DUX Bistro

I wish I was in college at UO again JUST so I can eat salad at Dux Bistro. Let me tell you, this place has THE best Caesar salad in the state of Oregon! Portions are generous and everything — the dressing, lettuce, Parmesan cheese, croutons, pita bread — tastes incredible! & that is an understatement. The price is very reasonable for the amount and quality of salad you’re getting. You can get a half size or full size and even just the half size alone is enough to keep you full until your next meal.
I have been in search for better Caesar salad, and I have yet to find it. If I am ever in Eugene, this is where I’ll stop to eat. Get it; your taste buds will thank you. My saliva glands are literally activating right now just thinking about it.

To My Annoying Roommate,
Even though we are no longer dorming, I’d pick the dorm food over your «cooking». Since I’ve moved out, I really miss eating at DUX Bistro. But just because I’m not still counting food points for this term’s housing credit, doesn’t mean I can’t still eat there.
I like it here cause it’s a healthier choice for student eating (aka late night fast food & drive thrus). They have Bistro sandwiches you can choose from, but you can also custom order 6″ or 12″ in sandwiches. But my favorite has to be the salads and soup. I could not resist their cheddar & broccoli soup or the tomato bisque! As far as the salads, it’s similar to subway, where you can pick-​out what you want in it. Got coffees, espressos, teas and smoothies…
It’s just a little irritating when you go 15-​min to the top of hour, especially around lunch time, cause that’s when all the students are getting their food. If you’re ordering a sandwich, be prepared to wait…
I think you, my dear, should start eating a little healthier… get rid of that freshman 15!
