Just moved to this part of town and I will definitely be a regular here. Very fair prices for good asian food. Service is great. Food quality is a step above sushi stop with a more detailed menu. Spicy pork bowl was delicious and for only 6 bucks you can’t beat it. Had a piece of Albacore and yellowtail sushi and they were solid as well. Couple pieces of sushi and a bowl for under $ 12. See you again soon.

Definitely my favorite sushi spot in the Valley. Maybe cause its so close to my house! But the food is amazing. The service is fast. The servers are friendly. Plus its never packed! The prices are not as high as other sushi spots even though its on Ventura Blvd. I always order the Poke Bowl and Alaska Roll. And also a few of the many appetizers they have. I’ve tried most of it and its gooooood! Sorry writing this on a full stomach on the way home.

I always used to come here, and just came back today to have some sushi with my little brothers. I noticed the place was nearly empty. The waitress(I think she was the manager, which if that’s the case should keep herself to a higher standard) was very rude and not friendly. I would say thank you, to make sure she knew I was grateful for her service. When I asked her for a second spicy mayo, she told me she would have to charge me… Which then I responded that I had ordered 10 rolls. And that there was three of us eating. And then rudely complied that she would bring me another. Don’t be cheap, and respect patrons who have been repeatedly giving you business.

Been coming here from way back when it used to be the sushi-stop. I can eat like a fucking pig for $ 40 bux and have enough leftovers for the next morning for me and my dog. Even when I come with a second person I spend no more than $ 100 with leftovers, dessert, and 18% tip. They used to play stuff like Asobi Seksu and other J-pop but they stopped,(why?) It’s so much better than the shitty American radio hits you play now. Service ranges from good to excellent depending on who serves you(thin dude with glasses is the best server in the restaurant) and they usually have an MLB or NBA game on the tele which I like.

Sushi is OK(I’ve had better), but it’s relatively expensive so I can get lunch for under $ 10 which is awesome. Quick service. Decent food. A-OK to me!

I was a big supporter of this place up until one minute ago. I called for a take out order at 10PM, knowing they closed thirty minutes later, at 10:30. But when I called, Kim told me that the kitchen closes at 10:00, and lights out, everybody out at 10:30z If the kitchen closes at 10:00, they stop seating people at 10:00, and they don’t take orders after 10:00, the hours should be posted as open until 10:00. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this restaurant. One of my biggest pet peeves is to be honest about business practices and Dancing Wasabi is not doing that. How upsetting, when a regular customer tries to make an order– DURINGBUSINESSHOURS– and I can’t even do that.

What they lack in taste — they make up in quantity … Their sushi are the biggest I’ve ever eaten and are quite fresh and tasty ! I love this place and not only for the good sushi and big portions but also for the good service — we never wait more than give my minutes ! Prices are reasonable as well — not cheap but reasonable for the amount of fish you’re getting — definitely a good deal ! Now if only they had«all you can eat» — I’d come there every night :)

Completely remodeled the joint looks great! Sue she still a little bit cheap though. Totally a place to try, and I still go there all the time! I’m altering this. So this place renovated but everyone that works here is shit. Good food tho.

This little place is great love their udon soup, crab mozzarella and their little $ 4 rolls are great. Only complaint is their weird hours. They’re closed from 3 – 6 or something like that. I’ve showed up here twice and had to leave so annoying!

Came here for lunch today and really liked it. There was tons of seating and this place wasn’t busy at all(Saturday at 1:30pm ish) I had the salmon salad and one of their rolls(think it was the crazy roll) prices were great and everything was tasty. I’d like to come again to try more of their rolls and the location is great!

Best sushi in the valley by far. I visited for the first time a week ago and have already been back twice. I reeeeeally like sushi, okay? Never too crowded and get a table right away. Huge selection, and extremely reasonable prices for the portion sizes. The place is nicely lit, which sets a great mood. So far I have tried the pepper seared sashimi, the sashimi combo platter, the salmon sashimi a la carte(melts like butter in your mouth), spicy tuna, eel avocado and the Philadelphia roll. All were excellent. However, not too impressed with the Philly roll… the cream cheese was super weird. Usually it is supposed to just melt in your mouth to compliment the texture of the avocado… but it was cakey and dry and kind of ruined the whole roll. But no complaints with anything else. The eel avocado was SUPERB! We got an entire table of sushi and sashimi(about 8 plates total) for only $ 60. Impressive. Great place, highly recommend! Will be going back for lunch today. :D

First time coming here last week. As soon as you walk in, the hostess asks you to write your name on a wait list. When we went there it was not packed at all so we only ended up waiting less than 10 minutes. Looks like this place just got renovated and their interior décor has that modern vibe. We ended up ordering their DW Sushi, Spicy Scallop Roll and Rose Roll. All tasted good and their prices are a little cheaper than other sushi restaurants. Why only 4 stars? I think their staff should be more attentive to their customers’ needs [we had to flag them down just to refill our water] and the hostess was a little rude when she was taking our order. We had questions prior but she just told us to mark our orders on the paper. If you’re in the area and do not like waiting, this place is for you.

I came here with my boyfriend and his friend and the food was delicious, we got seated right away. You have the option of sitting at the bar or sitting at a table. The tiger roll was delicious, to die for. It wasn’t busy when we came but then again we came on a Monday it might be busier on a Friday or the weekend.

****honest review*** Ok I’m not gonna lie, completely honest. Service is decent, somewhat not polite. Place is small but good size. Sushi chef(owner) amazing guy and super nice. Food is amazing and the price is even better. Must come back. Fish is fresh and amazing. Great spot

Prices on sushi is what I come here for. The quality of the sushi is the most important part. I feel like their quality is not great, but decent enough for it to be edible and tasty. I usually come here and tend to order as much as an AYCE. I am not a fan of their sashimi, but I believe they are generous when it comes to their slices. They have been renovating many times in the past, at least three times from when I could remember. They have a good Teriyaki Bowl that keeps you fulfilling if you are a quantity type of person.

Came here with a friend who said the prices are nice. Honestly there are some that the prices are really good, the rest are like other sushi places . The food we ordered were pretty good so there’s nothing to complain about. Gotta try it out again though.

This place has renovated for the better! It’s always great to have a sushi restaurant walking distance from your workplace. I used to come here to grab a quick lunch and they used to be «okay». They recently renovated and modified their menu and it will not disappoint. Their Rose roll is yummy! Ingredients are fresh and they’re not stingy on the serving size =D

Not bad for lunch. If you’re on a lunch budget, this place is great. While waiting for my food I saw a couple of people come in to pic up teriyaki chicken bowls. For just under $ 4 it’s a good way to stay on budget if you’re on one. I had a spicy pork bowl for a little under $ 5. It was pretty good. The sushi rice was a bit hard and they didn’t have two of the five nigiri that I ordered. The waitresses are super nice. The outdoor seating is also nice but because of the location between the buildings it can get windy and cold. They have a pretty big fusion menu but I haven’t tried it. It looks good and they have a picture menu so you know heat to expect.

I have to say: No comparison to Katsuya but I was positively surprised how well everything tasted… and paid about half of what I would have at Katsuya. I don’t understand the mediocre reviews up here ! Basic menu. Nothing special. But what we ordered was all fresh: octopus, halibut, seared tuna, salmon, eal, egg sushi, uni, miso eggplant, scallop dinamite, popcorn shrimp, fried banana with vanilla ice cream. And a bottle of saki. And Miso soup. Miso soup had a nice amount of tofu in it … I can’t give 5 stars yet because I have to go back again, but the server was super nice, but truth to be it was a bit slow… but not bothersome… but we were just so hungry !!! Will go back and will take more friends, I recommend this place.
