We really wanted to go here for dinner but Went here for dinner 06−17−16 and it is closed till Oct 2016. We will try it again as it looked like a pretty place for dinner.

This little diamond in the rough is situated on the the gorgeous shore of Lemon Bay. The menu is limited but who needs more then wings, burgers and grouper? I had the ribeye sammich & hubs had blackened grouper. They were both equally deliciouso! We got the key lime pie to go and couldn’t even resist a taste before we left. Highly recommend stopping in here if you like a low key, delicious, good time. Our second time here and we will definitely be back!

Nice and casual spot to drive to or boat to. Seating on the water, under the tiki. Pulled in by boat on a Wednesday evening, very friendly service, from the moment we walked in. Very simple menu, plastic cups and utensils, but good food and service, and very nice spot! We went for the gumbo and crab cakes! Will be back!

So. been coming here for years, always loved it. Moved here a year a go, things have changed. Food not as good, used to love the burger, now mediocre. Even wings not as good. Service worse, attitude worse. Menu changed. Don’t know if new owners or what. Just not the same place I used to love.

Was not impressed at all. Same story as Snooks. Sandwiches are diet size. might be good for some of us. Nothing diet about the prices.

Discovered this little gem recently. Low-key food with a wonderful view of Lemon Bay. Live music on the weekends is nice. Nothing fancy. Simple, easy menu with good food.

This place is great! Amazing view of the bay and a nice cool breeze(a bit turbulent but hey, we just dodged a hurricane). Had the blackened grouper for my main course and it was delicious. I recommend going all in w/the bacon on top. The onion rings were also off the hook good. Had the peel and eat shrimp, they were tasty and well seasoned. Would definitely come back here again. Only note(and super minor) is that they need a bucket of rocks on the table to hold down the paper boats once you chow through your food. Excellent.

food was really good and they were able to accommodate such a large party very fast(20). They ran out of the beer we were drinking, so if your looking for Corona probably not the best place. We are a pretty loud intimidating group but the waitress seemed annoyed. she definitely served us in a timely manner I just felt uncomfortable asking her for stuff. Overall It is a great place to eat and the food was good. would have been nice if the owners would have said hi while spending that kinda money.

One of our favorites when we are in Placida. Great view, tied to the small marina. The best chicken wings by far. Would like Sat music to start earlier.

If you are looking for the best Florida tiki bar … Look no further!!! Stump pass offers the best food anywhere in the state. The grouper is fresh and full of flavor. The land sharks are ice cold and the views are amazing, second only to the awesome staff working this awesome hidden gem. Check them out!!! Always live music playing. And great food… Local tip: make sure you try their home made gumbo. And save room for key lime pie!

We had a satisfying lunch here. The ambiance set the tone, being right on the water, adjacent to a marina. Parking area was full, thus we needed to park on the street. No biggie. Seating is at picnic tables, under a large thatched palapa, with fantastic breezes coming off the water. Service was a bit slow, but I’ve been told to get used to it(just not what I’m used to.) beer is served in plastic cups. Food was what you expect: we all had fried grouper bites with fries and coleslaw. Other menu options were bar fare as well. I would probably rate this place 3.5, but since that is not an option, I’ll round up to 4 stars, as I will surely come back again.

Stump pass grille is a cool little tiki bar with one hell of an amazing view of the bay! So what’s the excuse NOT to grab a beer or a glass a wine here. NOTE: I only mentioned beer and wine! For you who drink something else in the adult beverage world, sorry your out of luck here! I too was bummed out to hear such sad news! I did try the Gumbo here and I do admit it did kick some ass and had just enough kick to it(I’d come back again to have another bowl) as far as the rest of their menu goes, it’s very limited for sure. For land lovers there’s not many options at all, sorry guys! I’ll be back for Gumbo and watch the view if nothing else! If I crave a drink other than beer, I’ll have to go elsewhere(very very close nearby) it’s always 5 o clock somewhere as well as a happy hour!

Have stopped in 3 – 4 times and the SERVICE is exceptional… Super Friendly and helpful from the Owner and all the waitresses and waiters… that plus an EXCEPTIONALVIEW make this well worthwhile ANY Sunny Day as the SUNSETS are AMAZING! The reason for only 3 stars is simply the very limited menu choices… as you better like french fries… as no baked potato or any other side option than cole slaw… plus only 1 dessert…(Key Lime Pie)…which they boast about being your only choice… YES, The setting & view sells itself and the Manager & team are exceptional… But, take a look at the menu online if you are expecting a lot of choices and visit accordingly.

Relaxing chilaxin’ and maxin’ out cool I was looking to enjoy a drink out by the pool, but instead we went to Stump Pass to enjoy the view of the bay, the pelicans, and the sunshine at this tiki-esk bar restaurant. We went early so grabbing a table wasn’t a problem, though we weren’t able to snag a seat right on the water. I went for a «sangria» and fish ‘n chips. The sangria wasn’t so hot, yet it was refreshing. I would have preferred a stronger drink with fruit mixed in it instead of the couple of wedges on the top. The fish was alright, but I would have preferred a more generous fish to batter ratio as there seemed to be very little fish and a decent amount of batter. The fries were nothing to write home about and, of course, eating anything that comes in a paper basket with the wind whipping up across the table usually ends with food on the ground. Truly, the selling point of this establishment is the opportunity to have dinner outside while in a beautiful setting. If the food and drink is improved, this place will be a home run.

Stump Pass Grille located within Stump Pass Marina is a beer and wine only establishment with a rather limited munchy and comfort food offering of chicken wings, burgers and the like; certainly nothing special or of any particular quality. So, for food, you can forget that and as for drinks, it’s pretty much an out of the bottle, the can or from the tap arrangement. The plus side is its location within the Stump Pass Marina and the general ambiance of being in a clean, well operated tiki hut arrangement near the water with the attraction of seeing the catch of the local fisherman along with the feeding of fish scrapes to the pelicans and other local feathered friends. So, though it has a very nice on the water marina setting, I’ve certainly had a lot better food and have been too many superior water front locations.
