good too

I order delivery from here from time and again. The ingredients usually seem fresh and the pitas are decent. This location can be pretty slow on delivery and they aren’t entirely dedicated to remembering all your ingredients when you call on the phone. Never had any problems when dining in person.

I finally decided to go here and ordered a Philly Steak pita. I would like to start out that I am from the Mid West and have consumed many a Philly steak. There was a lot of meat, however it was EXTREMELY dry, which a Philly steak is not. I am a purist so I did not add any veggies or sauces. I will go back and try something else at another time. I did mention that since they were not using fresh meat that they could maybe have some au jus to add while the meat was on the grill.

Like the previous Unilocalers, it is like a Subway where you choose your main meat of choice and get to add the sauce and veggies at the end. I got the chicken souvlaki with tzatziki sauce, cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes and red onion, delicious! Will have to try the falafel next time. Staff were nice and helpful.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had Pita Pit in Seattle, so I was pretty stoked to try it again while visiting Ellensburg. They stay open until 10PM! Yaaay! Most places seem to close pretty early(between 8 – 9). –Food: my hunnie ordered the prime rib and I tried the chicken slouvaki. Both were good and far better than Subway(IMO). They offer warm chewy pita pockets and stuff it with fresh veggies that included mushrooms, spinach, and more. Mines was topped thick and creamy Tzatziki sauce and huge chunks of feta. Be warned! I like feta but the chunks were a bit too overpowering. The meats are grilled once you order which usually makes everything taste better. –Other pros: friendly, fast employees and very clean establishment. Cost was about $ 6.25-$ 6.50 per pita. They’re huge! Yes, we’ll most likely come again and try the other meats they offer. Hopefully they’ll also have cookies! They were sold out, but that’s probably a good thing.

Great food, smells like mold inside, so not recommended to dine in. Large portions. We each had a veger falafel. I was able to save half of mine for my daughter come her lunch break. Very healthy. Had a vitamin water with it and was good for the evening. Always a pleasure to find veger food at a reasonable price for takeout :)

Love this place. It’s a Pita Pit so yeah you don’t need me to tell you about that part of it. This one though is open till 3AM weekend nights, the people are always so nice, and they have the point card thing I think only some Pita Pit’s have. But I just, love this Pita Pit, ’nuff said.

I pull up. Street has a good feel. I walk in. Place smelled like someone didn’t know how to mop. I look at the menu… A vegan can work it. The girl comes out the back. I fall in love. Food was good for a fast burrito. Lots of options to fill it up with.

The lamb gyros are delicious! The prices are a little high but well worth it. Practically a sandwich bar that serves pitas and gyros.

When in Ellensburg I almost always eat at the Pita Pit. I am gluten intolerant and my friend is a vegetarian. I order the chicken frajitas as a salad and she orders the black bean vegie burger. THe food is very good, fresh and healthy. THe people are nice and helpful. The décor reminds me of all my college hang outs in the 70’s Lots of space, cost and health conscious. A good place to hang out with your friends without putting out a lot of $ and no sacrifice on flavor nutrition. This place is young, unpretentious, arty, and fun!

The sandwiches were okay. They offer two tables outdoors, which is nice. However, inside the restaurant it is so LOUD and echoes, it’s like being in a mess hall!

This is a great place to eat its basically a Subway with Pita’s, the Falafel pita is so good. I would def recommend it. Dap snap right in the middle of Ellensburg and convenient to the main road.

LOVEPITPIT! its like a nicer subway with pita’s! i worked and one in sacramento and i can tell you it is fresh and very healthy for unless you go for the gyro’s. I would recommend pita pit to anyone. I left out a star because this location has almost zero parking!

Wonderful option for vegan, vegetarian, and meat eaters. My husband and I stopped by here on our road trip while passing through Ellensburg. We got the felafel loaded with grilled and fresh veggies and good sauces. They were fat and tasty and the best vegan meal of our trip so far.

This was one of my favorite late night places in Ellensburg. They are open late, not sure how late. They have good food, made to order. The décor is weird. The service is about the same as any fastfood place. Parking sucks. It’s a good place to eat and sober up. Eat here or the hotdog stand, avoid the fastfood chains.

Andrew F. basiclly wrote the exact same review that I would write for Pita Pit. It really is Subway with more exotic, better bread and better sauces. I like it fine and when driving through Ellensburg it will probably now be my fast food of choice. But the lighting is terrible in there, the decorations are really cheesey and the seating is terribly uncomfortable. I think they do what they can to discourage you from eating your pita in their restaurant. But what the Pita Pit is best for is the super late night delivery. That’s why you find them only in college towns. Not sure what the Ellensburg location’s delivery hours are, but if they are similar to other places, you can easily get back from the bar and get yourself something relatively healthy delivered. Because you really should watch your diet when you come home falling down drunk, right?
