I’m assuming they’re good when you go there and do some very regular stuff, but when T-mobile just launches a new policy, they’re not good at that. The attitude was fine — ok, but the stuff there were not knowledgable at all, they didn’t even know how their new iphone Jump! On Demand works, and told me that I was not eligible for that promotion, which was completely false. T-mobile needs to train their store employees better when a big new policy launches. Will not visit this store anymore, such a waste of time.

We just had the absolute WORST customer service here. Going in to the store with smiles about getting a new phone, we were talked down to, pressured, and they made us feel like morons. After several rude comments made we finally made a comment. The one rude gentleman left and we got anther guy who was very nice and somewhat made up for the other guy. I don’t know if we will be back to this location.

Started my service with T-Mobile about two years ago after leaving sprint for billing issues. Ryan was awesome!!! He set me up with a great plan that saves me a lot of money from my old service. I have never been treated so good before. The reps there are always polite and respect me and actually listen. If I pay my bill a little late sometimes they still take care of me and make me feel really valued. I can even get an upgrade anytime I want! Best decision I ever made.

Since I’m a person without a lot of knowledge of the dozen different plans and vocabulary used to describe these plans, I need explanations that I can understand. The sales rep(who I will not name at this time) was the type of person to not listen, repeat the same explanation over and over and eventually became very unprofessional and belittling because I couldn’t understand what he was trying to explain. After I asked the other sales rep(a wonderful woman who explained things very clearly) if he had any sales training, he tells her I’m a «retard» right in front of me. Beside that being wrong in every sense of professionalism, it is also a very derogatory term for the developmentally disabled. I’m going to talk with his manager tomorrow and see how this situation is handled. If TMobile allows this type of behavior from their sales staff I will definitely drop them and never go back… and I’ve been with them for years without any complaints. If the star rating changes after tomorrow it’s because the manager did their job, if not, then TMobile is allowing this person is getting away with calling a customer a «retard».

One can only get so excited(I would hope.. .) when discussing cell phones, service providers, and the fast-talking obsessive types who tend who work in their storefronts. That said, I had a very pleasant and worthwhile experience at this T-Mobile shop the other day. I’m not a big commission waiting to happen. There are only two things I equate with cell phones: texting and increased risk of testicular cancer. I’ve been meaning to ‘upgrade’ my phone for a few months now(from most-primitive 2009 to most-primitive 2012) and, after expressing my wishes to Christian, the guy working in the store, he helped me out. This guy was incredibly helpful. Despite the fact that my transaction was probably harming him, in terms of some advanced-metric that the heartless corporation uses to measure their employees, he thoroughly explained to me how T-Mobile had changed their plans since 2009 and walked me through my options – not pushing anything but letting me come to the obvious conclusion. When we first signed up with T-Mobile, on Coburg Road in 2009, I had a similarly positive experience(and, believe me, I’m extremely wary of the folks who work in these kinds of places) so I’m detecting a trend of good service and/or good luck with T-Mobile. Bottom line: I walked out of there with the(cheapo) phone that I wanted, on a plan that is costing me a few bucks less each month, and I felt valued as a customer. They have lots of fancy missile-launcher phones too, so I’d recommend them to anybody. Ask for Christian, he’s a good guy and probably needs your normal sale to average out my piddly public servant purchase.
