Astoria Bar and Poker Room

Do not waste your time or money. The place is ridiculously small. The service leaves a lot to be desired. The location is off of one of the most traveled streets. There are a lot of other stores surrounding the bar. It’s located towards the back of the lot so you won’t see any signage to guide you.

I went back to this place and the bartender remembered by drink and name which is cool. Super friendly guy that bends over backwards to make you happy with your drinks.

The place was cramped with very little sitting areas. Drinks were very expensive! The service was lacking personality. Robots would have had more! I won’t be going back.

This bar is in serious need of a reality check with their completely disrespectful & unprofessional band bookie who wanders around the bar Sh*t talking the very bands he books.
This time he didn’t notice that the band leader was right behind him kindly waiting for him to finish his conversation before noticing it was his band he was slandering, Busted.
Then he runs outside and yells at the band, their manager, and 5 of the bands fans in his drunken stuper as they were leaving because he couldn’t keep to his thoughts to himself and after the band manager informed his boss that his attitude just cost the bar all of their fans beer money. When a large gathering of people come to a run down bar to see one band that is disrespected by the very people who they’re making the money for, they follow the band out to see them play elsewhere.
Leaving one piece of advice in their empty wake, being UNPROFESSIONAL and disresectful doesn’t win you over with an angry crowd or they’re money!
