Speedy Taco

This service was good but the food was very disappointing the Carna Asada meat tasted old and reheated and the Al pastor meat did not taste at all like Al pastor should it was nasty. Valen pito!

I love taco trucks in general, and this is one of my favorites. I get the chicken enchilada combo with rice and beans and a side of avocado, which is always a very generous portion. It’s a lot of food for around $ 8.00 — the avocado side is $ 1.50 — but worth every penny. I haven’t eaten a lot of other items here because I’m so happy with this one. People are nice and the service is pretty quick. I wish I had their phone number so that I could call in orders to go… then they would be even speedier.

I eat here once a week at least because the food is good and the price is unbeatable. I get the super chicken or the super steak burrito and Horchata to drink.

Great taco spot in McKinleyville. Very affordable and the quality of food is great. The Asada burrito is my go to… I have gotten it all three times I have been.

Speedy taco is great, authentic Mexican food for a great price. In my opinion, the tacos, speedy tacos, wet burritos, and quesadillas are the best things on the menu. They have the most flavor. I love the marinated pork and chicken… yum.
It is really nice to eat Mexican food from a place where Mexican people cook the food and eat! There are so many Americanized Mexican restaurants in Humboldt… ick.

So we came out of Broadway Theatre thinking we would go somewhere for lunch when we spotted the Speedy Taco truck and remembered a friend had told us how good and inexpensive it was. We were glad we stopped! I had the Speedy crunchy taco w/​Al Pastor. It was delish — nice marianted flavor and two crunchy shells and not greasy. My hubby and I split a chile relleno and it was superb! Nice egg/​battered and lots of cheese. My hubby had a wet burrito with shredded beef. The sauce on the burrito was OK but the beef was so tender and full of flavor, not like some places where the meat is cooked to death and then is dull and flavorless. Without drinks, our total was $ 13.00 — a steal! Plus the guy who took our order was very pleasant. We will definitely go back.

Speedy Taco, what can I say? Amazing tacos, ‘speedy’ service… I can honestly say this is the best taco I’ve had in Eureka. Don’t be discouraged that they are located in a ‘roach coach’. The staff is really nice, they will remember your order if you’re a regular, and I’ve never had bad food or service from them. Great for a quick, cheap lunch break.
Note: I prefer the basic taco that just comes with the meat of your choice along with cilantro, onion and salsa, rather than the ‘speedy’ tacos, which have iceberg lettuce-​not bad, just not my personal favorite.

Veggie tacos are the best. If I am in McKinleyville or Eureka at lunchtime this is what I’ll be having
