Frank’s is our favorite and we’ve been coming here for nearly 30 years. Pizza’s great. The ambiance is classic. Highly recommend that you give it a try. Nicest people you could meet. The homemade Italian sausage is always tasty.

I have neglected one of my frequent haunts — Frank the Pizza King. It is a throwback to the golden days of Englewood, Colorado. My friends and I normally order the Frank’s Special which is homemade Italian sausage(Frank’s son makes it right there.) with pepperoni and mushrooms. If you wish for anchovies, Frank has a fresh stock — but because Frank and I are not from Colorado — we understand the disconnect. But, Frank —(Frank Krascek) — in reality, a Hungarian Jew — and myself, an Ethopian Jew hit it off very well. I don’t consider Franks a 5 star pizza place and I told him so with my anchovy breath. I’m sitting here right now writing this review and I consider Frank like my family. In Frank’s words, «I will never be considered to be an elite in Englewood because I want to please my customers.» You certainly have Frank Krascek — you certainly have for 51 years. My friend, as I am writing this on this Unilocal app — you and I have donated our time to public service and charities. This«Elite» status thingy will elude us forever. I know you have stage 4 cancer but yet you go to work everyday in pain. Please call me Frank because you soooo correct — Internet people can be very superficial. Anyways, this Ethopian Jew gives you FIVE stars because of what your charity work and the joy of pizza.

I go to a lot of pizza places, but out of all, Frank’s Pizza is the best!:) They have great food. They also have good drinks like Sprite, lemonade, tea etc. If you’re hungry and they don’t have the food ready, you can get a side salad with crackers. They have good service and nice servers. My family has been going for a while, since my dad’s parents. We don’t even get a menu, but they know what we want. One of the servers knows us really well. We have good conversations. On my birthday they even let my open a present inside.
Its also a great place for kids because there are two games. Galiga is a fun 25 cents game where you’re a rocket and you shoot alien bugs. They also have $ 1 juke box where you can choose a song. [ The place is pretty old so the juk box only plays ‘back then’ songs. But it does play Taylor Swift] I recommend this restaurant, DEFINITELY! Everything there is great. And perfect for a family, one person, or a couple night out. :) :) :) :) I LOVEFRANKS!!!

The pizza was horrible. It tasted like a microwave pizza. The waitress served us while holding a baby. The building looks as old as the food tastes.

The king of my heart when it comes to a pizza parlor. This little gem is a old time favorite in my home town. I order a large pie, thin crust, pep’s and ‘penos. Side salad, cause I’m hoping to fill my belly with more greens than cheesy, gooey, yummy pizza! I’ll take you home and eat you up later.

We heart Frank’s! It’s a family own and run place. They make their own Italian sausage which is amazing. It’s a little pricer than a chain but 100% worth it.

This is the BEST thin crust pizza in the metro area! I’ve eaten this pizza since 1978 because it’s DELICIOUS!!! Thin, crispy crust; fresh, generous toppings; rich, flavorful, sauce; REAL cheese! Consistent. I’ve tried every new place since then, but NONE can compare! Maria and the crew are always friendly and helpful. I unfortunately moved out of delivery area, but have no problem making the extra 20 min drive for the BESTPIZZA in the DENVER area!!!

Always excellent pizza its the same since I was coming when I was in high school. Now I live way south but I still make sure I drive in to town and get my Franks«fix» at least once a month.

1970s Pizza, atmosphere, vynal table covers, red plastic soda glasses, parmesan and red hot spice on the table. We love it. Good food, fun people, no hassle. God I’m back in high school, young happy and well fed. Thanks Franks. Now for my date, a cruise up to look out mountain and some kissing… ok she’s my wife but Frank’s makes it A DATE.

Nice service. Decent thin crust. Way too skimpy on the cheese.

Frozen crust! This pizza did not deliver on any level! It was really poorly crafted and I was disappointed after reading reviews that held this place in high regard. Maybe people just have low standards? I don’t know what the hype is about, I will not be back!

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl! Love this place! My grandpa and grandma have been coming here since it opened when my mom was little. Great food!

Frank’s pizza has been one of my favorite places for over 20 years. My parents took me as a child and I’ve been going ever since. I love the pizza and the sauce is like no other. The ranch dressing is fantastic and I don’t think there is anything at this place that I haven’t liked. My kids love it and I’ve taken many people over the years. If you are looking for a new place to try you should try this. The owner and staff are the best and I hope they are around forever.

Reading the reviews, you’d think you roll the dice when you walk in the door and either get great, friendly service and great food or the worst pizza dinner of your life. Strange how dichotomous the experiences are. For me, it’s simple. Cheap, simple pizza. Standard salads and drinks. Nothing to boast about, but pretty reliable. They have a thin crust style pie. They will honor their ‘lunch special’ at any time, which is a decent deal — a salad, personal pizza and a drink for $ 6.25. Sometimes when you combine ice and boiling water you get… appropriately tepid reviews.

Frank’s is a perfect small and friendly atmosphere. It is a no frills place but if you ask the locals, people rave about it. The lunch special is $ 5 something for a drink, salad and personal pizza. Great deal, IMO. If you want to order pizza for a party, the delivery guys are always very friendly, or if you aren’t in the mood to cook dinner. Don’t do Pizza Hut if you are in the mood for pizza. Frank’s Special is the best, since dough and sausage are home made. Can’t beat it. 6 stars if I could! There is a reason it gets voted in the top 3 pizza joints in Denver’s A-List.

Like a few other reviews here, Frank’s earns a bunch of points right off the bat for nostalgia and staying power. They’ve been family owned and operated for as long as I remember, and that’s going back about 15 years. That’s plenty of times to accrue fond memories — I’ve spent more than a few birthday dinners here and had the top score at Galaga even more often than that. I could reminisce for paragraphs, but just let this serve as a reminder that the following is all spiced with heartfelt familiarity. The pizza is thincrust, a bit greasy, but loaded with toppings. I almost always opt to get the Frank’s Special, sometimes with anchovies. This is actually the first place I ever tried anchovies and liked them. Damn, there I go again… ANYWAY. The cheese bread is fair and the milk shakes are pretty good. I’ve dabbled around in a few other items on their menu, and while nothing has been bad, the non-pizza dishes are mostly forgettable. Frank is not the PIZZA King for nothing. Atmosphere-wise, the place could stand a little remodeling. Whether it leans towards classic, kitschy, or divey is going to be entirely a matter of taste. I have a feeling some of the furniture predates the restaurants youngest family employees, but this errs more on the side of charming for me. Denver has no shortage of «hot spots» to visit and wait through long lines, so it’s nice having a quaint little pizza place still rocking it from forever ago. Good for a group of friends or a family, maybe not so great for a date. AWESOME for delicious pizza goodness.

I live near here and my friend and I just tried it last night. Great little spot, a kind of mom and pop spot which I love to support! Pizza was very good, lots of toppings and great crust! You will enjoy! Go support local spots like this one!

Lots of complaints on here about the crust, but I thought it held up quite well! Overall, this was some of the best pizza I’ve had in long time. We got the Frank’s Special or whatever it’s called and a straight Italian sausage… yum! They weren’t at all stingy with the toppings, and everything tasted very fresh. Love the sauce, too! Since I went in to pick up the order, I was also able to see their cute little restaurant. There are several booths and tables available for customers dining in. Also, I think every employee in the place gave me a friendly greeting during the 2 – 3 minutes I was inside. Nice, and very much lacking in many establishments these days. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m sure part of the reason I think Frank’s is a 5-star joint is nostalgia, but I also just really really like the pizza! This place is an institution. And, it’s still family run! In fact, most times the people working there still recognize my family and give us an extremely warm greeting, even though we don’t frequent Frank’s near as often as we used to. My dad has been coming to Frank’s since he went to Englewood High School back in the 60s. My grandma used to come here on her lunch break and she’s been retired since the 80s. Frank’s has even been a part of most family visits to grandma’s house(oftentimes delivery) for holidays, etc. And, I started visiting on my own once I moved to the Denver metro area(though sadly I am not in delivery range). The pizza is delicious. Thin crust, but it has some substance to it and doesn’t get soggy over time. The topping choices are your standard fare. I typically go with a 10″ pepperoni, jalapeño, and extra cheese. It fills me up and leaves me a few pieces for leftovers. They do have a lunch special where you can get a smaller individualized pizza, a side salad, and a soda for like $ 6. The special only includes one topping, but you can add more for an extra charge. They also have fountain cherry cokes, etc. and all sodas(and water) are served with crushed ice. The dining area is very retro. I imagine it hasn’t changed much since they first opened over 50 years ago. It’s certainly not fancy, but I don’t mind one bit. There’s even a jukebox if you’re so inclined.

I tasked Sam with picking a place, any place we had never been before. He sighed and since he is very indecisive sometimes. We drove down South Broadway and we stopped here someplace he had driven by multiple times and never stopped in. I was totally down for pizza. This is a local owned family joint, very cozy inside. We picked a booth in the corner. It’s been such a long time since I’ve been served drinks with the old school crushed ice, totally awesome. We decided on a large order of garlic cheesy bread and Frank’s Special Pizza with no mushrooms. The garlic bread was tasty, we enjoyed the bread. I always prefer to see shredded cheese being used instead of sliced deli cheese and this bread had the sliced cheese. Not horrible just a little underwhelming, the taste was solid though. The pizza arrived and looked delicious. This place has been around for 50+ years and advertises home made crust, very big plus for any pizza place that makes there own pizza dough. Pizza smelled delicious and had a good amount of toppings on it. Sam and I both agree the pizza was good. I know the crust is homemade, it did have the consistency of frozen crust. Just kind of reminds you of frozen pizza. The flavors were on point though, **The surprise of the evening was the flavor of the sausage. I happened to eat a piece that fell off a slice and tasted the sausage individually and it was amazing. The flavors packed in the sausage were impressive. Next time we come we might just got a sausage pizza to enjoy the deliciousness, A good local pizza joint to support in the neighborhood. They also offer delivery.
