I attended John’s Cinco de Mayo Mexican Fiesta cooking class and had a blast! Our class started off with making Tomato-Tomatillo Salsa and fresh Cantina Guacamole, then we made Chicken Mole Enchiladas, Spicy green Tomatillo-Chili rice, and Black Bean Salad with Queso fresco. Not only was the food to die for delicious but of the other attendees brought a professional margarita setup for all of us and he was nice enjoy to teach me his technique on making the perfect margarita. The class was fun, engaging, and very educational. Plus, john shared a wealth of knowledge about cooking techniques, ingredient knowledge, food science, and so much more. The best part of the night came when we sat down around his dinner table and enjoyed our delicious meal and great conversation. This was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back for another class in the future. I highly recommend a KitchOut cooking class and pick up a copy of John’s new cookbook:
