Every time I call, some here is able to help me with cabinet drawer parts. I can relay what I am looking for, even if I am not sure, and they can ask me the right questions so that I can get the correct parts. They do get busy and sometimes I have to wait a little bit, but I have never had an issue with their help or knowledge to get me the parts I need for my job.

I came in for help because of bracket mount. The person said I needed to bring in the track. Drove home and got it. S ales person said she would help me, proceeded to disappear, and answer to lengthy phone calls before she went to find someone who could help. Another person slowly came out, and was of no help. Maybe they treat contractors better, but if you just need to find some parts for cabinets for your own home, expect to be ignored and treated poorly.

We were directed to Maverick by a salesman at Jerry’s, a local big-box home products store that’s like a Home Depot on steroids; nonetheless, they don’t handle everything well and we appreciated the suggestion that we shop for our cabinet hinges at Maverick, and at first, I was really glad that we did. As time went on, however, my rating of this business has had to be modified downward. I now can see why another reviewer gave Maverick Hardware only a one-star rating, but the sales person who helped us was real nice gave us excellent directions and advice, and in all ways treated us well. We also thought he answered our questions accurately, but came to find out that he had not. We bought over $ 350 worth of hinges on the first visit, but after installing them went back to see if there was a way to make the doors close more slowly. The salesman sold us some devices that worked for that purpose, but on a third trip back to the store I learned there were hinges that were self-closing, that didn’t need the extra devices, and that actually took up less room. It would have been nice to have known about these products before we spend a bundle on the first hinges, etc. We ended up replacing them with the better products and, because of their strict no-return policy, we were stuck with the other hinges, etc. Not only that, but when ordering the new hinges, I misunderstood the salesman and bought twice as many hinges as I needed for the project! Again, because of their uncompromising no-return policy, we now have a huge supply of Euro hinges we’ll have to try to sell on eBay. Unfortunately, aside from the big box stores, this may be the only game in town for cabinet hardware. Caveat emptor!

Sullen sales person went off on me for touching a display. Not the way to treat a customer. NOT going back ever.
