I usually go to another nail salon but didn’t have time to get there so I went to Sally’s. Very disappointing polish choices and after a couple of days, all the polish is peeling off. Well, it was quick — now I have to get another manicure. Waste of time and $$$.

I’ve been coming here for the last 4 years and my nails are always on point. The whole staff is really friendly and nice. Minh is the girl who does my nails, she is amazing, always on time and super professional. I love her.

Decided to try out this place because it’s next to my job. Worst Mani ever. Rushed, sloppy & made me bleed. They also didn’t use towels & had shitty and very little polish options. This place was seriously awful. I could’ve done a better job myself. Never coming back.

I had the most rushed and sloppy mani pedi of my life. Worst part, it was my birthday and I was so looking forward to getting my hands and feet done. When I complained about it, the technician ignored me. Horrible. Will not be coming back.

It was the worst manicure pedicure I ever had. They barely worked on my nails. They speak English so bad, I wasn’t sure what they are talking about. They forced me to bye an ugly sleeper even when my nails were dry

This is my first Unilocal review and I’m compelled to write because I just had the most sloppy, rushed pedicure of my life. I came here with a friend on our lunch break to get a pedicure. The place was not crowded at all. There was a very limited selection of colors and they charge extra for the massage chairs. The lady who did my pedicure spent very little time on my nails, but a lot of time on the leg massage which consisted mostly of rubbing cuticle oil on my legs because she ran out of lotion. I am now sitting at work with greasy, slippery legs. After a quick polish job she rushed me off saying she needed the chair. There were empty chairs and no one was waiting. Oh, and they only take cash. Not a happy experience.

Horrific manicure and pedicure and unsanitary Instruments. I watched not only as my friend and I got bad service — little to no cuticle cleaning — no cleaning underneath the nails the One minute massage with lotion then I had to remind them to put on a topcoat. There are many places in the valley who will do your nails for $ 24 I would steer clear of Sally’s on Ventura unless you want to get some sort of infection they were using instruments from one person putting them back into their supply kit and then pulling them back out is if they were clean for another it should be shut down. I read other Unilocalers reviews and they were a mix of good and one like mine I strongly suggest you listen to the bad reviews I can’t express enough how crappy this place is! Save your nails and go to Tina’s down the street same price great service.

I have been going to Sally’s Nails for 15 years and would never get my mani-pedi anywhere else. All of the ladies are wonderful, friendly and do a great job. Minh, who has always done my nails is on time, fun to talk to and I look forward to seeing her every other week. I feel like family when I go in and always enjoy my experience there.

My mom has been coming to this place for years and told me to get my nails done here for prom. I wanted to try gel nails so it would stay for a while. I was trying to go ancient greek & wanted gold/white nails. They had the white gel but nothing gold, or even yellow. We decided to do the white gel & paint the gold over it, then top it with a clear gel coat so it would all stay, but half of my nails were already chipped by the next morning! I called her back that afternoon(the day before prom) to ask if she could fix it for me, which she did free of charge. My nails were fantastic and everybody raved about them. I absolutely LOVE Minh. She’s really nice & actually listens to you. Also, great pedicures here! When my mom gets one, they stay on for weeks! The only down-side is that they don’t have a large selection of plain colors for gel, but other than that I’m really happy with this place.

I just got my nails done here and Le did such a great job I can’t say enough. I would definitely go back to her! The staff is very nice and friendly and the manager is also very warm and welcoming. My new nail place!

Worst nail salon I have ever been to and I’ve been to plenty. Let me start off by saying the worst mani/pedi. They dont take credit card and the lady locked the door and didn’t let me leave without giving her money. I told her I’d stop at a bank and I wasn’t aware they didn’t accept CC. She held me against my will and yelled at me. I almost had a heart attack. Stay away from this place!

They can do regular mani n pedi, but when it comes to gel. Go somewhere else. The lady took off my gels with the machine they use for acrylics. If you know about gels, then you know this is SO not the way to do it. The price is great, the location is cool too. I’ll just never be back for gels. My pedicure is bitchin’ though!

Affordable, quick and very sweet staff. I’ve been to many, many nail shops and while this isn’t the most comfortable, it is totally worth it for the attentive service. I’ve never had any concerns about the cleanliness of the facilities.

It’s quick, convenient and affordable. But it’s the least relaxing mani-pedi I’ve ever gotten. You have to twist your upper body for the mani while your legs are straight in front for the pedi. Not a very good selection of polishes, and the girls cut corners and go through the motions. I don’t feel comfortable about the sanitization of the instruments, either. I work close so I come here when I have to. Last time I came, I got a mani-pedi in about 40 minutes. I should also give them kudos because there’s never a wait. The result is good, but not the process. Three stars.

The price is good($ 20 for mani/pedi). I’ve experienced better service else where though. First off, you’re sitting in the manicurist chair so your upper body is turned so the manicurist can work on your nails. For your pedi, another girl has a portable foot bath and brings it to the mani table. Your lower half is turned so she can work on your feet… very uncomfortable for something that’s supposed to be relaxing. Again good price but awkward set up.

I was in a bind. I needed to get my nails done before a flight and I didn’t have a chance to get it done earlier. I called when they opened and said I needed a mani/pedi, and was told I could be taken right away. I came in and asked if they did gel nails, which they do and got a pedicure. Wow, I was in and out with gels and a pedicure + design(on both finger nails and toe nails) within 45 minutes. My nails look flawless and I’m really happy I found this place. I will come back soon!

The salon isn’t the most physically appealing salon I have seen. It’s your typical $ 20 manicure-pedicure spot. But… It has been the best manicure-pedicure I have ever got. Ask for Cathy. She is a diamond in the rough of manicurists. She is fast, thorough, and paints nails so flawlessly it’s really a miracle. She can put on black nail polish with a blindfold and not get any on my skin or cuticle. No joke. I have gone through manicurists and nails salons since I can remember. I’ve paid $ 6-$ 40 for a manicure, and believe me… this is the best and the price is pretty much perfection. 4 stars because it’s just not the chicest nail salon I have been to… but Cathy is really worth it!

I started coming here because I work 2 blocks away and some co-workers go here and recommended it. I love it. I hate crappy nail jobs and I’ve never had one here. I see Mia(sp?), she’s awesome, but the others I’ve had are good too. And it’s cheap! The parking does seem to be tricky, but I always walk so I don’t have experience with that. Oh, and if you are a follower and remember the video footage of mama Katharine Jackson getting her nails done a couple days before Michael’s memorial, this was the place.
