In one word: great! My wife and I came on a Saturday morning at 10:45AM from the Courtyard Marriott across the street. This little cart is hidden in the middle of a shopping promenade and doesn’t look to be anything spectacular at first. But, upon approach, the owner promptly greeted us and told us about her specials. We ordered 3 Savory Crepes, 1 Lunch Sandwich, 2 Coffees and 2 Latte’s– and she, on her own, filled our order within 10 minutes! Her attitude the whole time was friendly and kind– while her hands were busy at work. We even joked towards the end of our visit that we gave her so much trouble right in the morning and she simply replied: «If no one was here to order crepes, what would my purpose be??» Needless to say– that’s a woman who loves doing what she does. Food: Breakfast Plus Crêpe– I had the breakfast plus crêpe with chicken. Although it was slightly on the dry side– but it was because the whole crêpe was filled with tender chicken breast pieces and cheese. A little bit of ketchup on our end(next to the cart) would have topped this off nicely. Hawaiian Crêpe– My wife and I love the idea of putting pineapples and ham together with everything. So, when we saw this crêpe– we had no hesitations in ordering it right away. And just as we had anticipated– it was good! The pineapple pieces added a good acidic cut to the soft crêpe and cheese that had enveloped the fillings. Florentine Crêpe– We also ordered this for the mushrooms and spinach. I watched her prepare this particular crêpe. Her attention to detail with what foods go in what containers and how much or where to put the food showed her passion for crepes. The fillings were abundant– but once again, a little ketchup on our end would make this even better. Lunch Sandwich– We got the lunch sandwich for our sisters. It had turkey, swiss, spinach, tomatoes– minus the onions. Though the sandwich wasn’t the largest, but the flavors were on point as she used her crêpe pan skillet(is that what it’s called?) to first toast the bread and heat the turkey and cheese together. Overall– great little spot if you need to grab some food while shopping or in the area. The owner was definitely the highlight of the cart. A definite must come!

Hot, delicious and pretty quick! This visit was prompted by a offer. My Carl and I haven’t done the crêpe thing before and I thought it might make for a fun date night. So off to Emeryville we went! We let the guy in the cart know we had a coupon first. He said that the date of the coupon was before the sale of the business to new owners. But he’d call the owner and see what they said. The menu has changed too from what you see online with . So, check out the business website for a more updated version. Still, we were able to make custom crepes that mimicked the ones on the old menu. They did cost a couple of dollars more, but it was worth it. Nice guy in cart made a call, started cooking and got swamped by more customers. All in all, we were still served pretty darn quick. One at a time, we shared two custom and one dessert crêpe. And business owner came back with an okay to our coupon! I really appreciated Nice guy’s attitude. He didn’t say no at all during our conversation. He was totally about customer experience and wanting to be more than the average vendor. He easily could have said our coupon was not valid with the new ownership and we would have had to accept that. We could have returned our coupon to and we would have gotten a credit, but no hassle. No running around. Our crepes were delicious! It was a fun way to have a quick meal. The crepes were surprisingly big. Hot dogs are served here as well and you can get your chips, soda or a muffin fix too.

The reason I’m giving this place only one star is simply for service. Never got a chance to taste the food. My wife, son and friend showed up there at 7:32pm tonight. All the lights were on and the girl working was there typing on her cell phone. We ask to order something and was told they’re closed and all the appliances are shut down. I told her that Unilocal showed they’re open till 8pm. She just said they’re closed and we can’t order. As a business owner myself I felt that was really unacceptable. If you’re going to list being open till a specific time I figure I should be able to order till that time. Seemed like just a lazy employee. Never going back to this place again.

This is the cutest little place! The customer service is fantastic, and the older man that is usually there is so sweet! There is also this nice girl who is working there with him. The crepes only take about 10 minutes or less which goes by really fast! They have good options, and some drinks and chips too. The cart is tiny, but doesn’t effect the quality of the food at all! The crepes are delicious! I usually get one with ham, spinach, cheese, and tomatoes and it’s delicious! I would recommend that one, and definitely recommend this place!

Everytime I buy a new iPhone or get a new iMac I eat here! If you find grease on the demo iPads next time you visit the emeryville Apple store I am to blame! The crapes are good. Simple, not as good as Crepes-a-go-go(their batter could use improvement) but pretty decent for mall like food. They also have hot dogs, coffee, candy bars, and other stuff. I always just order a chicken, cheese, avocado crêpe. It’s my go-to order at any crêpe place. When in the area I suggest them, better than all the franchises…

The sweet crêpes are very good! You can’t go wrong with any of their Nutella crêpes! They also have happy hour where you can buy one get one ½ off! Yum! However, the service can be a real hit or miss. That being said, my main complaint is still that I have found the cart to be closed during operational hours.

Good service. Good tasty crepes. The location is hard to find using google map. I had to ask around to find this secret place.

Well let’s see now where do I start, just finished walking over to the CRAP cart for my 30 minute lunch break hoping to get something to eat and no one is there… Again. The level of professionalism is way below expectation for a business that operates on a high volume street with plenty of high end vendors and shopping guests. For the last few months(since they changed Managment) my coworkers and I have had countless bad interactions with the people that work there now. They play annoying loud rap music during business hours, never friendly or welcoming, the quality of the crepes have gone down but the prices have gone up. It’s really sad, they used to be our main place for snacks and quick lunches when it was the original owners. Now everyone in my work place, all 17 of us, resort to home packed lunches. Oh well.

The previous owner worked here with her husband. Now the girls that work it don’t all know the whole menu. It’s nice on weekends to have two people work, one for ringing and one for making the food. It seems like these girls who work in shifts aren’t as social and welcoming as the previous owner lady greeted everyone constantly and never turned her back for too long over the stove or whatever in the cart. I think there’s room for improvement in the friendly and welcoming social aspect not only from a customer service perspective but as a preventative measure in case of theft from the front of the cart. Other then that, today’s girl was pleasant and charming but a tad shy which made it hard to hear her when asking questions about possible orders. I’ll give 5 stars when things improve a teeny bit in the customer service realm.

Great service and delicious food! The coffee warmed me up on a chilly day and the Ghirardelli crêpe with strawberries was devine!

We went back today after having a positive first experience, unfortunately today was not the same. Our server was not able to so much as greet us with a smile because we were interrupting her time texting. We received our food which is delicious but our experience was sadly disappointing based on her service.

Great Crepes! Both sweet and savory. The breakfast crêpe is a good meal, especially the one with meat. Add Avocado and its gooey goodness. Sweet crepes are good too, if you like nutella and bananas that one is nice. Cant go wrong with just butter and sugar, Parisian style! Pro: Good value, great flavor. If you are the only one ordering, its fast. Crispy cheese! Con: can be slow if busy… not because they are slow, but because they hand make each crêpe to order on two crêpe burners, while dealing with the rude customer in front of you, etc… so in my mind its not really a con because you get a great crêpe made with love. but reel in your American fast food mentality and put yourself in Paris near a park. They are just as fast and just as good here in Emeryville as Paris. Worth the wait, even when busy.

Street vendors were friendly and easy-going. I ordered a hot dog and a banana nutella crêpe. The crepes do require a bit of time to make so I knew right off the bat that I need to order something that was ready-to-go. Don was a good observer, I was surprised that he gave me a paper plate, plastic knife, and fork with the crêpe since I didnt have any special request. He was thoughtful cause I had my little one with me and everything had to be bite size for her. The food was delicious. Definitely worth the wait.

Want a bite after a long day of shopping? Check out this cart by «G by Guess.» I got the Florentine crêpe with spinach, feta, cheddar, etc for $ 7. Cheddar? The melted crunchy cheese that line the top of the crêpe was a nice embellishment. The entire thing was light yet filling. The crêpe was wrapped in paper so you can easily walk and munch at the same time. It takes a few minutes to cook, so chill in one of those bistro table sets, sitting in the blustery wind that’s constantly present in that area.

Don’t let the looks of this small stand fool you. The crepes here are amazing. One thing I like about this place, is they don’t skimp out on the Nutella. They give an ample amount of Nutella and although the crepes are a little small, they are compact with goodness. This is my first time here and I would definitely come back. A must stop by if you’re in Emeryville.

I stopped by & got a grilled chicken crêpe. It was made to order & ready within 5 minutes, but I wasn’t that impressed with the crêpe quality. OK for a quick meal/snack. The stand has a couple of tables on the sidewalk for you to sit & eat at.

Chewy, fluffy crepes made with tons of love and care. I wish I could make crepes like these! The service was great and the woman inside was cheerful and engaging. I bought the banana and nutella crêpe, and it even came with a drizzle of nutellea and powdered sugar on top! I will definitely go back.

I was really craving something sweet after dinner with the bf, so when he went to the bathroom, I conveniently found myself in front of this perfectly located crêpe cart! So of course, I perused the menu and saw the very first crêpe: crêpe with butter, sugar, and cinnamon. The perfect dessert to top off my dinner! YUM I know, the toppings are simple. but it was just what I wanted! It seems to be owned by a husband and wife, who are very friendly. They have a wide variety of sweet and savory crepes, as well as coffee and other drinks. I didn’t find anything I wouldn’t find at any other crêpe place, but their service was excellent. So nice and cheerful A few minutes later, out came the bf with a surprised-but actually not so surprised-look. hehe.

Had only had a few bites off of my girlfriend’s chicken pesto crêpe one cool blistery weekend evening. I’d have to say it was fantastic. I’ll definitely get one for myself the next time I happen along by.

This simple and slightly hidden crêpe cart really adds to the abyss that is Bay St… Fortunately, too, they do both sweet and savory crepes: you can do the old fashioned traditional French Grand Marnier Crepes or some customized California barbarity like turkey, Avocado, cheese, bacon(a favorite). On their savory crepes, they place a bit of cheese on the top edges of the crepes which gives it this cheesy crunchy crust. I’ve never seen anywhere else do it like that, and I’m a complete convert to this method. brilliant.
