In one word… meh. it wasn’t a bad experience… per se. But not a place I would choose to go back to.

Environment.check. Cool place to sit and have a beer. Selection of beer… check. Each time we have found a diverse selection to choose from. Food… check. We have been extremely pleased with each food truck. Service, bartenders… not check. Rude. Short. Curt. Today, we were informed of the two taster rule. We are choosing from 25 plus options, what brewery has a two taster rule? None that we have ever been to, ever. We have never drank and dined here alone, and our tab prior has away been significant. A rude wait staff is an easy way to solve that problem in the future.

I’m a HUGE fan of the Beergarden. Great tap selection of local, national, and international beers. You can take advantage of the good weather by sitting outside, or you can sit inside if it’s cold. T.V. for watching sporting events. Food trucks with a good selection of munchies. Just order your food and they’ll bring it to your table. Friendly waitstaff. Definitely one of the best places in Eugene for enjoying a cold one.

SO this is officially one of our go to places! Beer and wine inside at a nice bar area(my understanding is that they took all of the bar stuff from Marie Calendars when it closed — smart business)… you can get kombucha, Hawaiian Sun drinks, The cider selection is apparently awesome, and some sodas too. Water is outside so don’t bother waiting in the bar line for that. So there is seating inside. Yep… and it is comfortable and on Tuesdays they play trivia which I am a sucker for. There is seating also outside and although it used to be uncovered it is now covered with heat lamps. Or it was for winter — maybe for summer they will be taking down the tent tops hmmm hadn’t thought of that. Anyway out back… you have your choice of 5(I think) food trucks… they are all good. I love Lani Moku(I am from hawaii what do you want from me) and a few others are awesome too. Heard the BBQ place is great and the place at the end that is hotdogs and hamburgers is awesome too. Try a Cartman if you don’t mind the chance of a heartattack. They also have frito pies. Basically… you have your pick of food… The atmosphere is lively. We were there for St. Patty’s and it was fun. Give it a whirl — WE have been happy we did.

Even on a windy day this place is nice to eat outside. There’s good options for food and beer. Not too bad with prices either, I was very impressed!

The Beer Garden is a great place to have a beer and hang out with friends. There are food carts there, I had the Hawaiian food cart called Lani Moko’s there I ordered the Garlic Chicken. It was really good and would recommend it to anyone wanting Hawaiian food. Pro: Cons: Great food Needs more seating Great beer/wine Loud Covered seating Good price on food

Awesome Beer and Cider selection! Food trucks have awesome food! We went back 3days in a row for the Pineapple Cider and to try all the fold choices. We will be back again! PS try the Mooink from the Asian food cart… Wow!

Very extensive tap selection for beer and a great choice for wines! Covered back patio is well lit and garnished with heat lamps. Oh, and a shitload of carts in the back for food! Great stop!

All Aboard Barbecue food truck served me disappointing pork ribs today at The Beer Garden. Low quality undercooked meat that took 25 minutes to serve. The sweet orange in the coleslaw gave an off putting taste that I wouldn’t swallow. I could taste the msg or «natural flavoring» in the beans. Shameful.

I go here with my dad. He loves it. He loves that there’s beer and outdoor seating and food trucks of all sorts. He feels really fancy that his beer is in the right cup and he gets to tell the ladies how much he likes Deschutes and how he toured the brewery. I like all the spider plants inside growing near the skylights and the comfy chairs outside and how it’s always great in the garden — rain covers and heaters make it great in any weather. I just love being outside. We like the Hawaiian food cart. I get the pork/chicken plate with noodles. It’s great with beer. Definitely a great place to bring friends and chat and just sit for hours.

This is our favorite place to grab a beer and hang out. We love how there is always a new selection of beer to choose from. Great food carts and great atmosphere.

Beer list was average and hard to read unless you were right up to cash register to order. I wonder what they will do in the winter when it rains? Pretzel from zingaros was awesome. Brat from Mondos was average and didn’t get our mustard until my last bite of food :( I would go back to try different food, if it starts raining I’ll wait t next summer

Not much to add that others have not! I enjoy coming here because it’s a cool concept! What’s not to enjoy? You have the best of both worlds, beer connoisseurs, and food cart junkies! I have tried most of the carts here and everything I have had is really good and the food at the Zingaro truck is very creative. Must try!

Wow! Beca(who we trust) said this place was great, and she was right. We had driven by it a lot, skeptical, never stopped(beer hall in a gas station? Ohh Kayyy…). But — kinda amazingly — they got it right. It’s got tons of good beers, and lots of other fun things to drink. The carved bar is cool, the staff hip & energized, high gas station bays covered in billowing black fabric works. So the inside is good, and the outside on a nice day is even better. And their biggest genius is they figured out that instead of an average kitchen that serves average bar food and takes up space and costs money, they’d just open the gates to food trucks. Lots of them! Waffles and Italian and Mexican and Costa Rican and burgers and Hawaiian and — you name it. This is a winning formula that handles big crowds well. Welcome to Eugene!

Wow I love the beer garden. The concept is great the food good, employees are welcoming and really appreciate you being there. I bring my family, kids and all and we chill on the patio playing games(provided by them) drawing on the sidewalk and loving the vibe the food carts have something for everyone, which makes it easier for the family to pick what they want. The patio even has an umbrellas made of live foliage.

I love this concept– a variety of food carts in a fixed location, with an assortment of local craft beverages on tap, seating inside and out, with a casual and friendly vibe. Beergarden is a great place for lunch, mid-afternoon drink or snack, or dinner with friends or flying solo. The interior is a refurbished garage, with large windows that appear to be able to be raised or lowered. It was a hot afternoon, and the cool interior(with said windows closed) was a welcome reprieve from the heat. Metallic patterned panels are arranged on support beams and walls, and spider plants hang from two planters above, providing a creative use of décor at the upper eye level. There’s lots of local and regional beers poured here, with some cider and kombucha on tap as well. We chose food from the Hawaiian cart and the Costa Rican/Caribbean cart, and were pleased by the prompt and friendly service. Although we both enjoy Hawaiian food, the other plate chosen from Whapping was the preferred dish with the flavorful chicken in a herbed tomato sauce with slaw, stewed plantains, rice and beans, dressed up with a delicious tamarind sauce. Very fresh, healthy, colorful and vibrant; a welcome change of flavors and refreshing despite being a warm meal on a hot day. Beer prices average between $ 4−5/pt, and an average person may spend approximately $ 8 – 11 on a meal at a food cart, although there are smaller, ala carte items for cheaper. Vegetarians will find at least one item at each cart, too. One thing to note– patrons pay separately for drinks inside or at any cart, so be prepared to swipe your card multiple times, or bring enough cash!

It was just too friggin’ hot on a Monday evening to stay home without air conditioning, and definitely not conducive for my resident culinary genius to chef up her usual magic. Since Beergarden opened the week before to much notice, we headed out to see what the commotion was. It is yet another reclaimed space, filled with reclaimed items. In this case the Marie Callendars that went under last year near VRC provided the bar, tables, chairs, booths, ceiling tiles, and even the sneeze guard from the salad bar as a canopy over the bar. I knew that décor looked familiar. There are also the original touches like naked light bulbs strung over the tables, and what looks like a tufted bean bag-inspired ceiling treatment. The roll-up garage doors that can be opened in nice weather are a classic reminder that this used to be something other than a restaurant. The main attraction is out back. Four food trucks were parked next to the patio, offering Italian, bistro, Caribbean and Hawaiian. The Hawaiian truck wasn’t open, but the others were all doing at least some business, even though it was a fairly light crowd. We opted for a pizza at Mondo Forcella and fried mushrooms at Zingaro, but we could have sampled a whole host of other options. It’s a great idea to install trucks at a place like this, and rotate once in a while to give more variety than a kitchen can. Stoners are going to love it. Of course the 20+ beers on tap are also a things to behold, and they also have cider, wine and kombucha. We settled in with a light ale and blackberry cider, very refreshing on a hot evening. Mushrooms with truffle aioli are a step up from the usual bar snack. The pizza had mild Italian sausage and a thin Neapolitan crust with a good amount of char(that’s a good thing, people), nice texture and just a little chewy. La Perla may still be ahead of them on that score, but it’s a much better pie than you expect from a truck. Service was generally good, although they didn’t give us plates for some reason. They are open for lunch, so I hope they have more non-alcoholic options available soon. Otherwise it’s pretty much a perfect spot to while away a summer night.

A creative name that has a dual meaning(the first meaning is obvious) the second meaning works because it’s next to Gray’s garden center. there are 25 taps of beer and some ciders also wine and coming soon an awesome bottle selection too. They’ve a lovely courtyard with 4 food carts to choose from(lani moku, whapping, mondo forcella and zingaro) This place has it all. The décor on the inside is fun, copper moldings on the pillars and ceilings, chairs with fun carvings on them and a great bar. They really did an awesome job with this place. I look forward to spending a lot of time here.
