Ryan the sales staff/store manager was SUPER nice and extremely knowledgeable about the merchandise. I walked away with a new pair of Dropout’s. Super cool and great quality. I highly recommend Arnette Eyewear and the sales staff.

Dropped in here on a whim as I’d seen it a few weeks earlier and decided they should have a better selection than the local surf shops. After pulling the 5 month old kid out of the truck and walking to the front door I saw quite a selection through the window and was pleased. Unfortunately as I pulled on the door it was locked… within 5 seconds an Arnette employee next door jumped into action and opened up just for me… well, more likely the kid, but either way I was pleased. A quick look around with many styles to choose from I picked a great pair of shades and was on my way. I didn’t get the employees name but a young friendly guy that saved me the hassle of reloading the kid and starting over at another place is tops in my book. If you’re in the market for shades give them a try. Convenient downtown Encinitas location is a plus.

Total sunglass overload! Smack at the entry to Encinitas, this is a pretty cool spot to add to your casual Encinitas shopping adventures. It looks like they’re still setting a few things up, but for the most part, this place is stocked with a ton of shades and goggles as well as some hats and stickers. Ryan at the desk was ultra-helpful in helping me choose shades that fit my head. It’s super convenient to D Street, La Paloma and other local spots. The store is set back a little bit, but there are big Arnette flags outside by the parking lot. If you’re going south and passed D Street, you’ve gone too far. There’s a Street Fighter II game in there too, if you’re down with throwing down old school style.
