I honestly wish I could give this place negative stars just for having such horrible employees. It is so beyond sad to see a KOSHER restaurant, one of which being a sushi restaurant that there are very few of, being so bad that I honestly would choose anywhere else than here. Not only do they cover the sushi with rice to stop you from realizing the lack of fish, the people working there particularly the heavy girl in the front who could not give less than half a crap about what you want or why you are there is like a slap in the face. It is such a shame that a restaurant’s employees are the reason they will continue to lose customers. I would understand if you have unbelievable food and shit service but this is just ridiculous! Save your money and go ANYWHERE else than here.

Mediocre Sushi. Terrible staff. No one pays any attention to you. I had to ask for a menu, napkins, and a drink. No one comes to serve you. And when you ask for something they make it seem like you’re inconveniencing them. With all of the sushi competition out there, this place needs to step up its game or they’ll never survive. The sushi looks like it’s bought at a gas station and the service sucks. Also I hate when people call me «boss». Say«sir» or nothing at all. Japanese pizza wasn’t bad. That’s why they get two stars.

A sushi place is only as good as the stuff you order. We may have ordered the 2 worst items on their menu. Ordered the Crunchy Munchy roll and California Dreamin. They do something funky with their imitation crab. They pulverize it and seem to mix it with 50⁄50 cream cheese. Has the consistency of peanut butter but has no crab flavor at all, just tastes stale. What tiny amount of tuna we had did not taste fresh. Some of the roll pieces were cut so large you’d have to be a contortionist to eat them. Seems like a poorly run place where profit margins trump all else.

My Fiancé and I really enjoy going here on a regular basis. It’s hard to find good kosher sushi, yet alone just any kosher restaurant. Quality and the portions are great. The service is not of one of a traditional sit down restaurant but the food makes up for it! We are meshuga for sushi here! :)

Food ok, not great. The website says they deliver, but I don’t think they really do, as the button for delivery on their site didn’t work. When I submitted my order online I called to see if I could change from pickup to delivery instead, and they said something about having to arrange for a driver a day in advance.

I think I just found my new favorite roll. The REDDRAGONROLL is spicy, smoky, tempura, and Salmon all rolled into one. Fast service even though their busy at lunch hour. Yum.

The food was ok. It didn’t taste too fresh but my gripe was with the service. My server was unfriendly and I felt like she didn’t want me in the restaurant. I’m usually never super paranoid about these things, her behavior was obvious. She didn’t even say goodbye to me as she stood next to the door as I passed by her when I was leaving even though she made direct eye contact. I left her a 25% tip so I don’t understand the attitude. I will definitely not be returning.

It was okay, but wouldn’t be my first choice. I’m an adventurous sushi eater and the menu selections were fairly limited…

We had to ask for water and need to go to counter to order our food. A girl behind counter she was too busy to assist her customers. No smile no hello!!! Not a place where you can put your money and enjoy it. Save your time and money go somewhere else where there is quality food and customer service.

Went here today for the first time– ordered ahead and was given a pick-up time of 30 minutes. We got there and it was clear that the orders were moving very slowly– and after waiting a few minutes on our order we were told it would be another 10 – 15 minutes, which is fine, but if your orders are going to take more than 30 minutes, up the wait time estimate in advance. People who walked in and ordered after us were served while we were waiting. We ended up waiting almost a full hour for our food once the order was put in. The girl behind the counter didn’t seem very apologetic; to the girl in front of us(whose order also wasn’t ready, she simply said, «Well the roll you ordered takes a long time.» The people running the counter didn’t seem to know the status of the orders or really what they were doing– we saw food being delivered to a table that hadn’t even arrived yet.

Good quick lunch. The lunch specials are $ 13 – 15 each, and have good low carb options. We ordered a special with great fresh miso soup with plenty of mushrooms. The mixed sashimi salad was ok; some of the fish could have been fresher esp the Ahi. The salad mix was fresher than the fish and veggies like tomatoes and avocado were perfectly ripe. The jungle roll(vegetarian, $ 8) was superb. The condiments were interesting and added to the food– spicy mayo, wasabi mayo and teriyaki like sauces. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars– half off as a sushi place should have fish as fresh as the veggies.

what a joke… this is not even close to good sushi. rice wrapped in seaweed with imitation meat or frozen seafood is not good sushi. i came here for a gathering and first off the bat, no asian works here. rolls made by a couple of hispanic guys, and two girls taking orders that have no idea at all what sushi is or is about. we sat down, no service at all. had to get up to place our orders and repeatedly ask for water refills. I ordered their most popular dish, the chipotle burger, 10 minutes went by before they informed me that they were out of buns so no burger for me. the other food came incorrectly prepared. taste… forget it. tons of rice with garbage fish inside. i asked for seared tuna in my roll, got the minimal amount possible. another reason to not like it. you need to use the spicy mayo on everything because it all taste horrible. quality… forget it. fish is frozen. couldn’t taste much. and the salmon was flaky and dry. bottom line… i don’t know who is giving this place more than one star, maybe family members. i’ve never been to the one in la, but it can only be like this so no point in going. ill stick to real sushi places.

Ok for starters, being that I’ve been to their other 2 locations on la Brea and in Pico blvd in Los Angeles, I kinda expected it to be as super as those! And I gotta say it lived up to my expectations and beyond!! it was absolutely delicious and the place is so relaxing and charming all in one. The seating outside in the courtyard was really nice! I ordered the Alaskan Special and the Crispy Corn Roll and both were amazing! Friend ordered the California Dreamin roll and Japanese Pizza those were great too! The staff was really nice and the parking underground was really convenient. I will be back real soon!!!
