The fries are straight out of the Cisco bag, but the Reuben was really good, particularly when accompanied by a beer from one of the Beer Garden’s giant selection.

Food is super good, bacon burger on point. Frito pie! Good fries. Truffle aioli. Soft pretzels with that crazy good want-to-bathe-myself-in-it balsamic caramel sauce… Got a chance to try the cheesy crab pretzel, which I am proclaiming to the heavens to have brought back again!

Try the Cartman. You’ll hate yourself and love yourself all at the same time.

Not too impressed. Ordered The Cartman at The Beer Garden tonight. I searched high and low within this thing for the mozzarella cheese. There was absolutely no cheese in this thing leaving it a corn dog shell, deep fried bacon and the dog. I even saved the last two bites to show the people in the truck and asked if there was cheese in it. The girl pointed and said«yes right there» not specifically pointing out the exact area but pointing at the dog itself. This thing desperately needed the cheese to offset the corn dog outside and deep fried bacon. Disappointed after reading the other reviews but figured it deserved a heads up to others to make sure there is cheese in this thing. The Frito pie on the side was tasty.

Really yummy! We got the Greek plate. The grilled chicken was perfection. It came with a side of yogurt based slaw that was super fresh and crispy. Can’t wait to come back and try a burger or the«Cartman» corndog– a hot dog wrapped in bacon fried and then turned into a corndog.

Finally made a trip to the beer garden a couple of weeks ago. My Aunt gave me a Groupon for the Zingaroo so we thought we’d give it a try. From my previous checking in on Unilocal reviews, I knew that I did not need the Groupon, I would go there anyways. My wife is friends with the onwer of Lani Moku, so she had to go there. I had $ 20 to spend all by myself! I got the Billy Burger + Bacon with a side salad to share with my family and also the Cartman with poutine. Both were amazing. My wife loved the hotdog, but was full from her food so I scored and got both meals and gave her the salad. The Cartman also came with cheese dip to dunk that bad boy in. The burger had a nice spice to it, was cooked perfectly, and had a great bun. I have had many burgers around town and this is one that definalty is well worth the price. The poutine was amazing and just salty enough. The Cartman was beyond my expectations. Huge hot dog with cheese stuffed in it and wrapped in bacon then fried… Dipped in corn dog batter and fried again?! Until we meet again, friend! I only hope they try some other creations like that. Here are a couple of ideas: The Elvis: peaunut butter and pickle spear wrapped in bacon and friend, then corn dog batter. Served with peanut butter/jelly dipping sauce? Reuben: Stuffed with cheese and kraut and corned beef… wrapped in bacon, then fried with corn dog batter… Served with 1,000 island Jalapeño Popper: Stuffed with cream cheese and jalapenos, wrapped in bacon. Deep fried with the corn batter. Served with Mango Jalapeño Jelly… Just a thought. But go there, this place is great!!!

I finally convinced my beloved to try The Beergarden. Wow! What a beautiful place! Great beer selection, great food cart options. We went with The Zingaro, largely due to the specials pitched by the(I think) owner, and were not disappointed. Everything was fresh, wonderfully flavored, and creatively engineered. We’ll definitely be back!

Yumm this cart has some real good comfort type food with a few ‘healthier’ options sprinkled in for good measure. I opted for possibly the most heart attack inducing item on the menu, the Cartman. Oh wow the Cartman! This is like the corn dog of the century. Food like this having an earthly existence is definitely one of many reasons why i am fat.(or as Eric Cartman would say ‘i’m not fat i’m big boned’ LOL) I mean, it’s a corn dog wrapped in bacon and then battered and deep fried. Oh, and it is served with fries and cheese sauce, ya know for dippin’. These guys are one of the four carts at the Beergarden now which is great cause their food is so perfect with beer. If you ever are thinking about going on a diet, your last meal before going on said diet should be the Cartman.

OK «brown food» — meaning fried. The fries are reminiscent of something one might get at Red Robin. I mean, they’re fries, it’s hard to screw up fries — and any fry is a good fry. They’re OK. The kids menu, as with most places, is severely WANTING. Do I want fries with the quesadilla? Or a «salad» or chili… No. I want something a little more inventive. They’re parked in the new Beergarden. next to Grey’s Garden center 7 days a week. Yes. Perfect fit. Drunk people food.

I am loving the caprese dog! It’s packed with flavor in every bite! I’m a sucker for the tomatoes, and fresh basil! I usually am not a dog person but, this one is my guilty pleasure I guess! The other day the friendly staff had me try another delicious menu item, I believe it was their Elvis delight? Not for sure on the name but it has Elvis in it because it is a burger, with peanut butter, banana, and bacon with a brioche bun. I love anything with peanut butter pretty much! This was pretty good! I like how creative this truck is, and they are an awesome bunch! I have yet to try other menu items, but I know I will be back for more. Ok you have got to try the Zing mi, and the chicken wrap! Still have yet to try the Cartman. I know plenty of people that also enjoy the Billy burger, but I can’t do spicy to much any more.

Zingaro is Italian for Gypsy. So, The Gypsy, is often traveling from place to place, peddaling their grub. We always spot this truck whenever we go over to Oakshire. The last time I visited Oakshire, I was starving and The Gypsy was hanging around. They have a decent menu, however I chose the simple Burger and Fries for $ 6. I wasn’t too thrilled with the fries, I like mine crispy on the outside, and these were just kinda… bluh. However the burger was surprisingly good. Tasted fresh, and reminded me of a well thought out Pub burger. I seen a few people order a hot dog from here that looked rather devine. From what I remember it was wrapped in bacon as well. A hot dog wrapped in bacon? I’ll sign up for a heart attack any day! That thing is next on my list of things to try from this cart. I hope Eugene keeps seeing more food carts show up. I love the unique style these carts have been bringing to local businesses.

These people love what they do, and that love is reflected in the amazing and quirky food that they create. The offerings sound bizarre at first, but they are flavor matches made in heaven. What did I like the most? The fact that who I presume to be the owner came out of the truck to tell us all of the fun facts about where the food is sourced and give us a run down of what each menu item is. It was a really nice touch and it was greatly appreciated. I ordered The Cartman with the side of the Frito Pie… was it good? I wanted to write a love letter to it right then and there, and also to the gentlemen that created such an amazing masterpiece. It was seriously tasty. It was flavorful, dripping with fat, and it was weird. When it was explained to me what The Cartman was I thought I was ordering something made by the folks of Epic Meal Time… only it was a manageable portion: D Seriously, this is a premium hot dog, wrapped in bacon, stuffed with mozzarella, and then battered in corn bread & served to you on a stick… it does not get much better than that. Would I recommend? Heck yeah! Give this place a try. Good food from good people.

We really enjoyed the food they offered outside Oakshire brewing. My wife had the caprese dog with sweet potato fries. I had the Breaking Bad dog with regular fries. Some folks try to cover up a mediocre dog with toppings. Not these folks. A great dog accompanied by fresh toppings equals very pleasing food! Give them a shot if ya sewer them around. I will.

AWESOME!!! And such an innovative approach to some ‘basics’ that are nothing close to basic after Zingaro gets a hold of them… seek them out, totally worth it! Amazing flavors involving things like bacon, quest, New Mexico green chile… what more does one need?!! This is what food trucks were meant to be!

This is what food trucks are all about. Friendly people who are not restrained by normal menus and are defined by their unique flavors and tastes. Zingaro is definitely full of fresh flavor. By fresh I mean quality fresh ingredients as well as the flavor. I’ve tried their caprese burger, caprese dog and one of their corn dogs and would recommend them to anyone. Their french fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. In fact everything has been great, amazing really. Definitely not your normal burger or hot dog. I look forward to trying their seasonal specials. Welcome to Eugene Zingaro, please don’t ever leave!

Damn, you folks in Oregon are lucky! These guys started out in Albuquerque, and were a hit with the locals. I tried their food on the recommendation of a friend, and was instantly hooked. I followed this food truck all over town just to munch on their goods. I even crashed an employee only party at Intel to get some grub once. If I could follow these guys to Oregon I would, but that’s one helluv a commute! I’ve had just about everything on their menu, but my absolute favorite has to be the Caprese Burger: tomato infused patty cooked to perfection, laid atop fresh basil, tomato, mozzarella, and doused in a healthy helping of balsamic vinaigrette. My second favorite item would have to be the Caprese Dog: same ingredients, but the dog is stuffed with mozzarella, and wrapped with bacon before being stuffed into a hot dog bun. Of course its a winner – its a bacon wrapped dog stuffed with cheese! The Kristine Burger is also bomb diggity. That over easy egg makes the burger for me. If I’m feeling really exotic I’ll spring for a Bahn Mi Burger: Vietnamese inspired flavors packed into a burger. The seasonal specials are equally mouth watering and awesome. Every so often they’ll bust out one of the best Schnitzels I’ve ever had. Pumpkin soup in the fall/winter. Chili made with local stout. They are really quite creative with their menu. They use local produce, and everything is cooked to order and fresh. These guys handle special requests too. Are you on a low carb diet? Doing the Paleo thing? No problem, they can turn that burger into a salad for you. Are you allergic to something? They’ll leave it out. Do you want to challenge the chef and ask him to create something with peanut butter, mint, and bananas? He’ll do that too, but you better be willing to eat it cuz he’s going to want to know what you think. Truly some of the best food I’ve ever had anywhere. The folks are also super friendly, and down to earth. So, what are you waiting for? Check these guys out, and order a Caprese Burger for me since I can’t get one myself! Don’t hate! Participate!

This is drunk people food. It would explain why they’re parked many nights at the end of the week at 8th& Charnelton fom 7pm till 3am-ish. The Zingaro. Sounds exotic, no? Makes me think I could order tilapia tacos with harissa or a rice bowl topped with Chinese five spice-dusted pork belly. But no: this truck serves burgers and dogs and a Frito pie. They do try to mix it up with things like a Caprese burger(mozzarella cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, fresh basil and tomato) and a hot dog stuffed with blue cheese, wrapped in bacon and deep fried. We had the Train Wreck, aka a chili cheese burger. Burger patty cooked well done on a decent bun splashed with cheeze sauce(think 7 – 11 drunk run). Vegan chili was very beany but difficult to judge with so little of it. Topped with diced tomatoes pickled jalapeño slices and black olives. The fries were mediocre — not too soft, not very crispy and under-salted. True confession: I’d woof this down after six pints.
