It’s a quaint little pizza shop, you might miss it if you drive by. But it’s totally worth stopping in. I had a fantastic grinder called«the mobster». My girlfriend had a personal pizza, the«yell-o». We will definitely be going back.

Great food. The wine is boxed FYI. They have reduced their wine list substantially. Friendly staff.

These guys are always friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and comfy, and the pizza is great. I’m especially a fan of their calzones. I even got a delivery from them one time from a dude on a bike-totally nice guy and fast! The beers are great, and a steal at $ 3(along w $ 1 slices) from 3 – 5 pm everyday! You can’t beat that. But even at full price($ 2.50) it’s a great place to get your pizza fix.

Great little place for a slice and a beer/wine! Love the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. There isn’t a lot of seating room but that’s partially why it’s cozy!

Good pizzas, great beers and nice ambience. Have been to both their main location and the cozmic location and they are equally good. There’s more space at cozmic if you’re a big group. Though I’ve not been to their happy hour, I understand it’s a great deal on pizza slices and beer. Can’t go wrong with this place of your craving decent pizza and beer.

Solid pizza, happily sold by the slice(and it’s not a ripoff to buy just a slice or two compared to a whole pie), with lots of good toppings. Slices are thin crust and cool quickly. We usually order one slice at a time and put in an order for the next when we receive our first slice to get fresh hot slices. Many creative combos-they skew towards meat, but there’s always a couple veggie ones and you can get non-dairy cheese. Also, lots of great cheap drinks on tap, including multiple non-beer choices. Occasionally, the slices get a bit burnt and it’s a little slow, but friendly.

Dang it! I already wrote a review and posted a picture. Where’d it go!!! Anyhoooo… Tiny little Eugenie place. Find a corner and park your bootie there. My salad was yummy… the beer and wine plentiful… hence, an extra star. The help was EXCELLENT – handsome strapping young lad w brunette tresses with a charming air and a winning smile, cute little blonde gal tossing pizza dough– add another star. We left off one star only because we created our own pizza combo and they told us our toppings would be too heavy for the crust if we added more. Wow! We were excited… only to be sommmmmewhat(not too much) letdown. We hail from the days of Godfather’s Deep Dish… so, I guess it’s all relative. Hubby expected a lot more toppings, especially the pineapple, which was sprinkled on. So, for the price we paid, next time I’d tell them not to be afraid to weigh down the crust. Other than that, I’m taking a girlfriend of mine next week because she loves a good glass of vino and will request that they slather on the toppings. LOL!

No corn dogs. Why are they on the menu? Good question. Probably for the same reason a bunch of other stuff is on the menu that they don’t serve anymore. Better to call and ask.

This is pizza done the eugene way. It’s such a perfect little restaurant. Great selection of toppings and drinks… Lots on tap, including kombucha. Killer crust, and the sauce is on point. I really dig the vibe and music, it’s my kinda place.

We came up for the USATF National track meet from Southern California and always look for local restaurants. It was 99 degrees in Eugene yesterday but we walked the ¾ mile to Whirled Pies. We walked in and I think it was hotter inside than out! But the atmosphere was awesome and it was a very cool and funky place. The service was awesome and the two kids running the place were so nice and helpful. It was fun talking to them and watching each of them throw the dough in the air. Excellent pizza with local ingredients and a great selection of local beers. What more can we ask for?

Not impressed. First of all, we weren’t greeting by the young man at the counter when we walked in. Then ordered the pesto veggie pizza, waited about 20 minutes, and ended up being disappointed. May give them another try, but will NOT get anything with their pesto.

I live three blocks from this place and whenever I stop by, I always wonder why I don’t stroll on over more often when I’m feeling peckish. I always go during happy hour. Cheap slices, which works for me since I’m not exactly made of money. The crust is crispy, the pizza is perfectly cheesy and the toppings are balanced. I’m not a beer person, although my boyfriend enjoys the drinks during HH. The employees are friendly and casual but remain professional as well. Only reason why it isn’t 5 stars is because I personally prefer a chewier, less crispy pizza. If they offered that, it would be nothing short of spectacular.

I was really surprised by how amazing our pizza was. Kind of a divy little hole in the wall and the service was alright, they barely noticed us walking in the door and it was pretty empty so I would have at least expected a hello. But the pizza was on point. We had the Monroe street pizza and it was so good! Definitely a new take out place for us. If the inside was cleaned up a bit and the staff a little more tentative we might actually go sit and enjoy a drink with our pizza. The pizza itself makes up for everything though.

Okay, so this is going to be my go-to pizza place when I want just a slice or two. As far as NY style pizza goes, it’s pretty darn good for the area: the crust is good and has the right level of crispy-to-chewy balance, nicely balanced and complex flavors, and the sidebar of toppings I’ve come to expect at any decent pizza joint.(You’ll also find sriracha, a popular condiment in restaurants all over Eugene. As a new Eugenian, it perplexed me the first time I saw sriracha outside of a restaurant serving anything remotely Asian inspired.) Like drinking things on tap? You’ve got a choice of local craft beer, locally made kombucha and root beer!(Seriously, that root beer is delicious. Try it.) This place is maybe a little small, but so cozy. Don’t expect to bring a large group with you, but you could easily seat three or four people without any trouble.

Pizza was good, loved the happy hour prices, it was cute and cozy good for anyone to go. Staff was kinda slow but I’m very forgiving.

I admit that I am not the worlds biggest fan of pizza in general. I should rephrase that. I am, what many might call, very particular about my pizza. That being said, Whirled Pies did the trick for me. They pretty much covered my ‘weird’ requirements for pizza. Honestly, the requirements I have aren’t that strange, but to my spouse, I am considered a ‘pizza snob’. I like thin/thinner crust, not overly greasy and good quality, local & organic as much as possible toppings. So the regular ‘chain’ pizza places don’t really cut it for me and that, apparently, makes me a ‘snob’. The pizza was amazing, So melt in your mouth-every-bite-making-you-want-more-and-more-until-you-are-so-full-you-might-explode good. They have perfected the crust and the sauce. The sauce being so wonderfully flavored that it compliments the delicate intricacies of the crust… or is it the other way around? I don’t know. All I know is that it’s delicious. The house salad is also delicious. I believe the super tasty dressing is made in house, but I might be wrong about that. I am kind of wavering between 4 and 5 stars. I am going to leave it at 4 for now and most likely will change it to 5 after I go there again. Do yourself a favor and go to Whirled Pies.

Wow… I just spent all day moving to the neighborhood, I needed to reward myself and my kids! Holy smokes… I looked up pizza delivery, almost went with the walmart white trash pizza from Pizza Hut… then wait! Whirled pies??? I remembered I have Met the owners before at fair in Veneta. I’ll give it a whirl:). This pizza rocked it. I taste the love. A hand tossed crust with bubbles of delight, crisped to perfection, man size sliced and full of scrumptious toppings, delivered on bicycle super fast and super hot. Thanks you guys, you made my day.

A small, divey, hole-in-the wall neighborhood pizza restaurant that serves quite a few local beers and even home-made kambucha tea on tap. I got there after the lunch time rush but before happy hour so the place was empty. I ordered a small Hawaiian pizza(at least their version of it) with a diet coke, the total came out to be about $ 10. All the pizzas are hand tossed thin crust pizzas. The crust wasn’t soggy or burnt, nice and crisp. The toppings were okay. The small size was about 9 inches across and yielded 4 slices. I felt the price was a touch on the high side, but I guess if you take advantage of coupons and happy hour this place becomes a deal. If you are passing through or in the neighborhood, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Personally, I don’t think I would go out of my way for their pizza, but if I lived in the area(especially within walking or biking distance) this restaurant would easily become a local hang out spot.

Soooo fantastic. Total«Eugene» restaurant(it that good? or bad? You decide) What’s sure is that their pizza pies are AMAZING. Creative combinations, respectable ingredients, and down right delicious! Seating is quaint and cozy but well worth it.
