Footwise

LOVE this store! They carry a wide array of comfort shoes (that don’t always look like the typical «comfort» shoe). I love Birkenstocks and this is the place to go if you’re in the market for a new pair. I brought my old ones in to reference the style I wanted and the sales associate informed me that Footwise repairs old Birkenstocks! I was sure that they were toast, so I put them in for repair AND bought a new pair! The staff is SUPER knowledgable (they explained everything about the construction of the shoes down to what the soles are made of) and friendly. Footwise is a local business so you can feel good about shopping there. I’ve been back a few times since my last shopping experience and it’s always great to see what the girls are wearing too. If you want a great experience, where the sales staff isn’t breathing down your neck or being pushy, this is the place to go! Also they carry Hobo & Ellington handbags which are two of my favorite brands. Really I can’t say enough about this business.

I love Eugene! We love supporting local business’s also. We were in town for a wedding from portland and needed a new pair of Tevas for my boyfriend. We stopped in here to check them out and were thoroughly disappointed in the customer service. The lady who greeted us was beyond rude. She corrected us on the pronunciation on Teva– and was snooty about it. Also very unhelpful to where we can find them. They only had 2 sizes. Will never go back there again. Also, this lady need to understand that customers are friendly, we were wanting to BUY a pair and she was nothing but «too good» for us.

I love shoes! And this place is packed full of them. Find all your favorite brands from dansko, to Birki’s to Crocs. They have a pretty small selection of brands other than Birk’s, but can order anything in.
They also do shoe repairs and keep your info in the computer, which can be helpful if you don’t recall what sixe you bought last time.
They also carry a nice selection of wool socks!
