This is a VERY belated review about Sears Optical on East Via Rancho Parkway in Escondido. To begin with, «Dr. Mac» was very gentle and helpful during my eye exam. Luis, the optician was very knowledgeable and patient with me as it took me a while to choose frames. The price they were able to offer me was excellent compared to some other places. Unfortunately I had an unforeseen issue which, at the suggestion of Dr. Mac, was squared away with the help of an ophthalmologist. In the end it was necessary to get my glasses elsewhere and I had to return the glasses. As it was within the 90 day «trial» period, they refunded my purchase price. What I was even MORE impressed with was the fact that Dr. Mac refunded the cost of my co-​pay with an actual check. To me that showed integrity on his part and I am happy to report there are still good people out there and some of them work at Sears Optical!

I was extremely happy with Neal Macudzinski, he took time to explain every thing and evey step of my eye test. Was so kind. The staff is also Wonderful. I will be using
Neal Macudzinski, from now on for all my eye care. I have had many eye exams from many clinics over the years, I find Dr Neal Macudzinski and staff to be outstanding.
They also were very helpful in getting me the best price on frames and lenses.

I had never had an eye exam before. I was walking through the mall and decided to stop by. I was just browsing around their glasses when I was asked if I had a prescription. I let Dr Neal’s staff know I ha never had an exam before but was 100% certain I needed glasses. She let me know he was available for a walk in. So I agreed, she took my insurance and informed me of my copayment amount and Dr Neal saw me right away. Once in his office he explained exactly what every test was for and went to further and explained why my vision was perhaps in need of some glasses. He was very detailed and very helpful. I would definably recommend him to anyone in need of an eye exam for glasses or contact lenses.
