Interesting. I wrote a scathing report about the Gift Card Practices of Valley River Center, Eugene, Oregon, and it disappeared. Basically, they lost $ 75 and, now, refuse to acknowledge it. They accepted payment for a gift card, issued the card and a corresponding Gift Card Receipt, but failed to add the money to the card. When presented with the gift cards and receipts (I brought two), the assistant manager said (in so many words) that it was not her problem and that the store manager is off until Monday. So much for letting the granddaughters shop during the holidays.

When I went to the Children’s Place it was a very quick in and out shopping trip as we were only looking for pants for my son, but after looking around a bit I realized that they carry a very large variety of clothing styles and have a super friendly staff. They aren’t the cheapest option in town, but the quality of the garments seems very good.
