The building is in dire need of a good scrub down. Service was slow and not that great. The food was pretty good. We will give it another chance to see if service improves.

Cant beat the friendly service! Food is always cooked just tight and i love that i can order ahead for pick up. The menu can be a bit limiting — I wish there was a chicken fried chicken choice on the menu — I’m not a fan of breaded beef. Its a good choice for southern fried food.
There would be 5 stars, but i was less than impressed when i looked at the exceedingly dusty décor on the walls and the ceiling fan. Just a once-​monthly cleaning/​dusting would jeep things from looking like an abandoned building.

I use to love this chain, this particular one is old outdated, in desperate need of a renovation and the food just ok. I have been twice and the staff didn’t seem to be happy working

Absolutely disgusting. Staff isn’t very good and the food isn’t great either. Would not recommend out of all the other places you could go.

The food was ok. Very large helpings but not as good as I hoped. My biggest complaint was the waitress. It was VERY obvious that she was bothered with serving us. All in all not a bad choice if you’re hungry, definitely not what I picture when thinking of southern food.

This little southern style restaurant offers okay food but it’s nothing exciting. Everything is boring and deep fried, which is great if you’re into that but it wasn’t for me. It tasted okay for what it was, it just not my cup of tea so to speak. Service was nice, prices reasonable, and the restaurant was clean though.

I’ve been here a few times, and each time I’ve been less than impressed. Too bad this is the «southern» food place, because I’m just not enjoying my meals. Ordered the whiting dinner last night. Fish wasn’t fully cooked, gravy for mashed potatoes looked like chocolate pudding, and the corn on the cob was old and dry.

This is a great place if you are looking for a great southern-​style/​home cooked meal. The fried chicken is crispy and flavorful, the turnip greens with pepper sauce and cornbread reminded me of my granny. The grilled whitefish is seasoned to perfection if you like a little Cajun kick and the baked apples are amazing. You will experience a friendly taste southern cuisine at an affordable price. It’s one of those hidden gems if you never heard of Po Folks.

Always friendly service. Hood southern cooking! They grill whitefish just perfect! Cornbread slightly sweet, not dry. Steaks have been quality, cooked perfectly, melt in mouth! Green beans have pork in them, gives them that extra touch! Family, casual environment. Military discount on Wednesdays. Follow their FB page for upcoming events. Lunch and dinner menus

I wouldn’t eat here again! People had told me to try it and I was not impressed! It seemed they were trying to copy cracker barrels theme but their food was horrible. Service was slow and the dessert was a joke!

i love this place. the food is just simple, nothing complicated. you can get pork chops, chicken fried steak, chicken n dumplings. this place is a really great. its a good meal for a great price. the staff is really friendly and are great at what they do. i will continue to go here many times until i leave.
