Oggi’s Sports I Brewhouse I Pizza

I absolutely love the staff at Oggis! Their managers, the employees and the owners are great! I really appreciate the laid back atmosphere, when there’s a game on even better! The food is always what I’m craving and again, the staff is amazing! Thank you guys, I love you!

Good food, good service and great beers… I would come back again with family and friends!!!

So many people have raved about this place. I happened to be in the area for work so I thought I would give it a try. The place looks nice. Definitely has the feel of a sports bar. They have a lot of lunch specials and a pretty expansive menu (if you are worried about this just being a pizza place). If it didn’t take soooooooo long to get my food I may have given it a better review. I got a lunch pizza. I forget what it was called, but it had no sauce, cheese, bacon, lettuce and ranch. I wish I had gotten something different. Although it was good, it wasn’t as satisfying as I had hoped. I guess that is what you get when you are trying to be healthy and eat a pizza with lettuce on it… That makes it more of a salad right???

The pizza is actually not too bad. The price is fair and every time I’ve gone there I’ve gotten a seat. Not like that Buffalo Wild Wings joke. There the food is bad and always packed.

Came to Oggie’s tonight, on a random detour. I was impressed from the time I walked in the door, to the time I left! Garrett, the bartender was warm, smily, & welcoming! The pizza was delicious & filling. You can request thick or thin crust. The ranch dressing (which I always request a side of to taste) was so yummy & home made. The Large 2 topping pizza was 50% off tonight, the Wednesday night special. Draft beers were $ 5! I recommend this spot. Sit at the bar if you are single or on a date, because the restaurant is like Chuck E Cheese.

So, we go to Oggi’s about twice per month. The pizza is always delicious. But, the service is usually spotty.
Tonight, we went with some friends who also have 2 kids under 4 years old. As you may know, this demographic isn’t known for their patience. But, even for us, the service was extremely slow.
We were seated at a long table right smack dab in the middle of the restaurant facing the front door. After 10 minutes without anyone greeting us or taking our drink order, I went up to the hostess to ask her to send a server over. She went to the back and got our waitress (Samantha C). We ordered our drinks and food together because we had been sitting there so long and bedtime was approaching.
I ordered a gin and tonic, but was never asked what kind of gin I wanted. It was definitely rail.
The kids’ food came out 5 minutes before our food. When our pizzas came out, the order was wrong, but it wasn’t worth saying anything (forgot a topping). After my friend got her salad, they said they were out of the salad dressing she requested and she had to pick a new one. The pizzas were good as usual. The kids’ drinks came out half way through the meal. We were never offered refills on our drinks and the waters we requested never arrived. We requested to-​go boxes before we left, and the server offered to package it up for us (nice). We told her what food was going where and she messed it up. Overall, it was an epic fail from the service perspective.
Since we go there twice per month, usually on Sundays, admittedly we’ll be back. But we’ll definitely look to sit in another section where we know the server will be on it.

Host was very personable. Waiter was just barely okay; not personable, not on top of it, and very slow to respond. Example: my mom’s fish and chips dinner was served without tartar sauce; not a crime… just an oversight. But, he delivered the meal and bolted without an opportunity to ask for anything. When he returned she requested tartar sauce. He said «of course», but after more than 10 minutes, when he brought my meal (don’t get me started), he was asked again and said «of course» and then Houdinied out of the area for another 7 – 8 minutes before, ta da, reappearing with tartar sauce.
I had the individual Wimbledon pizza, which took a while and as mentioned was served significantly after the other meals, but was very good.
The door to the ladies room looks grimy and could use some cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.
Tons of televisions throughout… and a loud environment, as one would expect.
Note to self… don’t wear your Denver Broncos clothing in to a San Diego area restaurant after your team has just clobbered The Chargers.

The pizza is good but the service is just okay. They do take forever. It’s like this location is too cool. Man, who ever owns this needs to read all of these reviews. It’s hurting the Oggis brand. Guess they don’t care so we decided to take business elsewhere. Pizza is too expensive for this experience.

The service sucks; like the pizza and convenience but something needs to be done to improve service. It was ten minutes before our uninterested waiter showed up. I asked if we could order drinks? Duh! Then took forever to get drinks, longer to have food order taken. When we asked for more napkins and silverware, he said yes but never returned. Never checked back on food, no one picked up dirty dishes and then we waited ten minutes for children’s ice cream and forever for the check. Perhaps if they turn down the volume on the four hundred TV’s they could hear the customers complain. ..

Went in to Oggis for lunch. My lunch came out nicely and on time. My Husband wasn’t so lucky. First beer done the really good chicken wings came out. Second beer, done… glass of water… done…hmmm, where is the order. Finally, after 34 min… his lunch is out. Looks good, tastes good… he’s happy. I’m happy with mine too. The waitress, did not come around to inquire about anything. Would I go again, yes. Thanks.

Got to-​go the other day, first time in a while, my pizza and garlic knots were SO flour-​y it made everything taste bad. Like seriously my hands looked like I had done white drugs or something after picking up the pizza slice. What’s up with all the flour? Bummed on the wasted $ 40.

We go to Oggi’s once per month for our «meeting after the meeting» … They do a great job! Sculpin on tap, wings and pizza … Oggi’s never disappoints! Great food, great service … Always a great time!

Their Cobb salad is on point. Full of all the fixings and enough for left overs they even throw in freshly made garlic rolls. Their service is a lil slow it can take up to 30 minutes even for a salad, but that might be cause their whipping up fresh rolls. I had an incident a while back with a delivery order (they forgot dressing and rolls), but the manager promptly contacted me and offered me another fresh salad on the house to make up which was very diplomatic and has kept me a loyal customer.

Pizza is great. They use the freshest ingredients. The crust is thick but somehow still light in texture, with great flavor. On this trip my husband and I ordered the sort of… everything pizza, meat, veggies, more meat, vegi’s, you name it… I swear I could have just eaten just the toppings, so darn good! Our service was a little slow but it was made up for by a very friendly waitress tending to our needs. This Oggi’s is huge, plenty of room for large groups. It is located right off the 5 freeway, convenient when passing thru the area.

Still very slow service. It’s so weird. Do they read their Unilocal reviews ?

Provide the best service ever. It’s that simple.

Hadn’t been here in awhile so thought I’d give it another try. They were out of the beer I wanted, which was a bummer. Ordered the chicken Cesar salad. One of the worst salads I’ve had. Bone dry chicken. Barely any of the gross dressing, little to no cheese. Totally flavorless. I mean, how hard is it to make a Cesar salad? It really shouldn’t even be on the menu.
Slow service. Overpriced. Overall, not a good experience. I won’t be back.

Being a huge fan for many of other Oggi’s locations, my family stopped here for dinner tonight… we had nothing short of an absolutely terrible experience tonight at Oggi’s in Encinitas. I could go on and on, but here are the highlights of our dinner:
— Our Server: It was 15 minutes before we even saw him for the first time. He NEVER asked us if we needed anything, not even once. He was TERRIBLE. He didn’t greet us, didn’t say goodbye, he had absolutely no customer service.
— Drinks: Water was served lukewarm and poured with no ice. It was never refilled until I asked halfway through dinner. My mom’s iced tea was never refilled until my father flagged down the server. Why would we order beer if they can’t even get a glass of water right?
— Food: Everything came out at different times. Even worse is that we were never given utensils until after the pizza got cold! He dropped the food and ran before we could even ask for utensils. My salad came (warm and wilted, by the way) and I had to wait 10 minutes for a fork. My dad’s burger came out 10 minutes after everything else.
— Bathrooms: On the way out, I decided to stop in the ladies room (BIG mistake). The ground was covered with paper towels, the stalls had no toilet paper, and (this is the kicker) there was green VOMIT in the sink! Yes, for real. I should have taken a picture to post on here, but I literally went running.
— Manager: High-​fiving his workers and screwing around behind the bar. He had no care at all what was going on in his restaurant.
Don’t eat at this location. What a shame that we spent our
hard earned money here just to leave completely frustrated and upset. Close down this location!

Went with our two kids and husband. Service was slow, my husband ordered a beer which never came, after reminding waitress 2 times he finally went up to the bar and ordered it himself. Waitress comes by the table (mind you without his beer) see’s he had one and gets upset and tells my husband she already ordered him one. We tell her to cancel it and she gets an attitude. We are both in the service industry and were appalled. I would of apologized to my customer that I had forgotten to bring the item instead of getting an attitude! We all not be back. As we were walking out the hostess was giggling with another employee both were in their own little world’s, didn’t acknowledge us. We work to hard to spend our money at a place with such poor service.
Its such a bummer because ogis has great food!

Oh man… Where do I start. Service couldn’t be slower. We’ve been waiting for our bill to come for well over 35 minutes. Our Appetizer came out with our food after 45 minutes of waiting. The restaurant isn’t even busy. The waiter was sure nice and attentive once he got the bill!

We are extremely happy they have Attack From Mars pinball! It’s in good working condition too, which is rare.
My drink was cheap and strong… we didn’t eat anything here and just ordered at the bar, so I can’t speak to the service. Seems like it’s better to come here for drinks.
