THIS IS A REVIEW FOR GREEN BURRITO NOT CARLS JR. It is a co branded restaurant with Carls Jr. and while I think there should be a separate review area for Green Burrito, Unilocal disagrees so here ya go.
I am a fast food junkie and after landing very late and getting to my hotel there were not a lot of options. Green Burrito was open so off I went. Years ago I frequented the Green Burrito chain. I was a junkie for their signature «Green Burrito». Delicious Charbroiled chicken, guacamole, fresh salsa, and shredded cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla. Then it was smothered in their salsa verde. Mmmmmm! I was so ready to get that and when I pulled up I was told they got rid of that years ago. So I ordered two beef soft tacos and they were loaded with ground beef and were good but also a let down. How could they get rid of the signature item? I checked the website and there is no mention. So sad.

I have to say that my most recent experience with this establishment, was phenomenal! We have avoided this place for a while because of terrible service and missing/messed up food orders. Today was a joy. Counter server Brandon was friendly, efficient and patient. He suggested items asked us to upsize and re read the order to be certain it was correct. He had impeccable manners and attention to detail. Our order was to go. He had our drinks in a carrier and all the orders were bagged as ordered so each individual could have their own meal in a separate bag. The food was fresh and delivered in a timely manner. I want this location to know they have a star employee in Brandon. We will definitely return because his service to us really was memorable and efficient and it was nice to feel like our patronage was important and mattered. Thanks for a great experience. Keep up the good work.

Tried the Mile High Bacon Burger this evening. Wow, what a ten dollar disappointment. Piled high with bacon? No. No it wasn’t. There was a mound in the very middle about three inches in diameter and half inch thick at the very center in a very pile like shape. And this is fun! Know how the bacon in the commercial is piled high and crispy in pieces that look like strips?! My bacon was diced into little pieces amd derned near raw!
And my large fries were like McDonald’s medium sized fries. This was a total fail. The meat didn’t even have a good color. Is it really grade A beef? And is it real?
Well, hate to be negative but my stomach is still turning from the half burger I put down. It’s been a year or better since I’ve been there and see no reason to waste my money or put my stomach through that any time soon.
