Waffle House

Stopped in after a redeye flight on Christmas day. Place was humming. So friendly. Awsome staff and customers. This is now on my must go to list for all future visits.

The Waffle House is just awesome. And if I had one where I lived maybe I wouldn’t love it as much as I do… but it is a guaranteed stop for breakfast every time I go home to Kentucky.
Can’t beat their omelettes (so light, so fluffy, so much butter!), their hash browns, the cheery quick service and the prices! Amazing. Love it love love it!

I was staying in the hotel right beside this place, i did not like the breakfast food in the hotel so i ended up walking into this place, the food was good, staff were really nice and friendly! I will definitely come back again!

The food here is your average breakfast items. I liked that they had grits on the menu. I didn’t like the fact that you can see the kitchen (old school), and the noise level in here is very high. Mostly the employees shouting at each other (or joking around)… But still. Annoying.

I came here at around 4 – 5 AM after a long day of watching drumline world championships, loading equipment on a truck for a couple of hours until 3 AM, and sleeping on the car until we got here at 4 or 5 (was too tired to care about the time), so I may not have been conscious enough to properly judge this restaurant. However, I just ordered a single waffle and a hot chocolate, since I didn’t want to eat too much before I went back to sleep.
At the time, it was raining & freezing, and I just wanted something hot to warm me up. The waffles & hot chocolate were amazing. Though I’m just the type to really like waffles, it was so nice & fluffy & hot! The hot chocolate didn’t taste like it was from powder (and if it was, kudos to their hot chocolate brewing skills.) Did the trick of defrosting my body without giving me hyperthermia (is that a real condition? I just meant the opposite of hypothermia lol).
Overall, positive experience with Waffle House. I’ll definitely come back if I ever come across one of their locations again =)

Fastest service in town, they are packed on Sunday mornings, everyone knows everyone by first name. It is what it is, but its a nice friendly place.

Mmmmmm Waffle House. I love your hashbrowns and coffee. I love that no matter which Waffle House I go to I know I will get a good breakfast. Visited this particular Waffle House because it was across the street from our hotel. Early morning or late night the food is always quick, fast, and tasty. Can’t go wrong with Waffle House.

Having been a third shift employee, you really learn to appreciate places with all day breakfast menus that are open 24 hours. This place has both. It’s the classic diner design, where the server uses some cryptic language to yell the order to the cook (who’s 3 feet from her). It’s really just a fun throwback to the age of diners, if you go for that thing. The food isn’t bad, and it’s not expensive to start. It’s mostly a la carte, so you can keep adding things that jack up the price pretty quickly. The coffee’s descent, and the wait staff are friendly. It was surprising how busy the place was at 2:00 in the morning, but I guess there is a bar just across the street.
