The Girard at Cherry hills

All I have to say is I have not even moved in yet, but they are good about short term leases and that is what I am looking for right now. The location isn’t bad by any means, its convenient to many things and secluded from the public, so no one will just come wandering around here. The exterior and interior are depressing… but obviously with the right flow. you can certainly make it feel like Home. But all I have to say is I am glad I only have to be here for a short term. After that, onto better things. Much better.

After living here for nearly 3 years, I must say this apartment complex has gone downhill. While they’ve undergone major renovations, the changes were mostly cosmetic except for installing new windows. If you spend any time at home Monday-​Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. don’t expect any peace and quiet. The time estimates the management staff gives for how long work will take are NEVER accurate. The management staff in general is staff by rude, unhelpful, unapologetic people who are only interested in renting out more units. I will say the maintenance staff is great. However, this complex is always having issues: whether it’s the pipes freezing during the winter, the main water line leaking, floods in the tiny laundry room, and so on.
There was a time when this complex was a great bargain. That is no longer the case. Our rent continues to go up while the improvements they make only make the outside of these places look nicer while delivering no extra value.
