Local pizza place on 101 that’s been there for yeeeeears! I have ordered here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The people there are super nice and really take care of you. I love getting the giant size when my family from out of the country visits just to see their reaction to how huge the pizza is. It’s a priceless moment :)

This is a hole in the whole pizza joint with the most personable guys working behind the counter. One of the main reasons I return to a place is counted on by what type of people work there. This place is a gem in that regard. You can order whole pizzas or by the slice. You start off with a slice of cheese pizza for $ 2.50 and every topping you add after that is $ 1.00. I think I’ll stick to just the cheese pizza next time – I definitely didn’t get a dollar worth of pepperonis on my slice. They also have all kinds of other things on the menus from pastas to sandwiches. I have my eye on a meatball sandwich for next time. This would be a great place to order from if you’re having a party. They make ginormous pizzas! Beware: the pizza slices are HUGE. :D

Very nice and friendly staff. The pizza was amazing. We ordered the giant pizza half veggie and half cheese between 8 people. The pizza came out hot from the oven and it was delicious! The crust was thin and the toppings were fresh.

This is our favorite pizza place! It’s not fancy — just simple and delicious. We used to live down the street and now we live a few miles away but still go out of our way to eat here. The people who own and operate this place are incredibly friendly and the price is fair. Honestly the cheese or simply pepperoni are the best. And the giant pizzas are great for big groups.

This place is my favorite! I come here whenever I happen nearby! I’m obsessed with the pizza! I personally think it’s more on the costly side, but only by a few bucks. This place is outstanding!

This is possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had, and it’s really overpriced. The crust was really thick and taste horrible. The sauce was tasteless as well. Go to East Coast in Cardiff if you want something decent. Or go to Costco, even theirs is better.

Raymond A is CRAZY! We order this pizza every Saturday and I speak for all of us at the shop. We love it!(or we wouldn’t order every Saturday!) The Jumbo is more than enough to feed 6 hungry people and we always end up with a couple slices left over. Hint… get it «square cut»… The Pizza is good and the people are great!

You want real thin slice pizza with all the taste and not in NY… This is the place! Real neighborhoods vibe, not a fancy sit down dinner place … but then pizza was never meant to be that. Awesome pie and get this… They deliver to the beach! YES! Where else can you get that AND a great pizza, not to mention that the«giant» truly is giant! I’ve been all over the world and those of you who know… a good pizza is hard to find, if you are in Encinitas look no further. I give it five starts because of the taste the pie and people.

Unassuming pizza shop, which is just what we wanted.(Who needs truffle popcorn or fancy salads?) We got a 14″ pizza(thank goodness we didn’t have to get a giant pizza – they were humongous!!) and demolished it. We got the veggie, which was just loaded. We substituted the evil bell peppers with artichokes. So many veggies, they were falling off. Good crust, good sauce, good price. We highly recommend.

Stopped by on the way home to AZ. Authentic NY dough may just make the crust the best part! Fast, friendly, and if you swing by just before sundown, you can walk right to the end of the street there and enjoy a BEAUTIFUL sunset view over Moonlight Beach.

While vacationing at a nearby condo, I chose this place for take-out one night when we had nothing planned for dinner but were feeling hungry. We had the New Yorker and a large antipasto salad. The prices were not cheap, but it was an excellent value. The pizza was good. It had enough toppings and the crust was crispy. For about $ 30, the portions were large enough to provide two meals and a snack for my boyfriend and me – and we like to eat! However, what really made this place worthwhile for me were the salad and the service. The antipasto salad was delicious. The lettuce was crisp, the veggies fresh, and the toppings ample. There was more than enough Italian vinaigrette, and it was provided on the side so it didn’t make the salad soggy. As with the pizza, the large salad served the two of us for two meals. The service was also very good. I showed up to pick up my order shortly after 9:00 p.m. on a Thursday. I had mis-read the website and thought they closed at 10:00 – their weekend closing time. My pizza was hot. My salad was chilled. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I discovered later that they had called me while I was driving over(I had left my cell phone at the condo.), but at the time, no one even hinted that I had inconvenienced them. I really appreciate the fact that they stayed open a few extra minutes to help me out.

The slices here were not good at all. Sauce is über bland, they barely even cook the toppings, i’d only go here again to pick up a full pizza but then again the sauce was so bland that I’d really never touch this place again… eva… ever ever… neva eva… ever… really, skip it.

dude!!! this place is amazing! the pizza is made fresh right when you order… even the dough. it’s priced pretty well for how much they give you. the portions are huge and the quality is beyond great. and on top of the pizza being amazing, the customer service is crazy good. they are all so friendly and very hard workers. I’m definitely coming back!

This place has never let me down with a good slice of cheese pizza. I ALWAYS choose to go here on one of my cheat days. Every time I ask for my chicken Parmesan to be a little crispy they always get it perfect… which is RARE. Great People. Great Atmosphere. Great Food.

Meh… I felt this place was overpriced for a slice of pizza. Nearly $ 5! It’s $ 2.50 for the basic cheese and $ 0.60 or $ 1 for toppings. I added Canadian bacon and eggplant. The topping were not melted in with the Cheese so it slipping off. The crust is very crispy on the bottom but the overall taste was meh… Bronx or Regents pizza is much better!

Lives up to its name. The pizza is huge! In fact, the largest pie wouldn’t even fit through my front door. It’s my go-to joint when I want no-nonsense pizza and when my family and friends are in from out of town. With the growing number of specialty pizza places popping up, sometimes you’ve just gotta keep it real and get a giant greasy pizza from a place you trust. Nobody got time for pretentious pies with ingredients you’ve never heard of! There’s one guy who’s always super gracious and thankful for our business when we come in – I assume he’s the manager or owner. Great dude. The only reason for the one star bump is because of their funky tasting sausage(so many jokes…) which is my favorite topping. I also think it’s slightly pricey… but that could just be me being cheap. A word of caution: Don’t be silly and mistakenly order from Giant New York Pizza in Encinitas like I did one time. I actually had to call them back and cancel my order once which was super embarrassing. Manhattan got a kick out of it though when I went in to pick up my non-existent pizza. D’oh!

Giant pizza is no lie — This is the largest slice of pizza I’ve ever had in my life at around 10 to 12 inches long(that’s what she said). While you can order by the slice or the pie, we ended up getting one of their combo deals that include a drink and wings(other options include salad, garlic cheese bread etc.). The wings were terrible. They were squishy and gross. I only ate one of mine, and threw the rest away. I do not recommend the wings at all. The«ranch» dressing that was served with it was also off, although I cannot pin point the reason. Maybe too much dill. The restaraunt itself is nothing to write about, but I will anyway. It’s small, maybe seating for 5 groups. It’s more of a pick up/delivery place than a sit down place. The staff was friendly, and appears to be run by a family. It had that vibe.
