Love this place. I’ve tried different plates and appetizers and I haven’t been disappointed.

Beef tomato pasta and it was great. The owner Jessie was very friendly and well– acknowledged on Chinese/Taiwanese food. Clean and spacious. I’d come back again

I get takeout about twice a month when I crave some Chinese food. The interior is very spacious and clean. A nice Taiwanese couple run the place themselves. I normally get beef stew noodle soup or fried pork chop over rice. The food is always yummy. I haven’t tried anything else but I’m sure they’re probably all great also. It’s not your typical Americanized Chinese food restaurant. When you don’t feel like going to Broadway or Flushing for Chinese food, then I recommend this place.

The food here is solid– get the Beef Stew Noodle Soup if it’s your first time. I just tried the Curry Chicken Rice Bowl and it was tasty too. Came with some veggies, which is a plus! Extra thumbs up for the consistently good service!

What a wonderful bowl of beef stew noodle soup! Phở is usually my to-go rainy day food, but I think I have a NU favorite. Lols. I didn’t have to add anything to the stew. It had the right amount of spice, level of saltiness, and beefiness to it. There’s a subtle hint of sweetness as well. The beef itself is tender… Five stars if the beef can just fall apart in the bowl. And if it was just less oily, this dish would be a solid 10. So incredibly delicious though! Come stop by and see for yourself!

Really delicious noodle soup! The service is really, really slow but the food was so yummy it didn’t even matter. The hot & spicy eggplant is neither hot or spicyl it’s really cold and very mild, though still delicious — just not what I was expecting or desiring. The meatball noodle soup was huge and very filling. The two meatballs in there were delicious and melt in your mouth buttery, as were the noodles. I would definitely go back if I am ever in this area again!

I agree with the other Unilocalers saying this place should be more popular. Chewy homemade noodles? Check. Tender thick slices of beef veined with fat? Check. Flavorful broth? Check. Courteous and attentive staff? Check. Cheap prices and accepts credit card? Double check! A perfect dinner for a cold night. Place is super casual, order in the front then wait to be called. They have a few tables(up to parties of 4) and one long communal table. I think, a worthy competition of lao bei fang. The reason why it isn’t 5 stars: Nowhere does it state that the beef stew noodles is a bit spicy(chili oil). Good thing I can handle a little heat.

A mom and pop shop where you can see the chemistry between the workers is great. Not stressed out, and they are very friendly people. Had the beef noodle soup and the noodles were delicious. Could have had more beef too though cuz that was amazing! Define try coming back when I’m in the area!

At first I was not excited to food from this place because: 1. The décor is very very simple, just a few benches and tables. Nothing special 2. Looks like a hole in the wall 3. Place looks dead BUT! I still gave it a try, since it was super clean looking(which is pretty rare considering this is Elmhurst) I had their beef noodle soup. Let me put this in simple terms; BESTEVER. I regret that I judge this place so quickly based on their looks. Anyways, the food was amazing the service was great. I ordered for takeout and sat at one of their tables since they had 2 huge TVs and was always playing Football. Once the food was ready they don’t just call you«Hey!” instead they walk to you and tell you personally. I dont know about you but that gesture was enough to make me a loyal customer. Make sure to get their beef noodle soup and braised pork. The fried dumplings are also amazing. If you dont want to burn a hole in your wallet for a quick meal then definitely check this place out! PS the price is very reasonable and they take Credit Card!

Service was great. Quick service. You can literally watch a ball game they have a TV on the wall and the place is huge and spacious. Comfortable long wooden tables. The noodles were DELICIOUS. Ooo my goodness I drank all of the soup it was SO good. Their fish fillet is TENDER and the portion size was huge. I thought I’d be hungry so I ordered a side of chicken wings which came in 3. But I was really full from the soup, the noodle & the fish. The chicken wings were good with the sauces which they had hoisin, chili, sweet & sour, as well as ketchup & soy sauce. They have plastic fork, knife and spoon utensils as well as chopsticks. Don’t be fooled by the plastic it really cuts the fish really good. It works! And the fork picks up a lot of noodle. Overall 5⁄5 stars for excellent service, economical price, savory flavor, the dining setting as well as how short the wait was!

Waked by here multiple times before I finally got the chance to check it out today… And they did not disappoint. For all of its intended purposes to serve Taiwanese fast food, I was very happy with everything we ordered(beef noodle, cutlets). The service was also very friendly. Will probably be my new go to place for quick fixes, since it’s conveniently located by the mall and bus stops where my daily commute is(as opposed to trekking to elhmurst)

The price was average. I bought four things for around $ 20 – 30. Food was very appealing, and tastes just as good as it looks. The atmosphere is nice. I got here when it was 5pm and stayed til 6pm on the weekend, and there wasn’t a lot of people. Pretty empty most of the time. The service is good too :) I’ll totally come here again~

The place is nearly empty on Sunday lunch hour, no idea why. Deco is modern, the place is clean. A lot of seats. The food is good, I order the tomato beef noodle, the beef is thick cut, I am surprised generous amount of beef considering price is $$ 6.5. The beef is tender and delicious, juicy. Can’t go wrong with $ 6.5 noodle soup.

I’ll be the first to admit that when NuNoodle debuted in Elmhurst, I was skeptical. Broadway already offered a plethora of Asian options with noodles not at all being in short supply. Restaurants were already established with longstanding clientele. I doubted them, and I was wrong. I ordered their chicken cutlet rice bowl and was very pleasantly surprised. At only $ 6.95, it was an awesome value. I ordered my meal to go, and what really impressed me was their attention to detail. They packaged my chicken cutlet and pan fried dumplings in separate takeout containers from the rice and veggies, and took extra care to leave them both slightly open so that by the time I got it home, they remained perfectly crispy. Soggy items are a pet peeve of mine, and I really appreciated the small but helpful step they took to ensure my meal remained appetizing. The menu is small, but concise. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. The space is clean and modern. I was sad to see only one patron when I went in to pick up my order. Perhaps people are judging this book by it’s cover, like I so wrongfully did. In any case, I hope that like me, people in the area will give NuNoodle their one fair shot. I’m very glad that I did!

Great Taiwanese fast food restaurant. The place is super clean, and the owner is very friendly to the customers. The menu is not large, but contains many Taiwanese favorites like beef noodles and chicken popcorn. Broth of their noodles is superb.

I don’t understand why this place is always empty, or doesn’t have a higher rating. It has nice ambience, food is delicious and it’s very modestly priced. The staff are nice, and the place is clean, I just don’t have anything to complain! Having had beef noodle soup from the beef noodle soup kingdom, Taiwan, I wouldn’t say the noodle is A+ but it’s certainly delicious. The one thing they do VERY well is the meat. They are so tender and juicy it’ll just melt in your mouth. The best part about the experience here is the self served dine in experience. There’s no tipping but you still get restaurant experience. Love it.

I didn’t think this place would have such a nice ambiance considering its on Queens Blvd. but it definitely surprised me in more ways than one. Immediately you walk in and find yourself in a chill eatery. I recommend the cheese wontons, slightly spicy but crispy and flavorful. The fried pork chop with the rice is also delicious. Somewhat salty but flavorful and the rice comes topped with some flavorful ground beef. My mom ordered the noodles(beef stew), flavored with 5 spice and such a large portion for under $ 8! They also serve beers here — lagunitas and blue moon to name a few. I’d probably come here with friends in the area to drink and grab some cheap, good tasting food.

I honestly didn’t want to go here at first. It was empty all the time but one day, I decided to pay a visit since my brother told me how good it was here. And I do not regret my decision at all. The food here is AMAZING. It’s labeled as «fast food» but it doesn’t taste like fast food at all. It’s fast in the sense that you don’t have to wait for a while to get it but other than that, it all tastes made to order(because it is!) I ordered the noodle soup with chicken thigh cutlets. The noodles themselves are a little bland but the broth was so flavorful. Try to let the broth soak into it. It’s well cooked and was so delicious and filling. As for the cutlet, it must have been rolled in Panko bread crumbs but it was so crunchy and the well seasoned. It was nice and well cooked as well. The décor is so nice as well. It could have been in a fancy bar in Manhattan. The service was so nice. All smiles all the time and they knew what they were doing. Now the only thing that makes me wonder is they’re always so empty. The food is great, it’s affordable, great décor and great service. It really should have more recognition. I am definitely coming back here! And I’m bringing along some friends next time!
