Sears Portrait Studio

We made an appointment here for a family portrait. Showed up 15 minutes prior to our session and we were told we were next to be seen. We waited for well over an hour, even though we had an appointment while watching at least 4 people go before us. Went to ask the lady when we’d be seen if she could give us an estimate and she just threw up her hands and replied rudely I DON’T KNOW! This place is unorganized, and disarray it seems, Why bother making an appointment if the business can’t even keep the designated time. Such a waste of my family’s time. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. We made an appointment at the picture people and were seen within minutes of our appointment time, there is simply no excuse for Sear’s Portrait Studio’s in Escondido, CA to be so unprofessional.

Worst experience ever. We brought our 3 week old to do family/​newborn shots and were using a groupon that a friend gifted to us. They were so over booked and understaffed our appt was at 130 they didn’t take us back till 3! They told us they were running 35 mins behind not an hour and a half behind. By that time it was my daughters fussy time so we got a few family shots that weren’t even that good and then she screamed the whole rest of the time. I know her fussy time starts around 3 that’s why i made the appt for 1:30 thinking we would be out of there by 3. They made us wait another 2 hours to view/​select our photos.(they told us we could not do it at home since we had the groupon we had to wait and do it right then) By the time we selected out pictures, which we only had about 15 shots and none of them were even good. To top it all off the employees weren’t even apologetic and all just kept talking about how they didn’t get their lunch yet. I will never ever go back there.

If you want a great portrait experience without the trickery, deceitfulness, and outrageous prices of other portrait studios (Glamour Shots & Picture People), go here. They got tons of backgrounds and don’t shot everything in white (picture people). Plus they have flexible choices which made saving money easier. There photographer are well trained and demonstrated great interaction skills with children and babies, as well as adults.
The only hard part about my portrait experience is choosing the portraits!
