Dandelions Flowers

Bad service. Flowers delivered to wrong adress … just left by front door of rental multiunit. Without following up if they arrived. $ 75.-

This review should have been made earlier but better late than never.
It’s difficult to find a good florist, especially when you’re grieving. Unfortunately when my best friend’s father passed away, I made the mistake of contacting Dandelions. They were unhelpful and not willing to work with us with our needs. We didn’t need arrangements, we just needed stems given the set up that was being developed in the wake of our tragedy. They cattily told me they don’t sell flowers in boxes like they arrive from the wholesaler and sent us on our way to figure something else out.
Being in the floral business years ago, I know the attitude all too well but I thought that I’d give it a chance at least. Nope, still would rather just skip the stuck up tune and go about it a different way.
As usual, I like to remind folks that the flowers you see in the supermarkets, whereas they may not be properly cared for all the time given the circumstances are the exact same stems, from the exact same farms that florists like Dandelions work with. They’re only more expensive due to the overhead of a small business and the «creativity» that’s involved.
Be kind to people, word of mouth is important. Which Dandelions seems to understand since they have so many filtered high-​rated posts on here. Classic.

I called from San Francisco to have flowers delivered to my best friend in Eugene. The flowers were delivered within 2 hours!!! Amazing customer service!!!

I had originally ordered an Orchid for my wife online cause she loves flowers or whatever. And I came to pick it up, and to be honest I wasn’t too happy. So being a guy and not thinking the flower was worth the money I paid out, I had to come back and return it cause i Knew my wife wouldn’t be a fan. The Staff was so nice and understanding that they let me get something different. And they put together a beautiful Hawaiian Ginger with some other stuff (I posted a picture) at no extra charge. I was happy, my wife was REALLY Happy and so I had to give Dandelions Flowers a 5 star for such an awesome experience.

I called Dandelions to create a bouquet for my daughter’s sorority initiation. Price was less of a concern than creating a beautiful arrangement, and I told them this when I called the order in. I was really disappointed when I saw the arrangement, and to be honest a little embarrassed when I looked at arrangements sent by other parents. For $ 65.95 (including delivery), there were three iris, three roses, three hydrangeas (one drooping over the side, completely wilted and dead) and a couple spikes of greenery. Not very happy. :0(

We came here to order flowers for a funeral. The staff were extremely friendly and patient with our indecisiveness and offered good suggestions. The place smelled wonderful and was well organized.
The parking lot was small, and be careful going in, as there is a bit of a lip on the driveway. There is a copy shop around the corner which you also should patronize, as they’re friendly and inexpensive (the woman there cautioned me about my untied shoelaces in a not-​very-​patronizing way).
My mother also left her fleece jacket here by mistake and they kept it for us until we returned.
The only sad thing is that they’re named after an invasive species.
