Had a blast. The clothes are hand picked by the owner who sees the surrounding styles to know what is hot and not currently. Family owned and wants to help the community. Found a sweet classic maxi dress that was well worth the budget price!
PROS:
— budget prices — yes there are some expensive items… but they should be when something is REAL leather or another fancy fabric. Everything else is worth the penny you are giving!
— friendly service — One owner who is super sweet and will give you an honest answer
— kid friendly — has kids clothes and a chalk wall which is fun for my children… :)
CONS:
— parking — yet, on the 101 in Encinitas, that’s what you get for AWESOMENESS!
Everyone who’s a woman or child or knows someone of that nature SHOULD at LEAST COME HAVE A LOOK! Who knows, you may find a few cool FINDS!
Call me up and I will go again!!!

Just found THE CUTEST skirt and plants at GRO. Wore them both this week and got compliments on both. I like funky ethnic yet artfully tasteful clothing. The vibe reminds me of Portland. Distinctive. Feels good to be supporting a good local merchant too.
Gro’s right across the street from the La Paloma Theater. I found parking around the corner. Nice walk that took me right by the yogurt shop. :-)

Such a unique store for kids & women’s clothing. But, I was pleasantly surprised to find many more unique gift items for birthday gifts I needed to buy. This place is a hidden gem in Encinitas. Bob, the owner was very helpful as well! Cool place; will be back soon!
