Just happened to stop in on St. Patrick’s day and the kitchen was serving up Corned Beef and Colcannon, which is creamy potatoes, cabbage & leeks. That’s what you wish you could get from every bar & grill that’s serving green beer on March 17, but since the owner, Rick, is Irish, well, I was very glad to be able to enjoy more than just green beer on St. Patrick’s day. What sets a good bar apart from the rest is the kitchen and the cook. I knew that, but today I was reminded of it!

Tweaker bar. Burger was fine though. Beer was, well, beer. Bar service was prompt enough.

Good food and drink, pool, darts, video poker, with some great old-time, prohibition era photos and artifacts. Kind of a neighborhood bar where everyone seems to know each other. Nothing fancy, but a good pour on the drinks and some good food specials. Like anyplace, the kitchen staff change, so i have really great food and some that was just average bar food. The owner, Rick is a great guy, and always good for conversation.

Avoid. I went with a friend after reading their menu online and wanted to give it a try. The food is not that good. Its almost all Sysco Food Service yuck: cans of Prepared Gravy, half-gallon cartons of Scrambled Eggs and giant bags of frozen Hash-browns. Fine, I thought, I’ve enjoyed cafeteria food before. But when my friend asked for Sriracha, we got a red squeeze bottle, the kind you’d expect ketchup to be in. We stared at it and the barkeep stated: «We make our own Sriracha.» Really? We were now staring at her, because that sounded AMAZING. I asked how they did that, and my friend tried it. I don’t recall what she told me because my friend suddenly looked not just disappointed, but disgusted. So of course I tried it. And I am here to tell you, mixing ketchup and Tabasco together Sriracha does not make. Flavorless cafeteria food aside, «house-mixed» Sriracha-it-ain’t bothered me the most. Dine at your own risk.

Stopped in on a fluke one Saturday morning. Really glad we did. Great bloody Mary’s, they actually have bacon in them! Food was generous and tasted really good. The Bartender made us feel right at home. She was very sweet and really attentive. She was pretty hot too. Prices were very fair. We will definently go back

Pretty neat place. My friend and I had breakfast here after dropping our friend off at the airport. I like this place. It’s pretty straight forward. I was surprised that there were people here so early in the morning and drinking beers. This is a bar that serves a pretty ok-tasting breakfast. I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered eggs and hashbrown with some toast. It was decent. Don’t come here expecting a breakfast joint like the pancake house or Denny’s. There is an outdoor seating area. Seemed like a pretty cool bar. Definitely one of those bars that has its regulars. Oh yeah, this place has a speakeasy/prohibition theme to it; however, it wasn’t so apparent by anything other than framed b/w photos hung around the bar.
