*sigh* love this shop. Feels like home, everyone is friendly and just happy to be there. Awesome! Oh, and such a huge tea selection!

This was one of my favorite coffee shops to hang out at while I was living in Eureka. Their coffee beverages are delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and loving, and they have great snacks. It can get pretty crowded so snag a table while you can!

Forget coffee — this place has an amazing selection of loose leaf teas that range from mild to spicy to sweet to downright smokey and exotic. There are also a ridiculous amount of syrups you get have added to your drink, everything from lime to eggnog to Irish cream. I love their monstrously huge muffins, organic soup, and vegan chocolate peanut butter bombs. Kudos for serving vegan and gluten-free items too. «Cool beans» indeed.

Es ist gut! Need to warm up to a chilly Eurekan breeze? I needed a hot drink, and Has Beans took care of me. The Pumpkin Spice Chai was liquid comfort food. Yum yum.

I really liked the coffee here, it was very tasty and fresh. The ambiance was nice and made for a fun visit. The baristas were nice and quick to help us. We had a great time and the other people here seemed like they were all stoked to be there too.

The employees are great; very friendly, helpful to tourists and quick to serve you. The coffee was average, but the ambiance was great. I was there 10 minutes and a local regular started chatting to né about my hometown. You could seriously get used to that kind of hospitality!

Good coffee, not great but good. Very friendly service. Overall a decent place to stop for a shot of coffee on a drive thru. Would give it a 3 – 4 star if this worked that way. The King doesn’t play that game. However… The place has that typical NorCal hippie vibe with tie dies on the wall and all that other still living in the sixties crap. If you dig that — this is the place for you. If you are like the King and know that the whole hippie movement was a scam to milk hard working people out of free stuff and free love was just a way for some silver spoon-paper plate douche to have sex with your sister then you might want to keep on driving. The King does not have a sister and did not live in the sixties. But endorses the view of honest hardworking people everywhere that hippies are rich kids trying to take more.

When visiting the fam this is always the first place I hit and the last place I stop on the way out of dodge. The door never hits me in the ass on the way out when I go here. Forget the goofy sounding name and check this great little coffee shop out if you live in town or are driving through. It’s in a cool old corner grocery store setting and open from early until well after dark. Ditch that«I can only rely on Starbucks in this small town» fear and get your caffeine fix here. The employees even know how to steam the milk and pack the grind. Brewing tasty small roast beans that edge more on the French side of the pan than Itallian but not burnt either. Absolutely GREAT baked goods from a variety of local sources including their own kitchen(last time I checked at least) bragging an Apple Pan Dowdy which you just don’t see every day. Their basic mocha is one of the best around, using E. Guittard chocolate and keeping it much more bitter than sweet. It always seems lively outside or inside here and the crowd is pure Humboldt County Experience and is a well known haunt for local bloggers, bluegrass musicians, business people, section 8ers, salty locals, and every one who’s in the know. It’s nestled amidst the historic registry bay view victorians and across from the marina. Their homemade scones are fabulous and they make the other treats are well made compliments to their delicious brews.
