Urban Salad Bar

This place has had several owners over the last few years. The new owner is doing a great job. The salad choices are great. Everything is fresh, and very high quality. It’s a great lunch option.

I’ve only ordered the wraps from here and haven’t been disappointed yet. The food is very good, but a little pricey.

Saw this place and thought I would give it a try. The gentleman working was very friendly and I was impressed with the selection. Everything was fresh. The meats at the salad bar were actually delicious. Not pressed cubes like a lot of places have. The only bad thing is the price is a little steep for salad but I will happily pay more for freshness and courtesy. I will be back.

Very large selection of mostly healthy veggies, grains, cheeses, proteins. The pananis with pesto have some sort of crack in them, out of this world good. The daily soups are usually vegetarian and/​or vegan. Have yet to try the juices.
All of the staff are hard working, positive, and very helpful. My go to lunch place 3 – 4 times a week. Big up to Urban Salad Bar!

This place is always dependably good and reasonably priced. Amazingly good soups!

Came in here yesterday 10 mins as they were about to close. Love the idea of this salad bar then weigh your food concept. This idea is a big hit on the East coast and slowly these type of places are popping up on the West coast.
The employee on staff or manager (not sure) was kind enough to give me the opportunity to pick food out and since most of the options were gone, he gave me a little discount as a kind gesture with validation.
Will definitely come back for the concept and service.

Every since having a baby I’ve had a real challenge dropping weight (for 2 years) and have been sincerely depressed altering my diet. I’ve recently discovered this place has some of the best soups I’ve ever had in my life.
The soup is always vegan and always fresh and mouth watering! The juices here are fresh and the salad bar has an assortment of fresh and delicious items.
I’ve lived in New Orleans, Silverlake and the East Bay. Basically I’ve lived everywhere that good food exists, but none of these places have soup as good as this place!!!
I can’t decide which soup is my favorite, but I can tell you the corn or lentil soup are so good I actually go in and buy a few bowls to go. They will fill you up just right. I’m so excited that I have the option of eating here on the weekdays.
Also the staff is hands down the best. Everybody that works here is so kind and so helpful. Super good vibes and super healthy and delicious fresh clean food!
This place is really inspiring me to change my eating habits for the better!

Urban Salad bar is definitely my favorite spot for lunch in Encino. Their salad variety is delicious, their juices are too! I usually go for the Kale, Celery, Lemon, Ginger, Beet (doesn’t sound good) but it’s delicious! Their staff is honestly the best part. They’re always kind, helpful, and professional. I come here ¾ days out of five. Best spot for lunch!

Love this place and the food, I work next door and I love getting lunch there! They are always so nice and giving! The food is always fresh, I always get my same healthy salad that I love and enjoy it so much. You won’t be disappointed by the cute place, great food, and wonderful customer service!

This place has the best Salad Bar with fresh ingredients for a really cheap price it was only $ 8dollars for a side of pesto pasta and a salad with all the ingredients of my choice. They also have a variety of salad dressings. Spinach ranch is my favorite. They also serve delicious panini’s ! Highly recommended

I will definitely go back and it’s not bad, but whole foods salad bar is better if you can stand their parking lot etc.
The salad bar here is good and it enables you to eat healthy, but it’s not spectacular or delicious. Very utilitarian.

Love the food here, you really can’t go wrong! Every item on the menu is delicious and healthy. I have been a regular here for years. If you’re looking for a cheap and inexpensive healthy lunch then this is your place!

If you’re looking for an organic salad bar this is the place to go, they have a full size bar with so many toppings to choose from. I do not recommend the sandwiches though, I was really disappointed paying almost $ 7 for a turkey sandwich that my mom could have made. Also they are not opened on the weekend which was shocking to me but they obviously don’t need the business. Anyway, salad bar is good but that’s about it.

Love this place! Great salad bar, but I can’t say enough about their great home-​made soups! The owner is so personable to begin with, always friendly and caring. The soups are delicious and very healthy! And here healthy does not mean losing the taste, it means delicious. they mix up the lunch menu specials that are on the chalkboard outside daily, which also are always delicious varieties of sandwiches and Panini’s etc. Quick and easy and very reasonable.

This place is great. The produce is fresh and they have a wide selection. Definitely recommend it. Plus the validate

Awesome lunch spot if I’m feeling a little fat and wanna mix in a salad. Good variety of options and you pay what it weighs like froyo.
PLUS they started a new thing on Fridays where you get your salad for free if you guess the weight… and guess who got a free salad last Friday… dis betch.

What an amazing place! It is a similar concept to yogurt land where you pay for how much your salad weighs. They have a very vast array of toppings from all kind sod vegetables, cheeses, proteins like tuna/​chicken and more, as well as different types of lettuce for any flavor or diet.
Very friendly employees and even the owner has an apron on and is making it happen! Price is great and you get what you pay for, literally.
All the items are VERY FRESH, and I got probably half the items lol. The hummus was incredible and I usually don’t put that on my salad but I might start to now.
They also have a customer loyalty card/​program which is always a plus. I love the concept and I am so happy that Unilocal was able to help me find this place.
There is street parking and a parking garage so don’t worry about that. Worth every penny and they even have the special to go boxes for salads that are lined with wax so the dressing doesn’t get the box soggy. A++ this is outstanding. Very clean as well.
Good work Urban Salad Bar. Way to be innovative and fresh.

Great selection! Fresh food! It can be a little pricey if you fill up your Togo box all the way but definitely worth it if you are in the mood for a salad!

I love so much about this place from the yummy food to the cleanliness and the smiley face of Sergio the owner. I have come here at least twice a week for the last two years. The food is so fresh and natural and the sandwiches are delicious and creative. The only thing that I would change and the reason that I gave nly 4 stars instead of 5 is because I love this place so much that i wish that they were opened later than 4pm and also on the weekends, which they currently are not. I am hoping that seeing only 4 stars will motivate Sergio to consider opening on saturdays and sundays and staying opened until 6pm after most people are off of work and are craving a healthy and hearty salad for dinner.

Great little place. Prices are totally fair!
Ralphs salad bar is all processed food and makes me extremely sick afterwards. Gelsons barely has a selection.
This place has it all and it’s organic! I LOVE THEIR GRAPE LEAVES!
Staff is super friendly and it’s nice to support local shops. Pricing is no more than at the chain grocery stores.
He also started organic fresh squeezed juices which is great. LOVE LOVE LOVE
