Moved here from Washington state and ugh. What do I think of Eugene Oregon? Don’t ask. So we moved into the apartments near Albertsons and sadly my health has deteriorated since moving here because I constantly am having to grab food from here. This store really doesn’t have food. They have food LIKE products. Mayo? Organic … Keep going ! Organic produce? Hardly. But they have a sh*t load of potato chips and fried chicken ! Some times you can find a gem here like stump town coffee or good eggs and Amish butter. But everything else?. Cancer and GMO market place … And don’t mind the meth heads that are walking around scratching themselves as they steal … God where did I move !!! *scream* I’ll continue to HAVE to shop here and give this rat hole my money. And get some nicer workers ! Grouchiest people ever !

When there is a 15 items or less Express Lane and a lady with a full cart takes it up and I only have 5 items, well I see no advantage to using this market that is at best a high priced convenience market. I prefer to shop at Walmart or Winco ONLY.

I like the fact that they are close by and open late but the fruit here is HORRIBLE. I usually pick up strawberries, raspberries, apples, and oranges and found that at Albertsons they aren’t fresh. If I need any junk food or emergency ice cream this is where I turn to. But if I’m looking for some produce I’ll go to Trader Joe’s and MOC.

Since my last review, the service has been great.

There isn’t a lot I miss about living in San Antonio, but the regional grocery chain is one of them( ). I wandered into Albertsons yesterday looking to pick up a few pantry staples and was disappointed by the high prices + The Royal/Danebo location was well-list with clutter-free aisles + Cashier was friendly and efficient — Non sale item prices were very high I’m all for weekly specials, but scouring the ad is not something I wish to do each week. Still looking for a go-to consistently priced grocery store for the staples…

As stated by Jessica M., this is a much nicer location than others. Handy to the familys in the Royal/Danebo area. Has a ghetto gas station that moved in(no longer able to use albertsons rewards to get .05-.15 off per gallon of gas) that has ½ the selection that the previous store did. The store itself isn’t bad at all, nice and clean, well lit and very open. I have found where Albertsons is slightly more expensive than Winco, it’s cheaper than MOC, and usually has better produce than Safeway. So I prefer this place Vs others. They have a nice selection of local brews. Lots of 22oz’s also! Staff is cool, they’re quick to help and they’re pretty good at keeping the self check out moving along. Haven’t had much of a wait there like other places So if im in the area, I’ll take advantage of the convenience.
