Aurora Gallery and Tattoo

I had my very first tattoo done by Wendy Kai last year. She did an amazing job with my rising phoenix tattoo on my shoulder. I frequently get compliments such as «that’s my favorite tattoo» and «that matches you so well!» Wendy Kai is truly an artist. The shop is very clean and professional.

The artists at aurora are undoubtedly talented; however I would never recommend this studio to anyone. I went in and explained what I wanted to the owner, we decided on the piece that I wanted and he was going to draw it and our appointment was to be 2 weeks later. I gave him $ 50 at his request to draw the sketch. The night before my appointment he told me he hadn’t even drawn the sketch yet, and then the morning of our appointment he cancelled over a text message. It’s been a month since then and he hasn’t responded to my messages once or returned my phone calls. I’ve visited the studio during their posted open hours and each time I’ve gone (4 times) the door is locked and no one is in there. I’ve had a terrible experience and just want my money back but they’re too unprofessional to even respond or be open during their posted hours. DON’T waste your time at aurora!

Excellent shop full of talented artists. I showed up with a few ideas in my head and Graham spent a lot of time creating his artistic take on my ideas.
I was very happy with his artwork and the precise placement and intricate application.
I have 2 pieces from him and was there with a friend to see 2 more pieces designed and applied.
Would highly recommend Graham to create an original piece or tattoo any artwork brought to him.

I live in Chico, Ca and drive all the way to Eugene just to get beautiful color realism tattoos from Clay. I get so many compliments everywhere I go! The shop is clean and the staff is always very professional and friendly. I tell people it is always worth the drive to get work done by a super talented artist.

Clay is amazing! Awesome artist has the best color I have seen :) he did my Phoenix down the side of my body about a year ago and it looks fantastic! He is really awesome positive person! Highly recommended Clay to anyone! I will be going back for more ink soon!

This was my first tattoo ever and she really made the experience a great one. She was thorough with how we wanted to set up my quote in regards to the location on my body, and really prides herself on perfecting her art, which she definitely did.
If I were ever to get a tattoo again I would definitely hit up Aurora and suggest it to anyone looking for place to go

I came here for my first tattoo yesterday. Everything was perfect about this shop. Clay was my artist and he was cool and extremely attentive. The prices are very reasonable and my tattoo came out flawless. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Top notch artists here. Very good mix of styles at this shop. Clay is the man to go to for photo realism. I have had 4 different tattoos from him and I get compliments all the time on his work. Super professional, relaxed atmosphere, and generally a fun place to hang out for a couple hours and get some art! Highly recommended. Go big! The bigger the better!

I got my 5^th tattoo from Clay. I absolutely love it. It’s in memory of my horse who passed away. I could not have asked for a better job done. I will definitely be returning to Aurora for my other tattoos!
I got three more done by Max and I absolutely love them! I can’t wait for my next tattoos!

I received my third tattoo at Aurora Gallery and Tattoo, walking in I honestly expected the atmosphere to be like the rest: smells like smoke, naked girls on the walls, and basically an uncomfortable vibe. Especially at those places i have to question the cleanliness of the utensils etc. BUT at Aurora it was the complete opposite! Walking into this place it was welcoming, nice and the hit music was playing on the station (not the rap swearing stuff) It was a nice change from the rest of them. Asked when i could receive my tattoo and I offered my availability monday, even though they were closed, Ben the front person said i could have a spot! The upcoming monday I met Clay one of the tattoo artist there and he was so nice and helpful. Warm and welcoming smile and friendly conversation as i got my tattoo. and my tattoo came out AMAZING! Definitely coming back for another tattoo and definitely having Clay as my tattoo artist!
