Talk about the nicest, most friendly group of people. You can tell all of them love working there. It’s as if they were all family. Very refreshing.. highly recommend going out of your way to go to this Jersey Mike’s!

Every time I would walk to chipotle I would see this place so I decided to try! And let me just say not worth it I paid almost 12 dollars for a sub the chips and drink! I could had got this at subway for way less and a bigger sub! The selection of toppings it’s horrible! If you want a better sub I suggest subway!

Love their tuna sandwich mikes way. This location is good and don’t see why the negative reviews get left here. If you like jersey Mike, then you won’t get disappointed here. Friendly staff and clean environment, just like it should be at a restaurant. Cheers.

this is the 2nd time i’ve gone in there,(encino), because i too, really like JM’s, and for the 2nd time, the guys behind the counter were absolutely rude, unmotivated, like i was putting them out by asking them to make me a sandwich, and for lack of better words, for the 2nd straight time(and different employees i might add), they were total dicks to me… the guys really have zero customer relationship skills whatsoever, they are cocky, complacent and apathetic. the owner really needs to install some good cameras to watch this pathetic display of how his franchise is being run. The guy started wrapping my sandwich before he finished asking me what i wanted on it. I said extra vinegar, and he literally put a splash on it — I said, can i have extra please. i will drive 5 extra miles to go to somebody else’s Jersey Mike franchise to avoid this disaster at all costs… and that’s literally at all costs, because i will be giving my money to another franchise owner — clearly, this owner doesn’t give a sh*t…

What a disaster, and its a shame, because its a prime location with a beautiful eating lounge that you likely spent a fortune on, and your staff and your lack of training them properly is going to run it into the ground. You get two stars for the location and that dining room. First and foremost, this location is backwards. Every Jersey Mike’s I’ve ever been to starts with the slicer on the left. You guys messed up designing this one. Oops? Now, to be fair, I’ve been a loyal JM’s fan for life. I’ve been eating at the one over at Van Nuys and Burbank for the better part of the last decade. That one is top-notch and 5-star. This one, not so much. I was nearby and noticed it and decided to stop. I almost went behind the dumpster and purged afterwards. The employee slicing seemingly had no idea how to slice, and he almost dropped our sandwiches when moving them to the other side of the slicer(remember that bit about the bar being backwards?). Now, this is where it gets frustrating. We ordered two sandwiches, but being a seasoned customer, know exactly how we like them, and they’re both the exact same way. Mayo, spicy mustard, Lettuce, tomato, extra pickles, vinegar, salt and pepper. No, it’s not Mike’s Way, but it’s not friggin rocket science either. It’s like if you say anything beside’s «Mike’s Way,» they lose their ability to think and construct and need to be told repeatedly how to do something as simple as making a sandwich. While I’m trying to make sure this guy doesn’t mess up the sandwiches(spoiler alert: he did!) another employee is buzzing in my ear about chips, drinks, and totals. While this is happening and I’m being shaken down for another 10−20% peer-pressure tip at the register, guess what? The sandwich maker doesn’t put mayo on one, doesn’t put spicy mustard on another, puts bacon on the wrong sandwich, all while I’m distracted dealing with the cash register fly. To top things off, the top of one of the sandwiches flipped over with mustard and avocado spread on it, and instead of immediately offering to replace it, he actually ASKED if we still wanted that one. I want that top as much as you want to lick that disgusting countertop that you kids probably never clean properly. But we weren’t done, the drama isn’t over! As the sandwiches were being wrapped at the end of the line, the person dropped it, quickly scrambled to scoop it all up and roll it into paper. It was at this point that I just had to pay and get out of there, or I was going to hurt someone. I could«taste» how bad this sandwich was. The meat was horrible, the bread was horrible, and of course it wasn’t made the way I asked for it to be made. And you kids want $ 15/hour minimum wage? LOLOLOLOLOL. Why don’t you ask a soldier coming back from Afghanistan how much he makes. Spoiler alert: It’s not even $ 15/hr. Horrible service, horrible attitudes, and a horrible sandwich, all while being shaken down for 20% tip on a card at checkout for all of these things. Go to the one on Burbank Blvd at Van Nuys Blvd intersection. It’s 5-star and the complete opposite. To the manager/owner of this one, I hope you pull it off, because it really is a nice location and layout with lots of seating. Excellent alternative to Chipotle nextdoor, but it’s tanking with smug snotty employees that can’t do something as menial as making a sandwich, and don’t really want to be there.

Man, I don’t even know where to start. Customer Service: Terrible. 4 people in uniform, but two people working. Other two were just talking to each other and one of the guys working was multitasking with making food and talking to his friend on outside of the counter, but at least he was still working. Order Accuracy: it was okay. Ordered 3 sandwiches and they gave me the wrong bread on one of them. Now I did not want to drive all the way back there so I dealt with it, but what if I has food allergies? Food: normally good but not at this location. It was my first time going to THIS location and my food was dry. I guess that’s what you get with frozen chicken meat. Who knows. Not felling this place at all.

A tad better than shitty ass Subway, but at least Subway has fresh bread. The wheat bread was hard and like a day old and the meats and cheese was tasteless. And they have the balls requesting a possible tip when you use your bank card! Also, if you really don’t want to taste any meat or cheese have it Mike’s shitty way, saturated in oil and some stupid ass lousy red peppers. I will not eat anything from here again. Overpriced for crappy food.

What a great Philly cheese steak. The cheese was so delicious and top quality. It was so fresh and it tasted amazing. It totally went above and beyond my expectations. The reason why Jersey mikes losses a star is because of the cleanliness of the place. It was not clean at all. I saw trash and crumbs all over the tables and I did not see a janitor or somebody clean it up. They really need to clean the tables after each customer leaves. I don’t expect perfection from a fast food sandwich shop but they need improvement on cleanliness.

Totally unexpected deliciousness. No idea what it is… the bread, maybe? But it’s the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had. Wish they delivered!!!

This place is whatever. I don’t appreciate that when you pay by credit card it kinda forces you to leave a tip! Why do I need to leave a tip? I’m paying over 10 bucks for a sandwich and fountain soda. What’s the tip for? You did a great job making a run of the mill sandwich! I’m surprised that upper management allows this sort if shake down! Not cool. Change the credit card machine settings.

They close the grill down by 8:40pm so half their menu(any hot subs) is off limits when you walk in after 8:40pm

I would like to start off by saying I enjoy the food and the location. Unfortunately I walked in at a time that was inconvenient. Their grill area was already off when we arrived and all I wanted was a Hot Philly Sub from Jersey Mike’s. Well being that it’s 830 on ventura Blvd, on a budget, with a friend, I ate there. I got the Roast Beef J. M style. I am just really disappointed that the sandwich was slopped together, and the lack of quality due to these employees that just wanted to get out early. I’ve worked in food a long time and know the ropes. I hope they acheive better customer service skills to improve the reputation of this fine establishment.
