I always bike pass this foodcart and see a lot of people ordering food from here pretty frequently yet it never came to my mind to ever really check it out… I guess just the whole concept of «fish n chips» never really got through to me, to be honest with you, but then again, I never really had fish & chips before either… but I’m very open to everything! Ha. Anyway, so I was in the middle of flea bombing my apartment(yeah, okay so a friend of mine brought his wet dog to my place and it rolled around my carpet n shit and I was pissed. a week later(and more) I start scratching and constantly get bitten around the ankles! Not to get carried away with my ADHD moment here, I was flea bombing the place and down below stuck in the laundry room freeezingg colddd and washing like my entire closet out, hogging the washer/dryer, of course I get hungry but don’t want to venture far out where I’m leaving a pile of my clothes unattended…(…but who’d wanna steal an Asian girl’s laundrysack full of panties and other belongings… Freaks) Then it dawned on me, hey I really need to see what the rave is all about at Eric’s Fish & Chips. This adorable and sweet French guy runs the place! He’s so awesome. So when you order, you get this little punch card thing. When you buy 10, you get 1 meal free. I’ve tried the halibut($ 10.95) & the cod sandwiches($ 5.95) but not yet the shrimp or salmon. they’re all really good though, pretty large and filling! Since then, I’ve been telling people about the food cart and others say they love it. If anyone cares to know, no one stole my panties in the 10 minutes I was gone. Oh and I’m flea-free again for now!

We ordered out through pony express so I’m not 100 percent sure where our order got messed up but I was disappointed when my order came in and it was not what i had wanted. I ordered the grilled salmon but received the deep fried which is unfortunate when you’re trying to eat healthier. The breading on the fish was good but way too much, it was deceiving because it looked like large pieces of fish when in reality it was 80% batter. I ended up pulling off all of the breading. One of my pieces had a bone in it which normally doesn’t bother me on grilled fish but in fish and chips that isn’t good. The fries were not good at all like a previous reviewer said it was like McDonalds fries but worse and stale. It was way overpriced for the quality and I would have rather saved my money and not eaten lunch at all. The only positive I have for this place was their tarter sauce was pretty good. Go else where for fish and chips.

A definite steer clear. I saw that they were a new place that pony express was carrying so I went out on a limb and tried it. I ordered the halibut fish and chips. I was incredibly disappointed. The fish pieces looked plump and delicious, but then I bit into it and found almost nothing but batter. There was a small piece of fish buried in the center but it was at best 80% batter. On the positive the batter was pretty tasty, if they would have reasonable proportions it could have been good. The«chips» were equally disappointing. I was left honestly wondering if they just ran out of fries and asked the delivery girl to pick some up at McDonald’s on the way over. They were very thin, and salty, literally exactly like your average fast food chain fries. If you’re looking for fish and chips, you’ve got a lot of better options. Stick to Newman’s. I’d even recommend McGrath’s or Red Lobster above this place. Don’t waste your money.

Hands down the best fish & chips I’ve ever had! I’m going here from now on instead of Newman’s. Bonus points for having the cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen.
