Noah was great, our son has kinda tricky hair to cut and he really took his time and did a wonderful job. This means a lot since an unhappy teenage son is not the easiest have around. Thank you Noah and our new favorite barber shop… Andersons!

So far I’ve visited Anderson’s Barber Shop inDowntown Eugene, Oregon three times and each haircut was exceptional. This place is a keeper. I am now a regular.

I’ve tried many barbers and salons in the area and this one suites me, some had only one barber and if there are more than three customers, that’s your morning. Some were not expensive and the haircut showed it. Anderson’s is priced well, the haircut is as expected, great! Plenty of parking. I enjoy Mike method, but any of the staff, including the owner would do a fabulous job. I’ve checked moderate price $$ but you get a great haircut which you would pay double for anyplace for the quality

I have reviewed Anderson’s before as a long term customer myself. No question this is the best Barber Shop in town. This review relates to my toddler son whom I have recently started taking to Noah to get his haircut. To say my son dislikes getting his haircut at 1 and ½ would be an understatement. Yet despite all of his struggling, squirming and swiping at the clippers, Noah is patient and careful. People consistently make unsolicited comments about how good my son’s hair looks after he gets it cut. A lesser barber would have either given up or accidentally chopped a hunk of my son’s hair out in the process. If you have a little boy(difficult or not) take him to Noah. He’s the best.

Got my hair cut at Anderson’s today, made an appointment and came in at 12:30pm. I asked for a Flat Top and came out with a round top. I felt like someone was making love to my hair with pomade rather than cutting it. I thought I would save time by incorporating my haircut with business travel. I’ll skip this place next time. At 18.00 dollars for the haircut, I felt a little violated. I could give a shit about your free beer, is that common place now in Barber shop’s? I don’t think so. A TV and some bubble gum for the kids works just fine. Did these guy’s go to Barber college? No.

When I walked in with my boyfriend, the place was empty and they told us they didn’t have time to cut our hair, but to go to Analog. Then I called to make an appointment and they told me they«don’t cut women’s hair because they don’t have a license but to go to Analog» I have a full men’s undercut and am genderqueer. Barbering is the style of cut, not gendered. I’m glad not to be giving these jerks my business, and you shouldn’t either.

Wanted to go back to a Flat Top. Hard to find folks that give old school hair cuts. I finally found it with Austin. He took Pride in his work and did an excellent job. I will drive the 150 miles for another.

Found them doing a random search online. Top notch place for your hair. Very friendly, ask for details for what you want, and deliver. Plus they serve a great free microbrew with the cut and a straight razor neck shave. You’d be selling yourself short to go anywhere else

I’ve been going to Anderson’s for a few months now and all three of the guys who work there(their names escape me) give simple, quality men’s cuts and are straight-talking and friendly. That being said, the owner(who bought the place since the first reviews here were written) is a very unpleasant lady to talk or listen to for any amount of time. She is short with her employees and often quite rude to her customers. The conversation she makes with whoever is in her chair gives the impression of being superficial and ungenuine. Today I came in when her and the other barber were both giving cuts(one looked to be nearly finished) and asked if they had time for a walk in, to which she sharply replied«Well we both have people in our chairs, so no.» Sorry for trying to give you my money lady. I guess I won’t be seeing you again. What a shame that such a quality shop could be ruined by such a cold woman.

My experience wasn’t what I was led to expect from reviews. I wasn’t offered any sort of refreshment when I checked in for my appointment. I had asked for a haircut and shave. The haircut was OK, the shave was agonizing due to a very dull razor, which I noticed had not been honed or stropped before used on me. I ended up with nicks and abrasions from it. Overall, not reason enough for returning. YMMV…

What a great step back in time. Ash trays in the old school barber chairs, but w/a big screen TV and a can of IPA while you get a cut. Really a fun place to have your ears lowered. My son and I like to get our haircut there at the same time. Affordable, reliable, fun. Wish my dentist was this good! One of these days I’ll get up the courage to have their old fashioned straight razor shave.

Like what’s been written before, this is a great shop! In addition to the precise cut and warm-lather, straight-edge neck shave, they have beer. Need I say more? Yes. Be sure to drink the«golden ticket beer.» You can’t go wrong with this place!!!

I first went to Anderson’s after a bad haircut from Hair Masters. They did an incredible job to correct it and I have gone there ever since! FREE beer and a clean cut for a great, low price! what’s not to like???

Outstanding service… I have been enjoying this barber shop since 1974. Each time I return to the area I know I can expect the best service… my sons got their first cut there in 1976 and 1990. Friendly ladies that know their business. Looking for a place to get a cut… Anderson’s is the place.

Anderson’s does great work. Real nice ladies cut the hair here, do a great job, and don’t ask for your firstborn in return. They apply some old school touches like straight razors and hot foam to provide precision in the haircut. There’s nothing pretentious going on here. Just great haircuts at a fair price without all the baloney you find elsewhere.
