I felt that the service I received was particularly friendly and professional. I didn’t catch his name, but my server extended every courtesy. He brought my food right to me, he asked if I needed anything, he checked if he could bring me a refill, he asked how my food was, and he thanked me as I left. I feel like he genuinely cared. I’ve never seen that kind of service at a fast food restaurant. They have Power Aid in the soda dispensers, which is a real plus if you’re a little hung over… I mixed in a little sprite.

The people and service at this Burger King location are the best! Everyone is helpful, friendly and always make you feel welcome. The restaurant is clean and you almost always see someone cleaning inside and outside. Hugo and Lore helped me on my last visit and they are great! It is always nice to return and know they recognize me as a customer. Thanks for doing such a great job!

This place always has the best service. I know that’s weird to say for fast food, but it does. They are so nice and offer me coupons or free cones for the kids every time I drive thru. Amazing!

They advertise a 10 piece nuggets on their board and they say that it is not available. Then update your menu! Ended up ordering their chicken fries and they were over cooked and dry. Horrible

Place sucks, worse service ever, should be shut down, the chicken sandwhich was burnt, charged me extra for fries after telling the manager the sandwhich was burnt! Mice were running around, trash on the ground, not nice too customers… Stay away. I warn everyone don’t go here, worse food n service, disgusting, and the people who work there are dumb. I think this place needs to shut down!!! Like ASAP! Food is gross, maybe might be some hair in the burgers too or worms! No stars on here… badddddddd place!

Fast. It’s located next to my work so it makes for a convenient lunch spot. They are always fast and efficient and they’ve yet to get my order wrong. Relatively inexpensive and always have coupons. Definitely love that their fries are always hot and fresh!

So my son was going from cross country practice to class at our church. He was super hungry after practice so I was going to grab something quick at a drive thru. Key word here is QUICK! There was a line from the window back to the speaker. Typical drive thru wouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to clear that. However, we sat by the speaker and continued to sit by the speaker for another few minutes. I looked down at the clock in the car and his class was going to start in two minutes. The church is just around the corner, so it was still manageable. Unfortunately, we sat for another 3 – 5 minutes in the same spot. Well we moved up as one car drove off, but that seemed to take about another three minutes. We were now officially going to be late. You don’t want to be late for a class at your church. Eventually, we moved up again. This transaction with the next car went pretty quick. So I was hopeful that we’d pull up, pay for our food, be handed out bag and be off. DIDNTHAPPENTHATWAY. Pulled up, gave them the cash and got a drink then just sat… And sat… C’mon now! This is the drive thru, not the drive and stop! We heard the window cashier talking to the kitchen staff saying«I need this burger first». He then was overheard saying we need fries. A response coming from the back was, «There’s no fries?» The cashier finally came back with a bag containing my sons burger. He then said the fries are still coming, could you pull up to the parking spot just in front of the store and I’ll deliver the fries to you. They’re not ready yet. Really!!! It was now close to 10 after the hour and we had been waiting about a total of 15 — 20 or more minutes in the drive thru. The cashier was apologetic and seemed to be doing what he could to help expedite the process. However, it wasn’t happening. The cashier asked what he could provide me to help make up for the delay. While I appreciate the attempt, I wasn’t thinking about getting more food at the time, but rather just getting my son off to his class. He then offered to give me something else and refund the difference. Sure, whatever. He then came back with some change followed by a manager who asked for my name. She offered a free order of fries on my next visit. Good thing she got just my first name and not my last. Didn’t look like she even wrote anything down. Um, I don’t come here often… After this, probably not for a real long time! Keep on Unilocal’n!

Today I got medium onion rings, and the Parmesan burger. From a coin star I had a 15 dollar gift receipt to Burger King, I used it and they had never seen it before but the manager figured it out right away, they were sooo nice and just for waiting for them to figure it out I got bumped up to large onion rings! The other Burger King in Oceanside did not accept my coin star receipt and I got pissed but this place figured it out!!! Yay thank you!

Let’s talk fries… Here’s what they gotta be for me: — Hot(serve me cold fries and I’ll cut you) — Thick(er) — Long(ahem) — Crunchy — Lightly salted — Fast IMHO, Burger King’s fries are The Bomb! Very damn good for something that I can get in under 3 minutes! I usually go to this location when I’m pressed for time. I can grab a veggie burger(special request), grilled chicken sandwich, and my beloved fries and I’m on my way! Salads are decent too. I usually skip the dressing that comes with it and ask for a wedge of lemon instead. The people who work here have always been friendly and helpful. I mean, here’s the deal… I really try not to dog fast food workers. It’s a thankless job and people can be super mean to those working behind a counter. Decades ago when I got a divorce I was actually all set to manage a burger joint. I certainly could have made more money doing human trafficking, but this was an honest job with honest pay, so there! What I don’t like about this location are the digital plasma screen menus. They’re confusing to read and don’t list all of the items available to order. Sure I know that they’re meant to «push» the meal deals and certain special items, but it would be nice just to have a simple list of everything available. Driving outside can also be a pain with cars speeding down the hill to make the signal light just as you are pulling out of the parking lot. Remember to look both ways, signal, and drive carefully after you pick up your order here!

Home of the Whopper, baby! I worked here many years ago as a late-teen/early 20-something. This place has changed a lot(for the better) since then! As a customer, I hadn’t been at this location for a very long time either, so I decided to come in after 9 pm for a late dinner. I wanted to see how the night shift performed! Turns out that they did all right. The place was very clean. The décor was simplified, subdued, and much improved over the pink/pastel décor of the mid/late-‘90s. The fake plants that separated some booths are thankfully gone. The wall that binds the central booths is much lower and devoid of the tacky fake plants as well. Some years ago, somebody finally got smart and put two customer soda fountains against the far wall next to the counter. When I worked here, I remember when customers had to go to the counter to ask for refills. Not only did this crowd up the counter on both sides and demand more from the employees(especially during rushes), it really annoyed and inconvenienced the customers. There were three other customers inside and some in the drive thru when I came in tonight. The cashier promptly took my order(a standard #1 combo) and I waited several minutes because there was some business in the drive thru. I also knew there were only about two or three employees(plus the manager), so I wasn’t expecting lightning quick service. Ironically, daytime service during a rush can actually be faster than nighttime because there are many more employees working during the day shifts. The Whopper was pretty good. It seemed pretty fresh and hadn’t sogged up for being in the steamer(where the burgers get stored when they come off the grill) too long. The fries were fairly fresh too, if a bit salty, but that’s how they all are at BK, I guess. They weren’t dried out or over-crispy like they could be sometimes during the later hours at night. It’s been a while, but the fries seemed a lot thicker than they were in the past, too. The medium box was smaller from what I remember. There was no more Barq’s, but the Dr. Pepper was good to go. In any case, the night shift did well. The«glass room» is still present, for whatever reasons I don’t know. It used to have a TV(a cathode ray type) with a built-in VCR player! Nope, no DVD player! I guess it was supposed to be a kiddie«entertainment room.» I always thought it was an extremely awkward arrangement, especially now since there’s no TV. There’s outside seating now, and it’s clean and gated(you have to enter from the back door of the restaurant). I remember when there used to be a playground from 1995 to 2000 or so. I remember meeting a guy picketing the store who claimed he designed the playground and said it was unsafe! It was a mixed bag at best. At the time, BK was apparently trying to broaden its appeal toward families and kids, and while the playground may have done that to an extent, it was a real hassle for everybody concerned. The playground was virtually never cleaned(I’m referring to its inside), if ever. Plastic balls were constantly pouring out onto the pavement, increasing the probabilities of trip-and-fall incidents. Overage/oversize kids and teenagers were constantly going inside and causing problems. I and others were always having to kick them out. The managers(and parents) often had to threaten to call the police. Just keeping up the outside, with spills, trash, urine, and plastic balls was taxing enough. One night, when I first started working here, I told a 6th grade kid numerous times he had to get out of the playground. He finally came out and started arguing with me. He then turned around to head back in! I grabbed his arm, holding him back. He turned around and said, «Don’t touch me.» I told him if he had listened to me the first time, I wouldn’t have. He didn’t go back in. His mom got on my case, but I held my ground(and my tongue). Yeah, go ahead and sue me and BK! Your near-adolescent kid was violating rules about a playground intended for kindergardeners and little grade schoolers. Your ass would’ve been sued right back. So the playground finally went away, probably from one too many lawsuits(take it from me!). It must have been a big magnet for them. I say good riddance. Let BK draw in the young ‘uns with toy/media promos, but nothing else. I learned that a core demographic for BK are 18 to 30-something males. I remember MANY years ago when I was a little kid when this place had a rustic, Old West theme. BK is just not a «kiddie» type of place. I didn’t see any sign of that silly«mascot» king, either. He can stay away from my BK just like that goofy lawsuit magnet of a playground. I don’t eat fast food very often anymore, but this BK is good for a blue moon treat. I remember working here when mystery shoppers would evaluate the joint and such. I say they’re all but obsolete. Look out, BK! We’ve got Unilocal to contend with now!

It’s fast food, so I can’t really give a five star review. For the quality of the food, the highest rating I could’ve given was a 4 star, and that’s pushing it already. The service workers here need to listen more to their customers. The customer ahead of me asked for ketchup and never got any. When I went just now to order a drink, I didn’t receive a straw(drive thru). Had to ask, after which the attendant went back away and came back and forgot that I needed a straw. Lame… The specificity and repetition required at this chain store is ridiculous. Coming back? Maybe. Frequently? No.

I go here now and then for breakfast; the biscuit sandwiches, tater tots, and Diet Coke are acceptable. Not sure if there’s really a point to reviewing places like this, but I check in here with my phone, so it asked me to do a review. There you go.

BK has two good promo’s going on, Chicken Sandwich Monday and Whopper Wednesday where you get the combo with fries and a drink for 2.99. They have a ketchup pump which is nice but I swear their soda mixture always tastes off, like it’s watered down. Been to a few BK’s that seem to have this problem.
