As previously mentioned, you can normally find Dr Gross at 2460 Willamette St unless he’s performing surgery at the Oak St address. I’ve visited several opthamologists in Eugene over the years, but chose Dr Gross to perform my cataract surgery. His staff is excellent, appointments are handled punctually(unlike the meat market that’s located on Oak St – surgery center excluded) and Dr Gross always seemed to have time for my many questions. In fact, he talked me out of the super-expensive lens implants that seem part of the sales strategy on Oak St by simply asking what I would expect out of the more expensive product. What they won’t tell you at the other clinic is that roughly 50% of people who pay for the«Cadillac of implants» are unhappy with the result. Don’t take my word… Google it. I’m six weeks out of surgery and I can see better than I have in years. Generally, I only wear glasses for heavy reading now. Dr Gross and staff get my highest recommendation.

Dr. Jason Gross is new to this clinic but he’s excellent. The eye surgery staff here are caring, thorough, organized and detail oriented. When my mom had eye surgery they took excellent care of her: before, during and after surgery. I’d highly recommend Dr. Gross to anyone looking for an excellent opthamologist who specializes in cataract, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and comprehensive eye care. Dr. Gross performs surgery at the Oregon Eye Associates office, but his group practice is at 2460 Willamette St.
