I love this place! I’ve been going since they opened… well, and before, when most everyone was at another location. Everyone is attentive and friendly, I’ve never had any issue with appointments or rescheduling. I highly recommend Angela for waxing, but have been to other people there as well for hair cuts and other services and have always had great experiences. I have recommended this place to many friends and they all rave about it as well. Comfortable, professional and fun!

I had the worst customer service experience ever when dealing with Kristi Siroston at Dulce Spa. I purchased a living social deal which included a pedicure. A little over a month before the deal expired I called and left a voice message with my name, along with the dates that would work for me to schedule the appointment. I gave my number at the beginning and the end of my message. A week later I had yet to receive a call back. I called again and the person who answered the phone said they had written down the wrong number for me. I explained how I lived about 2 hours away and would need a weekend appointment. At the time I initially called, there were 3 weekends prior to the expiration date by which to schedule the appointment. I was told that the weekend appointments had been booked up for a long time and that the only way they would get me in under the offer price was for me to come in during the week. I work full time and could not take time off from work to drive to Eugene for a pedicure. I asked if they would be willing to offer me the living social deal price at their next available weekend appointment since they were currently booked and I was told that no, I’d have to pay the difference. About a week later I sent an email asking if the spa would reconsider allowing me to come in on a later weekend under the living social deal price or if they would refund my money, minus any fees that they may have incurred by offering the service via living social since I was not able to receive the service I paid for. Here is an excerpt from my email: «If you are unable to provide me with the service that I paid for, it is unfair that you then choose to keep my money. If there are fees that you pay toward each Living Social purchase, I would be happy to have that fee discounted from the money that I’ve paid. I don’t want you to lose money over this. However, I also would appreciate if you didn’t want me to lose money over a service I was not able to receive due to your schedule being full and your unwillingness to provide the service at your next available weekend.» Here is an excerpt from the email I received in response from Kristi: «Regardless of all of that you will still have to pay the difference of the Living Social price and our regular price. If I understand the message correctly you actually bought the packaged pedicure & facial which would be a difference of $ 27.50 per service. I will not be able to refund your money & it’s my understanding that Living Social won’t either. There was 6 ½ months to schedule your appointment and in my eyes that is more than enough time to get the appointments taken care of. If you are unwilling to comply with this then I think you should just cut your loss as a lesson learned. There is nothing more that I can do to make you happy. It is sad that you feel you have to trash my name & business for your overlooking the deadline. appointment.» In response to her email, I’d like to point out that I didn’t overlook the deadline, I called over a month before it expired but never received a call back. I also take no pleasure in leaving negative reviews for businesses, in fact this is the first negative review I’ve ever left on Unilocal.However, before leaving this negative review, I attempted to resolve the situation first by either still receiving the service I paid for or by getting my money back, minus any fees Kristi may have incurred. The response I received from Kristi was beyond rude and unprofessional and the fact that she feels it is ok to keep my money without providing me with a service is wrong.

My brow gal Jen and a few coworkers just opened this great new salon! Jen is fantastic with waxing and I never leave disappointed! When I moved to Eugene I found Jen after many months of searching. I have never been to another esthetician since! I absolutely adore Jen. She is so personable and sweet. She is meticulous with my brows which I truly appreciate. She sees so many people every month but somehow remembers all of the little details that I like for a brow wax. Jen is fabulous and would refer all of my Friends to her!
