The Small Mall

Blink and you’ll miss it.
It’s one of the original strip malls in Encinitas being over several decades old. Its tenant mix supports that legacy: Encinitas Coin and Jewelry (a jewelry store), Encinitas Barbers (old school barber shop, non-​hipster variety), Book Tales (a loving bookstore), Antiques Sterlingware and Investments (collector’s items), and Thrifty Threads (a second hand clothing store).

This mall is adequately named as there are only 5 stores in the corner shopping center. It is old and sports that weathered look, however it is one of the last remaining original structures left in Historic Downtown Encinitas so it gets cool status from me.
I can name all of the shops for obvious reasons: Thrifty Threads, Book Tales, Encinitas Barbers (and this place is definitely an original), Encinitas Coin & Jewelry, Antiques, Sterlingware & Investments, (good for repair and collectors).
It appears that you can do it all here but maybe not in grand style.
