Ice cream is delicious, servings are HUGE, staff is friendly. Never had a bad experience here. They have a different list of flavors on different days. My favorite is mint, but sometimes they don’t have it and I get orange twist instead! Still delicious though

Great soft ice cream! First time I went, really hit the spot! Can’t wait to go again. Huge serving size(always a personal gripe for me, so you know the portion is generous).

Decent servings for the price and good service. Cash only is kind of annoying.

Best Ice cream I’ve ever had :) the price is good with very friendly people. The kiddie size is like a small. Simply delicious every time :)

Soft Stuff was the place to go in the summer for cheap, good ice cream. There was a time when they were renovating the entire lot. When I went back, I felt like the ice cream was different from the previous bazillion times I had it. It’s still good but I don’t think it’s as good as it was before.

Pretty average soft serve. You can get comparable ice cream at McDonald’s. We used the check in deal and both got the vanilla chocolate twist. Prices were decent but they only take cash. It’s a convenient place to stop if you’re already hanging out in the shopping center.

I was not too impressed by their ice cream. It was overly sweet for me. The cone tasted a little funky, too, reminiscent of cardboard a little bit; not aromatic and crispy.

Holy grail of all soft serve ice creams! Creamy and drool-worthy soft serve, highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. If you already live here, I’m assuming you must already know about this place because it is just that good. I checked in and used the Unilocal BOGO offer for small cones and ordered two vanilla and chocolate twists all for $ 3.50. Completely underestimated their version of «small», it was more of a medium/large. Recommend sharing just one if you are not using the BOGO deal or order the«kiddie» size. Note: Place is CASH only! Not an issue considering how affordable their menu items are.

Soooo first off… YESSSSSS they have frozen yogurt too! Everybody can’t have ice-cream. It’s sad… I know. My body started rejecting certain types of dairy starting a little over a year ago. Milk went first and that was easy because I didn’t like to drink plain milk that much anyways. I basically learned to love almond milk and coconut milk and get creative. Ever had coconut milk hot chocolate? Baby its theeee bomb! Anywho… fast forward and my body decided that ice-cream was no longer my friend. I was upset with that… so I learned to love frozen yogurt! Unfortunately, I soon learned that certain types of frozen yogurt I can indulge in and others… I can’t. Like that time I tried Friendly’s frozen yogurt… let’s just say my boyfriend back then could barely get back home fast enough! I literally ran in the house. *painful memories* And there have been other close calls, but I will spare the details, ok?! But don’t front fellow Unilocalers because I know a-many of you can relate! Long story short, for me trying frozen treats can be quite risky and I will only do this if I know I will be able to go home afterwards, if needed! Haha. Anywho the frozen yogurt at this place made the cut! I enjoyed my vanilla waffle cone dipped in chocolate with no problems so this place will see more of me! Did I especially say that I love… no I heart dipped cones! Lol. That’s a huge plus and as I like to say«I’ll be back!!!» *in my terminator voice* My friend had a cone also and she chose to have her ice-cream covered in chocolate sprinkles. They have lots of options! Also they have places to sit outside and eat… but you will need to eat it fast because it melts quickly in the summer! However, it was deeeeelicious.

A small cone is a large at most places, which for the richness of this ice cream(note: ice cream, we’re talking 10% milkfat here, people) is a straight-up meal. Do yourself a favor a get a receipt coupon from a local grocery store get get 50% off any dish or cone. I recently tired caramel(which I was told was not a great seller) and loved it. My ice cream allegiances are pretty strong with Sonic’s half-priced shakes but when you can get a cone for this size for under two bucks and in one of about a dozen flavors, well, you’ll get my business any day.

Its true. The small cone size is a lot. Came with a friend and she couldnt finish hers so she ended up throwing it away. I ended up cutting off some ice cream with a spoon to get to the cake cone part. The interior is nice with a couples of tables for small groups.

The creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had! Not too thick or heavy but still super rich, I was impressed! Unilocal currently offers a BOGO for small cones if you check in. We got one vanilla cone and one chocolate/vanilla twist. I loved the fact that the soft-served ice cream wasn’t too frozen or too wet and drippy. I’m telling you, it had the perfect ice cream texture! The store is very clean and the décor is cute– most definitely kid friendly! They have lots of flavors to choose from if you don’t want to stick to the originals like us. The worker who served us was very friendly and made it seem like she was happy to help us out which is always plus! If you love your kids and your kids love ice cream, be sure to treat them to this place! Oh but fyi, cash only!!!

I love their soft serve definitely the best in ellicott city and in hoco. its creamy and tasty and thick and just heaven. it’s not liquidy and watery and melted like other ice cream places and the portions are huge and their waffle cones are definitely worth the extra dollar or two. I got a waffle cone twist and was definitely big enough to share with my mom. this is my go to ice cream craving spot and basically every soft serve flavor will taste good no matter what flavor it is. Miss the old motel scenery parlor but glad soft serve returned and reopened :)

Best soft served ice cream period. Been going to this place for over 20 years. They recently just reopened after entire lot got rebuilt. Use to be a motel with this soft serve ice crème place attached. I am giving it five stars because for 20 some years and trying soft serve ice crème from new york, california, miami, vancouver, china. This is still my favorite. Nice thick and creamy. Always a huge portion. So be sure to order small unless you want a big mile high cone for fun. Their original flavor is chocolate and vanilla. So be sure to get the twist. Other flavors I have not tried because the twist is always the best. Hope this review helped.

I came here after having dinner in the area. Soft Stuff is a small place that serves a variety of different-flavored soft serve(can also add toppings for an additional charge), as well as shakes, floats, soda, and snowballs. They’re located in the same plaza as Massage Envy, the plaza adjacent to Honey Pig. ‘If you check in via Unilocal, you can do a BYGO free of a small cone/dish! I thought that was pretty awesome: D Since I’m into seasonal flavors, I got myself Pumpkin Pie, and for the free one, I chose Strawberry(for the hubsters: P The soft serve was definite’y ‘soft’ — airy-ish and the taste of ‘pumpkin pie’ was subtle — I just wished it was more spiced up. The strawberry was pretty okay, too, but I wished they had more of the ‘strawberry’ drizzle within. I thought it was kind of neat to see the soft serve having the flavors ‘woven’ in, so you see the ‘lines of the flavors.’ I’m hoping they also offer sample tastings of the flavors they offer, but I wasn’t able to try any as I was in a rush. +check-in via Unilocal to get a BYGO free of a small cone/dish :D

WHEREHAVEYOUBEENALLMYLIFE? I’ve been going to the honeypig next door since 2009 but have never even heard of this place until this past sunday!(I heard that they were closed for a little bit… but STILL) Well, now they are back and I am glad. After some korean bbq, this place is great for dessert or if you want maybe even the main course meal. If you don’t eat much, i recommend the kiddie size cone because that’s about the size of a normal soft serve you would get somewhere else. The small is actually pretty big and the Large is pretty epic. The different cones are pretty cool too. Overall, the ice cream was soft and creamy. It also was very soft /light compared to others soft serves like from McDonalds. Flavors: — mint: not a big mint fan, but it was highly recommended so I tried it. and it was great! It’s not too minty. Rather, it’s more like regular vanilla soft serve with accents and highlights of green mint mixed throughout the ice cream. It even looks like that. — Orange: similar to mint in that it’s not overpowering orange, but like vanila with hints of orange mixed it. They stayed true to the soft serve. The best part though. is the chocolate dip! ask to get your ice cream dipped in chocolate and it’s FRESHLY dipped with a nice thin layer of chocolate. delicious. TIP: the menu says they can’t mix flavors with(or without) the asterisk but that just means the machine doesn’t mix the flavors. If you want different flavors, just ask, and they can put them in one cone. Price was also very good. I paid a little over 2 dollars.(well, my friend who paid for me did) CASHONLY I shall return when I come back to ellicott city. I wish they were open 24 hrs like honey pig next door.
