So I was blow away before I even entered this Better Buzz. 5 stars for décor and environment alone. I’m a big fan of this chain and have been to all the ones in San Diego. This one is North County tops them all appearance wise. It has an open floor plan, cozy, and very inviting. Got my favorite drink, the Mint Mojito iced coffee, with my little spin of a few shots of raspberry syrup. The ! The staff was super friendly and fun. I might be mistaken but it seemed like they had a wider variety of food too. Plus they had a couple of kabocha drinks on tap. Wish the ones closer to me looked this cool.

We loved this place, though neither of us are much for hipster vibes, fancy-schmanzy coffee drinks, or lines. The reason is the staff is so nice and enthusiastic and helpful, explaining what everything is. The decaf espresso here is amazing… and that’s kind of rare. When they open the glass front and the breeze lofts in, it’s pretty great. I’m going to have to come back for the avocado toast: it looked amazing.

Better Buzz is always my go-to coffee shop in San Diego. LOVE«the best drink ever» — it’s sweet, but literally the best drink ever for someone who isn’t so good at coffee like me. Not only coffee, but their toasts(esp avocado toast) is amazing. A little bit pricy for just an avocado toast(around 6 dollars) BUT it is worth a try!

This location beats every coffee place in San Diego. The Best Drink Ever with ½ vanilla lives up to its name. On top of that, the place is super cute! Every corner of this place is Instagram worthy. Also, the staff is very friendly and attentive. If you live in Encinitas or anywhere near by, you have to get your coffee here!

This place is the epitome of hipster — coffee, rustic community tables, terrariums, boxed water… I give Better Buzz Coffee in general 4 stars because although it’s a bit pricey, their drinks are made well and taste amazing. I give this location an extra star because it’s an actual café(as opposed to just those tiny Better Buzz drive-thrus that you see around San Diego), which was pretty cool. It was really clean and spacious. We ordered a BDE(«Best Drink Ever») and a matcha(green tea) latte to go. Got our drinks within minutes of ordering, and they both tasted heavenly. I always get the BDE but wanted to try something different, so I opted for the green tea latte. ITWASSOGOOD. I love green tea drinks that actually have that green tea flavor! Props to this location. I would visit again if I’m heading down the 5 freeway from the OC to SD. This café is located in a busy road in Encinitas, so parking might be difficult. They do have a small lot next to the entrance in the back though.

All I can say is thank goodness my boyfriend and I live SO close to this place. And why did it take us so long to actually step foot into this gem?! We’d walk or drive by here and see that there were people inside at all hours of the day, thinking«Hm, we need to check it out.» Anyway, it has a wonderful ambiance(feels like a hip LA coffee shop but tucked in slow-paced Encinitas), amazing coffee selection, and scrumptious avocado toast. When I come here, I order the Best Drink Ever(it’s what it’s called) and the Avocado Toast. It never disappoints. Maybe next time I’ll actually order something different… then again, probably not.

Totes adorbs! This newish coffee house is super cute! The coffee is fresh and good and it’s all homemade. They also have teas and some food. I ordered a nonfat dark latte, for my mom, a nonfat light roast latte. Both were delish! I also ordered a hearty avocado toast, which was yummy and filling. The décor inside is very cool, lots of earthy wooden tables and metal chairs and light fixtures makes that now very common, yet still really aesthetically pleasing, industrial chic meets modern farmhouse, a wonderful setting to sit and chat over a latte topped with a leaf artfully dribbled with steamed milk. Located in the busy area on 101 on «main street» Encinitas, Better Buzz is a great little location.

OMG cutest most adorable BESTCOFFEESHOPEVER! This place caught my eye about a week ago and ever since, I’ve been dying to drop in! I thought it was a BAR at first since its next to saloon but to my great surprise I saw they sell coffee! This is a great place to work from also, they’ve got free wifi, a nice open air vibe, lots of seating! And a gorgeous leather couch! And plenty of people watching! They also sell juice/smoothies!(Yay!) Acai bowls, of course coffee and sandwiches! The staff is really friendly, and I literally have to buy some merch. From the«get buzzed» hats to the super cute«joy» ceramic coffee mugs, I totally fell in love. You’ll probably catch me in there working and I’m totally stopping by again tomorrow. Check it out. Say hi

I LOVE this place! Such an amazing addition to Encinitas, but the only problem is that everyone else feels the same way. It’s usually crowded so parking can be tough, but they are still super fast to get orders out. FOOD/DRINK: They have a huge variety or coffee and espresso drinks here. Their lattes are delish and«the best drink ever» is SO good. It’s a little sweet so if you like more of a bitter coffee is might not be for you. The best food here is their avocado toast. It’s on thick bread and the avocado is always fresh. Everyone who works here is so nice and they always get the drinks and food out quickly. Also, the décor is really relaxed and it’s nice to come here with you computer and get some work done.

I had never been in a Better Buzz Coffee, but I had heard the buzz about their other locations. When they had arrived in Encinitas, I was buzzed. Oddly, when I first stepped in, I didn’t feel like I was in Encinitas or San Diego for that matter. This is not a bad thing, but I was taken somewhere else. Interior decorations alone was enough to transport me: I dig it. Where was I then? Some metropolis, no doubt. Bay Area? Apart from the décor, the place was abuzz. Plenty of places to sit and yet still maintain your personal space but still be amidst all of it to be the center of the storm. The open storefront is nice since once has full view of Coast Highway 101; perfect for people watching. Why not enjoy your surroundings with a cup of coffee? Thanks.

Obsessed with this place! My sister had been gushing about it for awhile, so I finally made a visit. Even better than I expected. After my first visit, I was so happy that I’ve come back almost every day to try new things on the menu. I make the drive all the way from San Marcos to go here… even when I don’t have other things to do in the area. The acai bowl and avocado toast are both yummy. I’ve tried all three smoothie flavors, and my favorite is the Moonlight Date, followed by the Pink Dragon smoothie. I would say the Conscious Chocolate smoothie is the least sweet out of all of them, and the flavor is more subtle. Such good vibes here. Stays pretty busy, but it adds to the lively and vibrant atmosphere. I love the décor, and the people who work here are really nice.

Beautiful décor. Looks like it should be in a magazine spread. Counter clerk was super nice. I ordered a Gibraltar and received a ristretto. When I asked the barista what it was, she said it was what they used for the Gibraltar(minus the cream and sweet). I then asked«2 oz?». She said, «yeah.» Then I said, «For a Gibraltar? 2 oz and no steamed dairy?» She said, «yeah.» The killer thing is that their espresso machine is super nice and legit. Bummer that their staff isn’t trained to a) know how to make the spectrum of coffee drinks; b) look up something on their tablet or phone to learn how to make it(like a bartender does). I just dumped out my coffee and went down to Ironsmith Coffee down the road and ordered a Cortado from them. It was fantastic.

The good: — both their Kenyan and their Costa Rican coffees are excellent — fabulous espresso machines(La Marzocco) — nice vibe, always people sitting inside and outside — open late(all the other coffee places around close at 6:00pm) The not so good: — service is way too slow. I was the only one in line and I had to wait for 12 minutes for a normal cappuccino — latte art somewhat poor. I don’t expect three hearts and 10 leaves but a little bit more love for the cup(no spilled milk, no overflowing cup) goes a long way — 4.25 $ for a non organic 8oz cappuccino is too much

First time coming in here for coffee, since we happened to be around having breakfast. I had to stop in and try it. There wasn’t too much of a line to wait. The drink menu is against the wall on the left. But also have small menus you can look at. I wasn’t sure what they had but ordered a hazelnut iced coffee, similar to macchiato, just can’t remember the name of it. Medium about $ 4 large is $ 5, its a specialty coffee. Almost all the seats were filled with people on their laptops. The drink was delicious and will definitely be coming back again!

OMG«Best Drink Ever» oh yes you definitely earned my five stars. Classic bold and smooth Americano with the added taste of vanilla make for yes the best drink ever. Oh my goodness was it delicious that I dared and went back in line for a second cup to go. Wow is all I can say about their coffee and my fellow baseball moms fell in love with the cold brewed coffee. I forgot the name of the pastry that I got but it was so so delicious and their avocado toast, yes Amazeballs… Wow everything we ordered was delicious and no it was not because we were in need of coffee and sweets after a long day of baseball, but seriously everything was good. The ambiance also hip and modern, the store very bright and well lit, with a cool relaxed vibe even though the places was beyond packed at 3:00pm, but who would resist not coming here. Plenty of space to sit get some work done on the laptop or simply put in some headphones and enjoy a good book. The service super welcoming with friendly baristas happily working hard getting all those drinks out, yes they deserve a lot of credit for cranking out those drinks in this super, delicious, and super cool coffee shop that was beyond busy. Yes definitely a place to visit if you’re in the area.

Been to the Better Buzz in San Marcos and in PB, so I was stoked they opened one in Encinitas! I’ve been wanting to go and got the chance to go the other night! This location is super cute! The other locations are tiny compared to this one! They’ve got super cute hats and stuff for sale as well. Best Drink Ever is my go to. But the other night, since it was 7 pm, I couldn’t drink caffeine, so I got a smoothie. It was delicious!

This is the newest coffee joint off the 101 in Encinitas and dang is it crowded, especially on weekends! Can’t quite give this place 5 stars as the waits are long and the ambiance is cluttered and LOUD. I will say that the product and service at this Better Buzz is absolutely awesome. This place has acai bowls, juices, smoothies, food, teas, pastries and of course coffee. Everything has been solid to the taste but I will say that«The best ever» drink on ice is absolutely delicious, especially on a hot summer dream. Overall, great new addition to Encinitas but be prepared to wait and speak loudly lol. Pros– Products Location Menu Coffee Layout Service Price Pet friendly Seating Cons– Really loud inside Long waits Limited outdoor seating

Bam! This may be rather busy during peek hours, but they sure know how to make some great coffees and eats, not to mention some scrumptious eats as well. Stopping on an early Saturday morning before the mad mid morning rush, I ordered, although not on the menu at this location, the Café au lait and the avocado toast on multi grain bread, topped with sweet cherry tomatoes, a sprinkling of fresh feta cheese, and a small side salad. First of all the Café au lait or coffee with milk was dynamite. The amount of hot milk was just right that it produce a light frothy semi sweet foam right on top, but just thin enough so that it did not interfere with the full flavored bold coffee underneath. The Café au lait did not come with any sugar and it did not need any. The coffee itself was very smooth and rich, and the natural flavor and sweetness of the hot milk provided a nice balance. The avocado toast was bliss. The avocado spread was abundant, quite fresh, and flavorful. The saltiness of the feta was paired perfectly with the milder Hass avocado. The cherry tomatoes provided a nice mild sweetness and acidity to the toast, and the multi grain toast was terrific. I thought it was keen that they offered a thick slice of toast with a very light toast. The bread was very moist and filled with a great high grain natural flavor. It was the perfect vessel for this avocado toast. The young ladies who made my Café au lait and avocado toast were great. Like I said earlier, the place gets very busy, I’m talking lines to the door, during peek hours, so plan accordingly.

A very locally supported welcome to Better Buzz on MainStreet in Encinitas has been going on since they opened last week. I was there on the first day, and a couple times since and it was a 5 star experience from day one, even when they were working out the kinks! The product is fantastic. You’ll find all your favorite coffee drinks, plus cold brew on tap, smoothies and some bites as well. Fresh pastries, sandwiches, etc — the couple I’ve had were yummy indeed. The décor is adorable too — a mix of cute and industrial. Warm woods, including a large table with the word Community carved into it which speaks volumes of their intent. A few touches of sea-green throughout, with the mugs and espresso machine make it a balanced look over all. The internet is free for those who are drinking and eating onsite and decently fast. There isn’t a ton of seating as it’s super busy but if you catch a break — the«hanging» two top tables along the wall have plugs under a few of them. Succulents, service — this new coffee shop has it all.
