Great stop for quick and late night food. I got the gyro. The serving sizes are generous and fresh. The service was quick. Glad to have such a healthy option open late.

Late night pitas? Totally. They’re usually quick & friendly .plus tons of choices for ingredients & sauces. If you need something healthier than fast food late night on the fly, stop by! Hahh that rhymed

It’s like Subway but a million times better! I’ve always enjoyed Pita Pit. I’m not a big bread person, so that’s what makes this better than Subway for me, and they’ve got different veggie choices. They grill their meats, not just toast or microwave them. Which means you can request grilled veggies too. I’m in love with grilled mushrooms on my pita. I always get«the local» and add avocado to it and have them grill my mushrooms. The restaurant itself is incredibly tiny and has sort of a dive feel to it. I wouldn’t recommend letting anything you’re eating touch the table, because who knows when it was last cleaned. My husband and I typically get our food to go and eat at home. They are open super late, 3am. So if you’re a college student cramming for an exam, this is perfect for you! It’s delicious, fresh and an easy/filling meal on the go, or at the end of a long day.

This place has reaaalllly gone downhill. Dirty lobby, rude server, out of Souvlaki, out of cucumbers(!), got the ingredients mixed up between orders, slow. Did I mention how rude the server was? It’s only virtue is the late closing time. Years ago this place was a favorite. No longer!!!

Pita Pit is a good resource at 2am. But, consecutive times I’ve came here, they’ve been«out» of feta, peperoncinis, and other essential elements that make me wonder wtf is going on. This happens every time i come in. First time is understandable, second is unusual, and third plus is unacceptable. Get your **** together. Not coming back until then.

Ordered my fav again, Gyro with extra meat and feta! Still delicious, still HUGE, still fresh and tasty! I enjoyed ordering through Hungry Duck because it told me the driver’s name and updates throughout my Pita’s travels!

It’s my Monday night dinner stop on my way home. They make it just how I want it and have great suggestions.

I always stop here Monday nights after my softball games, because this place is open late and I want something fresh & semi healthy compared to stopping at Burrito Boy. The only guy working there(I think his name is Alex) is super awesome and really makes a damn fine pita. My favorite is the chicken souvlaki and my boyfriend likes the buffalo chicken. The only downside is parking can be a real bitch if I don’t go later in the evening, but its worth it if I have to drive around a few times to find a spot.

The last few times I have been in here they have been out if numerous items such as steak, bacon, ham and more. When they have the ingredients they are decent. It’s just not worth spending my time to go there and wait in line to find out that they are out of some m a in ingredients. Definitely a waste of my lunch time.

wow absolutely great service! everytime I order pita pit to my apartment(because i am too lazy to go all the way to the store), i’m so thankful that they are open so late at night. whenever i write that i need good luck studying under the«special delivery instructions», they always write me great motivational notes as well. i always get the chicken pita with the chipotle sauce and all the toppings and it’s like heaven in my mouth and so worth the $ 3.99 delivery fee. also the owners are SO friendly. i’d rate it a 11⁄10 i would date their pitas if i could

Will never go back. This location has gone downhill. They blame corporate for making them display a menu that displays items that this location does not supply. Parking is horrible and the wait is long. Neither of these are worth fighting only to pay so much for the limited items they carry without knowing for sure until you try and order.

Sure they run out of things, sure it can be tough to park, sure the hours can be hit or miss but one thing is for sure the pita pit is darn tasty! Love every pita here and love how there are veggie options for the veggie lover in the family.

This Pita Pit is the pits. The only way it’d get more pity out of me is if were based in Pittsburgh instead of Eugene. All the pitiful puns of the world can’t manage to save what might be one of the less stellar locations I’ve ever visited. As far as I know this is the only Pita Pit in the city, so these 2 stars should serve as a warning to all visitors. First of all, let’s not pretend the food is unique or high quality in any way. Chains don’t have be rated for the above, but they certainly have to meet some level of consistency. I haven’t yet had a pita here where I’ve finished yearning for more. To make matters worse, these pitas are messy to eat. Doesn’t matter if it’s the black bean or gyro stuffed, it’s all going to spill out on the plate /napkin eventually. The prices are what they are, the gripes people have with it are notable, but chains are at least the most consistent with this aspect. I wish the service was better — most of the folks I’ve encountered here don’t seem very warm or friendly. I certainly wouldn’t blame them, slowly stuffing pitas with mediocre execution would make me irritable too. Kudos to the über clean bathroom and solid parking options. It is unfortunately, about all they have going for them. Such a pity.

My favorite part of my first time at the Pita Pit was my Pita ripping and spilling its guts all over the counter. I watched the lady grab fistfuls of filling and stuff it into a new pita. Total Turnoff. At least it wasn’t a first date… It gets better that I just happened to get mushrooms in my pita when I didn’t ask for them. My buddy ended up with olives in his. If you have food allergy’s I would strongly suggest not eating here. 3 tiny tables with about 6 chairs, not the best to sit down. It is definitely a to-go option and it sits across from the Eugene station.

We use to love pita pit and ordered frequently, not sure what happened within the last few months but the quality has droped significantly. The people that work here dont know whats going on, and the food no longer tastesfresh. They put hardly anything in your pita aswell. Realy sad, i miss the old pita pit. Get it together so i can change this review back to what pita pit deserves, which was 5 stars.

I am writing this review almost 2HOURS after ordering lunch for our employees & requesting delivery. I was told on the phone it would be 45 minutes to an hour for lunch to show up. Not only isn’t it here almost 2 hours later but they’re NOT answering the phone. As I was typing this review they FINALLY showed up. VERYDISAPPOINTED in this kinda service. Will NEVER order from ‘em again! Peace out, Pita Pit!

Awesome food! Awesome service! I keep bringing in colleagues and friends to try it out, and they are instantly hooked. Not alot of seating, so sometimes have to go eat in the car, and sometimes you have to hunt for a parking spot — but the pita is definitely worth it!

Pita Pit is Jerome’s favorite restaurant. So, when I let him know that Pita Pit is a chain, he insisted we review it next. I suppose this anecdote would make more sense if I covered the criteria we use for choosing which restaurants to review. There are only two: the restaurant must have a dine-in option, and it must be a chain with locations outside of Oregon. Pita Pit, a Canadian company with 350 locations, fits the bill. The first Pita Pit opened its doors in 1995 in Kingston, Ontario, which is apparently someplace in Canada. It was founded by John Sotiriadis and Nelson Lang. In all my research, I was unable to find any special corporate mythology about Pita Pit. This will likely be its undoing. Looking at its website, Pita Pit positions itself as a low-carb alternative to burgers, pizzas, and submarines. Judging from the nutritional facts(which it is not legally required to be honest about), the menu is fairly healthy. Pita Pit celebrates offering fresh ingredients, and our experience would not suggest otherwise. Though, would any restaurants advertise ingredients that are not fresh? More:

First off I want to express how extremely sad I am to have to write this review. I have been to several Pita Pits in Northern California and Southern Oregon, and I have never, NEVER had a negative experience… until I tried to eat at the Eugene location. When I first walked up I tried to find the hours on the door so I knew I wasn’t walking in 15 minutes before closing. They were not posted. I did see a sign, however, stating something really rude which I wish I could remember verbatim, but I remember it saying something at the end like, «We don’t want to hear your life story, and neither do our customers.» What is that all about? When I ordered I tried to use the punch card I was given at another location – denied. Apparently the owner, J.T., does not like to offer or participate in any type of promotion. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way, but I proceeded to order and pay for a falafel pita w/avocado, which was about $ 1 more than other locations I’ve been to. I also tipped the workers at that time, more than I usually do for a sandwich, because(1) I was happy to have someone make something delicious for me at midnight.(2) The guy was pretty friendly, but not overly fake-friendly.(3) I could tell they were very busy with phone orders coming in and customers on either side of me, and I felt bad for them. As I waited patiently for one girl to make about 5 pitas for two people, I noticed the guy who took my order putting some kind of weird meat next to my falafel, chop it up and smash it down with the utensils, then use the same utensils on my falafel! At every other location I’ve visited I’ve always been given the option to have my falafel either microwaved or put on a «veggie» grill. I’ve even seen workers be so conscientious about vegetarians that they change their gloves after touching the OUTSIDE of a meat pita before they touched mine. I thought that was standard for Pita Pit, but apparently not. The workers at this location don’t care. I got a refund for my food, but I felt really rude asking for my tip back, so I didn’t, even though they DIDNOT deserve it. They couldn’t even remake my food for me because they only have one grill which is constantly drenched in death juice. It didn’t matter, though, because watching them made me lose my appetite, anyway. Boo to you, J.T. You are single-handedly giving Pita Pit a bad name. You’ll be hearing from me in your inbox very soon, and so will the corporate office. Customers expect consistency from franchise chain restaurants. You get an «F».

This 5 star review is me being all kinds of excited for something other than Chinese/Pizza being delivered after 10pm, AND being delivered out west off Barger. You can’t tell me you haven’t had the conversation in the evening that ends up, «What do you wanna do for dinner?» It’s late, you may have had a drink or 12, and you need to eat. Cupboards are boring, you just had pizza last night, Chinese leaves you hungry 60 minutes later, bitch bitch bitch… But who the hell else delivers OUTHERE this time of night!!! Pita Pit to the rescue. I dont know how in the hell Pita Pit came up, but my wife called and confirmed that they would deliver to us, and not only would they deliver at 10 pm, delivery was running till midnight! «Are you shitting me?» Is was I kept repeating for the next 20 minutes. I was happily awakened 30 minutes later from my drunken slumber to a huge pita over flowing with good stuff. And I recite from the receipt: The Local: Black Beans, Carrots, Cilantro, Corn, Cucumnber, Gorgonzola, Green Peppers, hot Peppers, Jalapenos, Lettuce, Mushroom, Olive, Onion, Pickles, Pineapple, Romaine, Spinach, Tomato, Jalapeño Ranch Sauce, Secret Sauce. Deliver Charge: $ 2.00 $ 16.50 including Delivery Charge All that good stuff swaddled in a pita wrap was a thing of beauty. Clearly it’s no culinary masterpiece, but for what it is, being delivered at the time it was, and as much as I enjoyed it, they deserve all 5 stars.

I had a pita because they were free at work. I had stopped into a pita pit before and thought the prices were too high, but now that I’ve had one, I can say with authority that was pretty good. I will say this, better tomatoes than subway, good gyro meat and sauce, but I’m still hungry, unlike subway. So, meh, pretty tasty gyro, but I would have to eat two to be satisfied.
