Don’t use these guys! I have never written a review — positive or negative for a business, but I am so frustrated with Cascade Garden Equipment I decided to share my experience as a way to try and alleviate that frustration. Only 2 other reviews have been submitted, but they both validated my experience. I have been taking mowers to this place for 3 years. I have some rentals that I supply with mowers, so I usually bring in 2 or 3 each spring to get tuned up. Twice now a mower has gotten lost in their seemingly non-existent organizational system and they’ve had it forever. As of today, I still do not have my mower and I brought it to them on March 30th, 2015. That was almost 6 weeks ago. When I brought the mowers in I was told 1 week, as the other reviewer said. Heard nothing after about a week and a half, so called. Was told one was ready, the other needed parts and would be ready in about another week. I wanted to avoid going out twice to get 1 mower each time, so waited for the promised call. Of course it never came. I called again, was told they didn’t know whether the part had come in, but there was a big pile of boxes waiting to be opened and they’d check. The next time I called, problem was that instead of a lifter for each side of the mower being sent, 2 lifters for the same side were sent. I finally went and picked up the 1st mower(and paid about $ 150) b/c it had been close to a month by now and the grass keeps growing! At that point I expressed my frustration directly to them — how long it had been, how nothing seems to progress unless I called, how I was having to come back two times to get 2 mowers b/c it was taking so long to get the 2nd fixed, how this had happened another year when I brought mowers to them. The response I got was a lot of explaining, which really just sounded like excuses. I had to ASK to have the 2nd mower delivered to my house free of charge! I had to ask for that! That was 2 weeks ago. They FINALLY called me over the weekend to tell me what I owed — over $ 200 — and ask if they could deliver it, reiterating the delivery would have no charge. I have since paid for it, but still haven’t heard when it will be delivered. I will not be back. Twice is more than enough torture. Plenty of other options.

Walked in here to get a quote on a tune up for my mower, the owner behind the counter didn’t greet me or make eye contact after standing in front of him for almost 5 minutes. I had to initiate conversation for him to look up from his book that he was looking at. He quoted me almost 3 times what all other places are asking… apparently he doesn’t believe in the good custom service in to sales approach. If he acts this way, then I’m afraid to see how his employees do their job. I’ll never take my business here.

Don’t bother using this place. I’ve used them once before to have a lawn mower tuned & they did a decent job. So, I brought in 2 blowers for service & was told they would be ready in 1 week. A week & a half later I call to see if they’re ready & I’m told they’ll be done within the next 2 days. So, here it is 3 weeks later & I still don’t have my blowers & I’m told they will be done tomorrow. Yeah right! I drove down, explained the situation & told them that I wanted my blowers. They brought them out & put in my truck. They hasn’t even been touched. I said as much & the owner just looked at me and said sorry. Nothing more, nothing less. He turned & walked back into the shop area. If he was truly sorry, he would have offered to do it right then or offered a discount. But no, I get back 2 blowers 3 weeks later, in the same condition I brought them in. Obviously these guys are busy enough that they don’t need any more work.
