What a Raquet

I have been going to What a Raquet since I moved to Eugene. It is an excellent specialty tennis store. As of right now, you can rent a pro racket for free for a whole week! I tried it, loved my racket, and went back for more. They have information about local tournaments, courts to play on, or other general tennis stuff. They also have squash and racquetball equipment as well.
Time for the downsides, so you know I am not just a faker.
1. Bad location for Downtown/​University Eugenians — they are way out in West Eugene, off of 11^th and Bailey Hill — in the middle of some far out strip mall, however it is accessible by the Fern Ridge Trail if you travel by bike.
2. They are building up inventory still — as they are new, and sometimes run out of supplies — call first if you are looking for something in particular.
3. Corny (but informative) website.
Overall they are a pleasure to work with — friendly, very knowledgeable staff with a passion for all things tennis.
