Best rolls in town. Clean, spacious location, lots of parking, and food is pretty good. Don’t forget the zesty dust

Waited at the drive thru for 20 minutes. Found out they were training a new employee at the dinner rush. I was told to hold on for them to take my order. I had to pull up to the window to get their attention. The manager, Michael Solis, is a supreme jerk off. I stated to Michael that dinner rush is a bad time to train a new drive thru employee. When I asked for his name he gave it to me and immediately walked off and got on the phone. He also pulled the entire staff off the serving line and sent them to the back of the kitchen and made me sit waiting at the drive thru. When Michael came back to the window after about 10 minutes I asked if he had called the regional manager for damage control and he said yes. Instead of apologizing for the wait he over spiced my chicken tenders to the point they weren’t edible and only gave me half servings on my family sides. None of this I knew until I got home. I went back up there to return the inedible food and Mr. Solis refused the refund. When I said the food was way too spicy he said «I know, I told them to do it.» I believe food tampering is a crime. I would avoid this Golden Chick at all costs. They probably spit in your food too. No excuse for 20 minutes when there was only one car in front of me when I got here.
By the way, I sent an email to corporate and received a reply that they would review the video footage. They also told me they have never had a complaint on Mr. Solis in four years. I haven’t heard another word from Corporate since then. You can see by the other reviews that this particular location is a piece of crap. IT NEEDS TO UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT BEFORE MR. SOLIS RUNS IT OUT OF BUSINESS.

Rolls are AMAZING… but everything else just doesn’t hit the mark. I have been to the Hurst, and Trinity locations and both times the employees have given great Customer Service and wait was not long. This location doesn’t even start to compare. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it took over 10mins just to get our meals. And when it was ready the employee just pointed at me and the food to let us know it was ready. By this time their was one other customer in the restaurant this is just not acceptable.

How would I describe golden chick? Well, I love chicken, not all chicken tastes the same. There are alot of chicken resturants around, so that means competition.
I don’t really care for golden chick, the 1 and only thing I like are the rolls. The chicken tenders are SMALL and kind of flavor less to me. The mashed potatoes are bland and always need salt for some flavor.
I think the combo meals are expensive for the amount of food you get. They use to have a «$ 5.00 lunch special» which I just learned is now $ 5.50, so it went up .50 cents and the chicken got smaller, wtf?
In the end everyone s tastes buds are different, but mine is sticking with something else besides golden chick…

I stopped in on the way to a meeting in the mid-​cities. I ordered the roasted chicken and didn’t care for the spices they used for grilling. One highlight of the meal is the huge yeast roll. It was brushed with a sweet buttery glaze. The roll was baked perfectly.
Next time I stop in I’m going to try the fried chicken or the catfish. Both of those looked really good.

My buddy suggested this place to me and I was not disappointed at all. The tenders were hot and fresh and really good. the meal also came with a roll and one side. which I got mashed potatoes. There was really nothing to complain about. The lady at the drive through was really nice too. I would highly recommend this place. It’s a step up from chicken express.

The family and I stop by this location twice a month on average. We usually just order at the drive thru and always get the chicken strips. The food is pretty consistent, although we’ve had a time or two where the chicken wasn’t as fresh as is usually is. Overall, very satisfied with food quality. The reason I can only give them 3 stars is the service. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Last night, it was bad. Pull in the drive thru and the employee says «order when your ready». I give my order, the employee says your total is x.xx. I say thank you, no response. I pull up to the window and pay for the order. A minute or two later, the employee hands me the order and I say thank you. The employee doesn’t say a word, instead gives me the «wassup» head nod. I don’t expect them to act like I just won the customer of the month award when I buy their food but I don’t expect them to act likle I’m bothering them when I come by either.

What are you? chicken? jk… Good chicken, usually fresh… The new spicy seasoning is good. The rolls are good if they are fresh same story for the fries. Also this place is a little pricey for chicken. Overall I would eat here on occasion if I was craving some fried chicken.

So I noticed this new location when I detoured to Highway 10/​Euless Blvd one day. I stopped because I like Golden Chick and it is something alluring about a newly opened restaurant.
I went inside to check things out and I guess I got my hopes up too high because by the time the cashier made it to the register I was over it. side note: I got a delayed greeting when I walked in by a lady working the drive through. Where the front cashier was or what he was doing is beyond me.
I stopped there for the wicked wings that I tried once at the Trinity and 360 location. This particular location did not have them which was disappointing. So I ordered the catfish snack pack (if you get the fish there will alway be at least a 6 min wait because they only cook the fish as it is ordered) which comes with a yeast roll and a side. I also got a chocolate chip cookie and a drink which came to about $ 8.50. This is more than what I wanted to spend for a snack pack.
On to the food, the roll was as tasty as I remember but not warm and fluffy in the least. My fried okra, which i chose as my side was over cooked. The cookie was tasty but the pink lemonade was mixed well.
This location has not found their legs yet but I hope it soon does or I will be going back to the Trinity and 360 location from now on. But if compared to Chicken Express hands down this chain of restaurants is better.

The chicken was hot and very moist. Great chicken tenders. However, the french fries were nothing to write home about, it was $ 7+ for the meal and if you want honey mustard it is $ 0.25 extra! I will pass on this place next time.
I feel Chicken Express is a better deal for an equally good chicken tender meal and great service.
